Thanks bro just got me a 2nd gen pathfinder had a 3rd gen explorer lifted it myself rolled it over got this I'm confident on lifting it tomorrow thanks to you
Thanks for your videos. We have very similar trucks. You are a few months ahead of me. I'm cheating by watching your videos before I install something 😄. I removed my truck bed today, installing shackle flip tomorrow.
Friend I would have to say you must live in a snow state that uses lot of salt from seeing them rocker panels all eatin away nonetheless I was thinking about doing a lift on my newer truck probably a 3" some people talk them down but I like them being gives more clearance for bigger wheels most people sway towards suspension lifts though there are too many problems with that rougher rides, drive train & alignement issues, the biggest complaint that people have with body lifts is the gap between frame & body which can be easly fitted with plastic mud flaps cut to fit not a big deal but some people dont attempt to remedie a problem they just want to complain about it..
I'm in Tennessee, not exactly a huge snow state. The guy I bought the truck from said he bought it from DOT. So maybe they used it around the salt piles? Body lifts do have a bad reputation, but they certainly have their place. Good luck with your lift and thanks for watching!
The bolts in the kit are not long enough for that. It would be better to just buy a 2 inch lift kit. Off-road design doesn’t offer a 2 inch body lift but there are other companies that do. Thanks for watching!
my car's body was leaning on left side and i notice that the body mount in front left is quite loose than on the other sides and mounts. Is that the culprit why my car is leaning on left? we change the shock and the spring are all same compressed as on the right side
It could be. Park your car on a flat level surface, then measure from the ground to your frame on both sides of the car at a common point. Next measure from the ground to a common point on both sides of the body. If your frame measurements are the same then you know it has to be a body mount issue. I would also look carefully at that loose body mount. Compare it to the other mounts, maybe some of the rubber has deteriorated and that is why it is loose. If that is the case then it will need to be replaced. Good luck and thanks for watching.
I've never installed a 3 inch body lift so I can't say for sure. But based on some quick google searches it looks like some people have been able to install them without modifying the steering column and some have not. (I hope you were asking about the steering column) If it is not a daily driver then give it a shot and if it doesn't work you should have some time to modify it. Thanks for watching!
I got the lift and the new body mounts both from offroaddesign.com They also offer just the mounts. Check them out here www.offroaddesign.com/exterior-armor/body-mount-kits.html Thanks for watching!
Your truck is older which is piece cake to put everything in but I have a 2017 tacoma the bed would be easy but front end way too much to remove & modify especially the fuse box wire harnesses & brake lines.

I would definately buy this kit for my 2011 ranger supercab fx4 off road
Thanks for your videos. We have very similar trucks.

Glad you like the videos and thanks for watching. Good luck on the shackle flip
My Mazda has bolts coming down from the cab. Not nuts in the cab. Haven’t figured out how to do this yet.
Were I can buy that kit ?
I have a manual truck would this be affected by the 1 inch body lift either shifter ?
A 1 inch body lift shouldn't. Your shifter will be lower in the cab but it should still function properly. Thanks for watching
Would they work for an obs suburban?
Yes you should be able to find a body lift for a OBS burb easily. Thanks for watching!

If I buy this kit can I stack 2 of them together to make it a 2” lift?
The bolts in the kit are not long enough for that. It would be better to just buy a 2 inch lift kit. Off-road design doesn’t offer a 2 inch body lift but there are other companies that do. Thanks for watching!
Will this work on my 93 d21?!
There are body lift kits available, give one a try. Thanks for watching!
Hpw about rear? Does the kit include things for rear?
Yes it has all the bolts, washers, nuts, and lift pucks needed for the bed as well. Thanks for watching

What about on a 3 inch body lift on 77 silverado

But did you fix the rust?
Are you asking about the rockers? If so then, yes. I installed the body lift before working on the floor pans and rockers to get them a little higher.
How long did it take ?
Not very long. If you weren't worried about trying to video the process I would say less than 3 hours. Thanks for watching
Where did you get the body mount kit (not body lift) the rubbers
I got the lift and the new body mounts both from offroaddesign.com They also offer just the mounts. Check them out here

How much to do mine? Take my money
Give it a try, it should be easy

Agreed! older vehicles are much easier to work on. Thanks for watching
What did u do about the steering column
There was enough slack in the steering column to install the lift with no issues. Thanks for watching
