For not liking being on camera Rufus is a natural and, of course, Kates smile lights up any room. Caves creep me out but this was very well done and, thanks to you guys, I now never have to go there. Hope you get back to the boat soon.
Another great view of a wold few get to visit. Thanks for that. The best line..."will we ever grow up?" I hope that part of you both never grows up, for in my experience, staying in touch with the little child in one is a healthy way to look back on innocent and happy days. Balance.
We honeymooned in SA - drove CT to Knysna then back - and recognised a few of these places. What a country it is, and such friendly people along the coast. Thanks for the tour.
I've done a lot of spelunking in "wild" caves - squeezing and crawling, mud and water, and headlamps. But I've never seen a commercial tour that was anything other than paved walks, steps and handrails! Very cool!!!
YAY! 300,000!! Woop Woop! My roommate just told her friend about your channel who lives in London. So keep it growing. I can't wait to see the factory on Leopard Catamarans. Thanks for the video! Stay safe.
The cavern was gorgeous but when it got to the crouched down and/or squeeze through sections, I had to keep reminding myself to breathe. Not sure my claustrophobia would ever allow me to do this in person. South Africa is one of my favourite places I’ve ever been to, so thank you for sharing ❤️
Being at least a month behind on videos, it was so nice to catch up today. Even in binge mode, time spent watching your videos flies by. I’m so glad to see that you’re both staying safe.
Wow that brought back a lot of wonderful memories. My wife is from Stellenbosch and we get there every few years. That is one of my favorite places on the planet. Great land, wonderful people, fantastic food and some of the most majestic natural beauty you can find. Thanks.
Thanks you Wynns, that was great. I know I should be focused on the natural aspects of that cave experience but I couldn't stop thinking about the park rangers that had to haul all that stainless steel railing, formwork for the concrete steps and the electrical cabling into that tight space. All to make it more enjoyable for those that visit, like yourselves. So big thanks to them too.
I don't mind growing old but I refuse to grow up ,,, a bit like you guys I think ! CONGRATULATIONS on becoming the second only sailing UA-camrs to break through the 300,000 mark ... It didn't happen by accident, you made it happen with all your hard work and very very interesting content not least of all your underwater filming and the fun and honesty you guys exude !! Well Done and Fair Winds .. Stay Safe in these strange times !!!
Hi Guys! I was super excited watching this video! I grew up in Oudtshoorn, use to go to Mossel Bay every school holiday and currently living in Cape Town 😀 its lovely seeing our beautiful country through your eyes! Love you guys
Great to see you closer to our part of the world, hope you enjoyed it as much as we do. Very different place to when you were here a few weeks back though. Hope you are safe and staying healthy
Hi guys, what an amazing vlog.. Accidently stumbled across your vlog whilst watching a canal vlog and I must it's been great entertaining through this dire lockdown period in the UK.. I started watching from the day u guys went shopping for your boat 3 yrs ago.. And followed every episode upto poor man's galapagus yet and still more to come.. Its great to see how you guys have transformed into sailors from hard graft.... So just like to say, thank you for all the effort you guys put into your vlogs..
That’s was a fun video, South Africa looks like an awesome place. And it’s great to see Kate again ! We’ve missed her. And you may be growing older but don’t ever grow up !
I have been through a number of caves, and recently went through Carlsbad Cavern, but never was able to go through the tight spaces like you just experienced. Quite the adventure. So far Kate is doing a good job of being a tourist guide.
"The crawly little tiny spaces were super cool!" Sweet Baby Jesus! The only thing that got me through the video was the happy music. Without that, I would have been in full blown panic attack from just watching. LOL! I had to watch to the end to see you all emerge from the cave. I am deep breathing to calm myself down. Hahahaha!
The big open areas were really cool but when it got to those tiny spaces I kind of involuntarily said "nope" and decided to look away for a minute or two.
I *smiled* through the entire episode! Loved seeing y'all back together with Kate again. Fun to meet Rufus. (I had missed the previous Rufus episodes...I'll have to catch up. =) And this area of South Africa completely reminds me of the California Central Coast and Wine Country, one of my favorite happy places. Thank You for this episode during these days! I can completely see this being one of my favorite escapes in the next weeks and months. Cheers! Wishing you all good health and safety, wherever you are!
Only been following you for a month or so now, and really enjoying your channel! When you said Mossel Bay reminds you of the California Central Coast, I had to comment as that's where I now call home. Glad you got to see my part of the world, which, by the way has excellent Pinot Noir! Would love to see you back here some day and be the host for your excursions!
The caves are absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing this with us. Aside from what's going on in the world during this awful pandemic, I hope the both of you are good and well while being stuck in Fiji.
That was really great thank you. Due to my injury I’ll never get to see these spots myself so thank you for expanding my mind for me. I’m very greatful. What I feel is a difference in your channel is you are always exploring, not just sitting on a beach. That’s nice too, however seeing places and locations that I won’t see on a tv documentary is wonderful. Your island visits felt like documentaries which were wonderfully real, not like today where everything is pc and only the fantastically wonderful or fantastically horrible is shown. You guys are real. Thank you very much.🐨🦘
Im so glad you guys got to enjoy South Africa, especially the Western Cape. I lived in Cape Town for 18 years. Best lifestyle city in the world. Great food, wine and weather. You should have gone to Franschhoek. La Petite Ferme is my favorite restaurant there. I live in Cairns now in North Queensland. If you ever sail here say hi!
Thank you for sharing it really was majestic and beautiful, however I was so glad it was you going through the caves and not me so that was amazing and the scenery WOW! Hope you guys are still safe.. love you 🐈🐈💕💕
Great video it brings back a lot of memories. Have family in Mosselbay. Lovely seen Kate again and finally meeting her husband. Thanks for sharing 👍😆🇿🇦
What an Amazing Awesome fun place the caves!!! slipping sliding and just great memories with friends!! Nikki...... no we never ever ever want to grow up!! Wont do it, can't make me!!! At 60 I'm still climbing over the next hill just to see what's there! Well Done kids!! Carry On!
Good decision to make the point when this was filmed. We tried to put date in description of our video, but I guess some people don’t read the description. Very cool you made such a long trip just to go see friends. You guys go to some amazing places. Maybe once we finish RVing, we will travel internationally like you guys. What a cool place for a house. Caves. I’ve only been in one. Awesome. I guess white shirt not a good idea 😅. Oooh small spaces. How do you not get lost? Thanks for sharing. (RV DMC) Alice
Wow braver then I am. I would be walking the trail maybe doing the stairs. But skinny little holes noooo. Thank you again for taking me places I'll never get to see. Safe travel Wynns safe travel.
Wow!! THAT CAVE WAS SO COOL! So fun & unique that you got to do that much crawling & sliding through holes and such. Really fun! Thank you for sharing your South African adventures with us...and it's really fun seeing Kate and Rufus again. Cheers to never being too old or too serious to have fun experiencing wonders! :-)
THANK YOU for filming your adventures in the cave! I'll never get there - and even if I did, I'm claustrophobic so I highly doubt I'd be able to do it - but I was able to enjoy it from the safety of my couch!!
This video made me cry, I don't know why. So happy you're safe and this was filmed before the Pandemic took hold of the world. This made me feel whole...stay safe.
Beautiful just beautiful Thank you for sharing your travels.. It Did look like layers of cake..haha What a crazy job that man has. Peace and Love to all
So happy to see you experience my part of the world, I live merely 2 miles from Creation and like Jason Pino Noir is my staple. Happy that you got to experience SA and trusting hat on your circumnavigation you will again be passing CT for another visit...
It's weird, Kate and Rufus seems like my old friends but actually they are your old friends. well, it is great seeing Kate and Rufus again and to see you guys enjoying a vip tour of South Africa. Love ya, hope you guys are comfortable in Fiji. lock down in my hometown too.
It's always great to see Kate, she never fails to make me smile. Hope Kate and Rufus stay safe as well!
Its always good to see the lovely Kate. Her smile can brighten anybody's day.
For not liking being on camera Rufus is a natural and, of course, Kates smile lights up any room. Caves creep me out but this was very well done and, thanks to you guys, I now never have to go there. Hope you get back to the boat soon.
So wonderful to see Kate's smiling face again. Stuck in the house. Watching your adventures brings so much joy. Thank you. Safe travels

I absolutely love this channel! By far my most favorite one to watch!
Visited it when I was 15 years old...am 42 now...wow.. Perfect vids..thank you.
Great to see Kate again, such good people.
Wow, those caves are amazing. Beautiful beaches, wow, I think after lockdown I'll have to travel there and have a gander.
YAY! 300,000!! Woop Woop! My roommate just told her friend about your channel who lives in London. So keep it growing. I can't wait to see the factory on Leopard Catamarans. Thanks for the video! Stay safe.
I love that you guys are wine and coffee geeks. Enjoy your travels or should I say enjoy editing your old travels. Your vids always make me smile.
Ok glad to hear from you both.
Thanks for sharing this. I grew up in South Africa in Somerset West, near Gordon's Bay. This brings back so many happy memories.

Jason, I love your energy! You always set the positive tone.

I totally agree, wow I was having to breathe deeply to relax as I watched
I never knew I was claustrophobic until I watched this. No caves in my future.
Janaki Bananaki Me too!
What a wonderful SA adventure! Thank you, guys! So glad to see you and Kate!
So awesome seeing my country in your video. Thank you for appreciating my country. Love your videos and hope you are coping with the lockdown
The difference in the light from northern to southern hemisphere is quite striking. So might brighter and sharper shadows in the southern hemisphere.
Could also be because it was still summer when they filmed this? Just a guess.
Curious Minion
Keep these adventures coming. Safe journeys !

You went all the way to South Africa? Wow. Love the view at 4:38. The country is certainly famous for its wine. I want to visit to see the animals
THANK YOU for filming your adventures in the cave! I'll never get there - and even if I did, I'm claustrophobic so I highly doubt I'd be able to do it - but I was able to enjoy it from the safety of my couch!!
Congrats on the 300k subscribers guys!

This video made me cry, I don't know why. So happy you're safe and this was filmed before the Pandemic took hold of the world. This made me feel whole...stay safe.
