- Join Dean Robert in the beautiful sun-lit porch of the newly renovated Berkeley Center of the episcopal Berkeley Divinity School at Yale on this Canadian Thanksgiving / Columbus / Indigenous Peoples' Day as he continues looking into St Luke's writings. Today DR considers the reading of the Gospel in the Nazareth synagogue and demonstrates Jesus' belief that it truly is for all people - a very radical proclamation for those that wanted to keep the faith exclusive so that they might control it.

Dean Robert, thank you so much for taking time to do this teaching on St Luke, reinforced with lovely prayers and readings. Thank you to Fletcher - as always - for his creativity behind the camera and getting it onto UA-cam for us all to benefit from.
Whenever I listen to Dean Robert talking about the bible, I'm struck by the proximity and immediacy that is conveyed by scripture. It is not only a narrative of past events but also brings an awareness of God's love manifest in the present. I continue to be very grateful to Dean Robert and to Fletcher for helping me to not only to stay in touch with my faith but to revitalise it.
You choose the most beautiful & peaceful settings for morning prayer. Thank you for sharing.

It IS a lovely room and for us such a special space as for 20+ years we've been having daily breakfasts and coffee and chats with wonderful students from Berkeley in that space after the morning services and at this time of year with the sun pouring in - as it is this morning - it is heavenly! I love the setting in this beautiful room with the teapot cups and milk jug just like when DR read passeges from Luke in 2020 now we look at luke afresh during this week as we come together love and God to you both from Joanne and Chris.xx ❤

The sunflowers are a'treat. Thinking of Ukraine. My NY home skirted their neighborhood. Suffice to say, I learned Chicken Kiev at the Russian Tea Room. But Kyviv is in Ukraine. Great food, orthodox catholics. Blessed.

However, you mentioned the naughty squirrels: By all means insist that you be introduced to our chipmunks 😊 I say this because as an American, we are in a period of our present/history that gives so many of us such angst.
