The TIE that Kylo flew to Exegol to help Rey defeat Palpatine didn’t even have weapons on it since it’s a reconnaissance/scout ship. It even somehow survived the destruction of the second Death Star.

They really should make those solar panels able to rotate, that way they can be turned back during flight to not obstruct the pilots vision, and turned forward during landing to save space
As a huge fan of the bad guy ship designs for the longest time, no small part thanks to ye olde TIE FIGHTER game, I am pretty disappointed that the variation in the current canon is almost nonexistent when it came to the later films. I get it, they need to stick to some sort of standard design for familarity and brand awareness, but man oh man things look so less imaginative. Which is why I was ecstatic that Rebels brought back the TIE Defender...then thought about the First Order and wondered why in the hell they just stuck to basic TIE Fighter designs. And Kylo Ren doesn’t get any real special designed TIE like Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced and instead he gets nothing more than a souped up TIE Interceptor? Laaaaame.
Andrew Viewtieful Tachibana I’m guessing not every ISD has a TIE Advanced X1 since those TIE Fighters are more expensive than the regular TIE Fighters. That could explain why the TIE Advanced v1 that was created.
I pray that the TIE Hunter becomes canon again. They were an awesome TIE variant, equipped with shields, hyperdrive, proton torpedos, ion cannons, and s-foils that were near identical to an X-Wing. Problem is that TIE Hunters were used exclusively by Imperial Storm Commandos, so they would have to be made canon again too.
My favourite is the Tie special forces used by the FO. Also I never noticed the standard tie whisper in TROS until I've briefly seen 2 chase after the falcon through a green gas planet
Can't have too many TIE models. They all share the same iconic cockpit and wing design, engine sound and laser fire sound. No how they look, you know it's part of the TIE-family.

The TIE Scout is shown in The Rise Of Skywalker when BEN, not Kylo but Ben, goes to Exogol after both of his TIE Whispers have been destroyed and the best shot to look for it is when he has landed next to Luke’s T-65B Rebel Alliance Red Squadron X-Wing. It looks just like a regular TIE Fighter but it has a hyperdrive and possibly shields.
The Tie Whisper modified interceptor’s stats seems to not make sense, it has the same wing set up as the Baron so it should be four laser cannons to Missile launchers between the wings. Plus the underslung turret from the normal tie Whisper. Though the Whisper’s stats are from Ultimate Star Wars new edition and the original ultimate Star Wars is known to a lot of errors.
Fo special forces tie fighter is cool but we never one fire from behind besides Finn and Poe escape. Isn’t the tie fighter used by Kylo REN in TROS the LEGO tie scout fighter? Funny jokes aside tie fighters have and will always be the best sounding star fighter in Star Wars no matter it’s looks.
There is a you-see-it and you-missed-it moment. One shot, during the Battle of Takodana shows a Special Forces TIE fired it’s turrets from behind, shooting a Resistance T-70 X-Wing.
Hello! Thanks a lot for this amazing video, but at the end instead of saying « may the force be with you », you should have say : Long Live the Empire !!!
I love how the First Order essentially took vehicles used by the Galactic Empire and made them better by getting rid of their weaknesses (E.G. the First Order TIEs having deflector shields and a backwards facing gunner's seat where the Imperial TIEs had non)
5:00 The TIE Scout is probably a TIE-Fighter with a hyperdrive and greatly resembled a normal TIE Fighter. This might be the TIE Fighter kylo used to go on exegol in episode 9 since standard TIE Fighters don't have hyperdrives and Rey took his new TIE whisper interceptor to go on the same island Luke lived until his sweet death
The Tie baron probably took inspiration from the Red Baron (Manfred Von Richthofen) an early fighter pilot credited with 80 kills known for flying an all red Fokker DR.I
Fun fact, in Legends Baron Soontir Fel is basically the Star Wars version of the Red Baron. His ships get the red stripes down the sides and he's easily considered the very best non-Force-using pilot in the Imperial Navy, the Imperial equivalent to Wedge Antilles (who was *never* an Imperial in Legends). The two become rivals as they lead the Rebel and Imperial fighter corps best units respectively: Rogue Squadron under Wedge's command and the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing under Soontir Fel's command.

4:36 shoutout to Jaxxon! I request that you do a Jaxxon episode, he deserves it, he's canon now, too. Great coverage on the Tie fighters, :)
Star wars explained, a tie scout is just a tie with a hyper drive, the tie Ben Solo used in rise of skywalker was a tie scout, which is how he went into hyper space with a tie fighter
I can't be the only one who thinks that the first order tie bomber looks like the unidentified tie variant from the legends video
dragonblaster 10,000 actually the First Order TIE Bombers almost look like the TIE Command Shuttle.
Edit: The design of the First Order TIE Bomber are inspired by the TIE/sa Bomber, TIE VIP Shuttle from Empire Strikes Back, TIE/d Defender “multi-role” starfighter and Defender Elite and the TIE/vn Silencer.
The TIE scout is seen in the rise of Skywalker. It is the tie Kylo takes from the ruins to exxegol and it looks just like a normal TIE. I was confused at first but JJ Abrams and the novel clarified that.
I play the game by Fantasy Flight Games called Xwing Miniatures, and there's two tires that come to mind that you missed- the Tie Aggressor Tie Phantom
They really should make those solar panels able to rotate, that way they can be turned back during flight to not obstruct the pilots vision, and turned forward during landing to save space
This is where the fun Begains
Laaaaame.
To be fair Kylo had the TIE Silencer which he for some reason did no longer use in tros
TIE deathstar
...how hard it was.
Tie whisper and tie silencer is my favorite
Long... have I waited...
*ITS FINALLY OUT*
Long have I waited for a remake of one my most favorite video
Actually, the shuttle used by Captain Needa was a different ship, as the wings are inside out, unlike the rest of the TIE Boarding shuttles.
Isn't the ship ben takes to exegol retconned to be a special scout model ?
It could’ve been assumed that the TIE Fighter been found in the wreckage was different from the standard TIE Fighter.
how was it not retconned to be the Tie Advanced X1?
I believe the Heavy TIE Fighter is also called the TIE Brute
Can't have too many TIE models. They all share the same iconic cockpit and wing design, engine sound and laser fire sound. No how they look, you know it's part of the TIE-family.
I love the reference to The Red Baron with the Tie Baron
Hello love your channel it’s the best Star Wars channel
Would really like someone like Hasbro, Hot Wheels, SOMEONE make a model or toy of the TIE we got to see in Solo.
JJ Abrams: Call it the tie dagger.
Crew worker: Ok, Tie Dorito it is.
Some of these I really want in Squadrons.
Man any of those TIEs with sharp angles, hot damn thirsty interceptors are the best looking
Tie fighters look so NICE!! especially the interceptors
Good to have these videos back.
Now we need to update the “Every Rebels, New Republic, and Resistance Starfighters” thanks to Star Wars Resistance and TROS.
Edit: Look, this TIE fighter (the TIE Crawler) even in canon is the worst ship of all time. Watch Bombastic and Eckhartsladder’s videos about why the TIE Crawler is the worst Star Wars ship.
7:04 Where are the actual photos of the First Order TIE Bomber cockpit?
7:19 Does anybody have high-definition (HD) photos of the cockpit of the TIE Whisper?
7:49 Where can I find photos of the TIE Dagger cockpit?
It's not a ship, it's a Tank
Well of course it’s a terrible ship, it can’t fly, like bruh.
All TIEs are fragile.
I’m still waiting for the updated video of the X-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, and Y-Wing. Even though there are subvariants, we still need to update the Rebel starfighters in Canon.
Update video: Every starfighter from the Rebellion, New Republic and Resistance (2020 or 2021).
Thanks for the video, but you missed three: Tie Aggressor, Tie Punisher, and Tie Phantom from the book Starships and Speeders.
I'd like to know how long ago in the time line the Star Wars movies were when Earth got mentioned in Star Wars Resistance
Gary Pfeiffer it got mentioned in Resistance??
What are you referring to? That didn't happen.
@@PerovNigma It's what I heard in on the channel & I was like "WHAT?!?! STAR WARS GALAXY IS MILKY WAY!?!? THE ACTUAL ****?!?"
@@garypfeiffer3489
What's your source?!
@@PerovNigma what's my source?? What am i, an elephant? I know what i heard. I just don't remember what the video explaining it was called. All i know is that it had to do with Kaz & the gang running from the 1st order.
I knew this was coming. It's as predictable as the May 4 canon timeline update. Hehehe.
Now we need an updated version of the “Every Rebels, New Republic, and Resistance Starfighters of the Star Wars Canon” video.
@Dylan Kikunaga Agreed!
The 2020 updated version will have ships from Star Wars Resistance and TROS. Now, starfighters that served in the Resistance are the Aces’s racers and X-Wings of Jade Squadron. B-Wing and Y-Wing.
Though the Whisper’s stats are from Ultimate Star Wars new edition and the original ultimate Star Wars is known to a lot of errors.
what about the Tie variant that Ben Solo uses to fly to Exegol? i thought i remember you saying the explanation was that it was an experimental Tie?
James Marquez I think the novel said it was a scout tie
Fo special forces tie fighter is cool but we never one fire from behind besides Finn and Poe escape.
Isn’t the tie fighter used by Kylo REN in TROS the LEGO tie scout fighter?
Funny jokes aside tie fighters have and will always be the best sounding star fighter in Star Wars no matter it’s looks.
FO special forces tie is my favourite
There is a you-see-it and you-missed-it moment. One shot, during the Battle of Takodana shows a Special Forces TIE fired it’s turrets from behind, shooting a Resistance T-70 X-Wing.
Can you do one of these for stormtroopers and clone trooper
TIE Baron is basically an Royal Guards Interceptor with a hyperdrive and shield.
Actually the Baron is a combination of the TIE Advanced v1 and the TIE Interceptor.
Hello! Thanks a lot for this amazing video, but at the end instead of saying « may the force be with you », you should have say : Long Live the Empire !!!
I like the Mining Guild Tie!! Cool colour scheme..😉
I love how the First Order essentially took vehicles used by the Galactic Empire and made them better by getting rid of their weaknesses (E.G. the First Order TIEs having deflector shields and a backwards facing gunner's seat where the Imperial TIEs had non)
Also, the First Order Walkers were designed to not tip over.
the tie defender is my favorite one
Me after I spent 10 minutes watching the last all TIE starships episode a few days ago
*Ah shit here we go again*
Edit: Fixed some mistakes
The Tie Dagger looks like a fast forward button. Or maybe that was just my desire to fast forward through Rise of Skywalker
I like the Thai striker and it’s a pretty cool design I want to make a hybrid, a normal tie, fighter, base and tie striker wings
I wish these videos included a note with where each model first appeared.
The one that transporting Captain Needa was actually called a TIE Shuttle
The Tie baron probably took inspiration from the Red Baron (Manfred Von Richthofen) an early fighter pilot credited with 80 kills known for flying an all red Fokker DR.I
Fun fact, in Legends Baron Soontir Fel is basically the Star Wars version of the Red Baron. His ships get the red stripes down the sides and he's easily considered the very best non-Force-using pilot in the Imperial Navy, the Imperial equivalent to Wedge Antilles (who was *never* an Imperial in Legends). The two become rivals as they lead the Rebel and Imperial fighter corps best units respectively: Rogue Squadron under Wedge's command and the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing under Soontir Fel's command.
no tie avenger or tie silencer mentioned *and some tie fighters released in the SW CCG as where the tie-scout picture came from)
So we do this every 2 years? Sweet. Let's do it
