2023 VW Tiguan SE R-LINE Wheel Center Cap Removal

Replacing the center caps on a VW Tiguan. Instructions called for removal of the entire wheel and to push the original cap out from the back.
I used a BMX American bottom bracket cup as that is what I had handy. Anything with a decent surface area that you can grip can be used.
TIP: remove the glue right after pulling the cap out as the longer the glue sits, the harder it is to remove.
I’m guessing this will work for many other VWs and other manufacturers too.
