My current Apple ecosystem is really really small, but as a 3rd year uni student it’s really all I currently need - an iPhone XS Max which works perfectly but I’m thinking of changing it in the second half of 2023; AirPods 2nd generation since I always listen to music, watch UA-cam and lectures online (combined with Apple Music student subscription which gives me free access to Apple TV as well); and finally an iPad Air 5 which is what I use to take my lecture and class notes. @@AndrewClare Imo it comes down to personal preference. I initally bought it for 3d sculpting so I wanted to have a big screen to work and see better. I used to have an external monitor to work. In that case a smaller macbook would have done the job, but I really like the Idea of minimalism. That was also a reason why I went for the 16 inch so I could get rid of the extra monitor (and if I really need more space I can use sidecar to make my iPad into a second screen). So after all I think it really depends on what you use the MacBook for.
