    She reminds me a lot of myself, I'm also getting ready to start learning how to drive (except I'm American so I shouldn't be watching these videos, haha). I find watching others go through the process to be really comforting. Thanks for these.

    Its funny how after 12 driving classes, now I feel like that I'm watching "beginner", while I still remain beginner despite having all confedence and driving smooth without huge mistakes. That's what I love about driving, every break from driving, every second in car, driving or just sitting, you are feeding your brain with ! And it feels better and better every single time. I can only imagine if I can say that I'm right now at 95% of my confedence what will be and how will I feel after 40 classes.

    Wow people are so petty. Every single person who's learning to drive stalls and she's obviously never driven a car before so of course she's nervy. Everyone is at first. It just takes practice and gaining more confidence as you have more lessons. The driving instructor helps a lot as well. This man obviously knows what he's doing and isn't picky or too demanding. He's letting her just get to grips with the car and not making her more nervous.

    • @Alexander-my9pn
      @Alexander-my9pn 7 років тому

      Gazza Laddo Yeah it's all about practising which in turns gets used to the techniques,steps and lessons which the instructor have taught you including parking as well soo Yeah haha😅

    • @bullseye1784
      @bullseye1784 3 роки тому

      It's the type of thing where you stall the car like 50 times when you're starting off and then once you get the hang of it you're like "how was I not able to do this before"

    wow are all instructors in UK this nice? I want to go to driving school with this guy! :) So sweet and calm and patient and explains everything step by step... Most instructors here in Croatia are hysterical nerveous jerks who have no patience for begginers and love to scream and freak you out... But the girl seems really slow, bless her...

    My thinking was, when something of interest comes up I will switch the view, rather than have a window open which might be showing very little and might perhaps be a little distracting. As the lessons progress the front view will come into play more and more.

    Very late but this was uploaded in my birthday. I was 13 when this came out. I wish I found these videos sooner but as a 13 year old I wasn't interested in watching these type of videos. I am now 19 and I have been doing driving lessons since about March I think and will be doing my test in the next month or so. I have watched pretty much all claire's driving lessons so now I'm going to watch Nikki's driving lessons

    might be an idea to have the front facing camera always on screen in one of the corners, thus showing both perspective.

  • @fenikzart
    @fenikzart 11 років тому +1

    Problem with that is for people using this as learning material like i did, you need to see everything at all times, this allowing you to put yourself in "if that were me" situation. I think having the camera on all the time is acceptable, we only need to see bobs face, and the driver themselves, so you have a massive portion of screen that could be used. And as for "distractions" when driving you have to have eyes everywhere, this again this is great learning material. each to their own though

    i had none of these books or things to revise and fill out, when i was learning my instructor just taught me how to drive and everything that was relevant, then just a dvd to revise from for my theory, if your planning on starting lessons go for a small personal company rather than the big learner companies and you wont get so much bullshit talking at the start but a more relevant quicker advice

    I have been taught to not set the gas just to move off with the clutch alone

    • @samworrall2589
      @samworrall2589 6 років тому

      That is fine for creeping forward slowly, but applying a bit of gas before hand lets you pull away quicker like when you pull away at traffic lights. Your instructor will teach you this when you're ready. Good luck!

    • @SinistaProductions
      @SinistaProductions 6 років тому

      sarsy 95 that’s very well and good in a diesel, but do it in a petrol and you’ll be stalling it every time. Unless you’re on a downwards slope, then you can just roll with the clutch pressed in and go straight to 2nd gear

    • @mindscapereality1173
      @mindscapereality1173 6 років тому +2

      jay rub Once you see the lights go from red to red+amber, you apply a little gas and find the bite. Once you got it, release the handbrake. Simples!

    • @SinistaProductions

    I've had to stop watching this after 10 minutes. You NEVER EVER leave a learner driver on their own in a car with the keys, especially in the ignition!! Demonstrating the blind spot by getting out the car is idiotic for H&S reasons too especially as the ADI isn't even wearing a high visibility jacket. He doesn't even tell her or demonstrate how to open the drivers door from the inside safely. Left hand on the handle so it can't swing out suddenly or to much like with a gust of wind . What right have LDC got to criticise other ADI techniques in this description? that is the responsibility of DVSA when necessary. If your ADI franchise holders are so great then why can't they get their own pupils & go independent?

    • @goldenkoi23
      @goldenkoi23 6 років тому

      No mention in cockpit drill that foot brake operates brakes which are connected to all 4 wheels & it applies red brake lights, handbrake only operates on back wheels and when you should & shouldn't use it, no mention of how to hold the steering wheel safely, 10 to 2, or demonstration of pull push technique for turning.
