I could not agree more mate. When I'm riding I don't want to listen to music, make phone calls or chat with other riders. I love the fact that being on a bike shuts down all those distractions and it's just me, my bike and the road. It maybe because I'm an old git who started riding in 1976 but when I sling a leg over my Kwack I'm not interested in anything but the riding experience. Well said sir
As one of the longest-running motovloggers form the first generation who started before there was even the right cameras for the job, yes normal vlogging is dead but that is becuase the mass audience lost interest in it. The bigger issue now is the successful channels are either right up some brand's butt or it is basically a tv production, you just can not compeate with that. I just make the videos I want to make and let the video do what is does, you really can not change what the mass audience wants or what the algorithm rewards. If a video is not going to hold the most people on the site and allow ads to run the video will be nerfed by the algorithm within a day. I wish it could be like it was 10 years ago but those days are sadly gone.
Yes back went this UA-cam thing started you were getting loads of views when it was all new, there's so much on here, I thing I know how your talking about they are trying to be top gear on bikes saying that I do watch .
Know what you mean, don't know why anyone would listen to music on a bike, and why people want to linkup their crash helmets so they can rabbit on to each other for a hundred miles.
Your channel 'popped up' on my feed. After watching your rant l remember Delboy doing what he called 'JFO' and the master BaronvonGrumble when traveling into London....very entertaining he was....Many Vloggers start with just as you say...Bloke on Bike riding and musing. However, with success comes test ride/s, product review/endorsment..it's the price of success I'm afraid..not to mention progress..Many are very good at filming, editing, post production etc!....Some Riders 'ride' with so much technology festooning their bikes they forget why they ride a Motorcycle in the first place..
Yes I agree as seen on few channels all the temu stuff people reviewing, when they get big numbers subscribe then offers come in ,I still love riding and keeping it all simple 👍
Im "just" 36years old, but old enough to know how it was before the internet. Nowdays everyones a zombie on their smartphones, that needs a dopamine hit every 10 sec or they get depression. Such sad times.
I know what you mean. There's too much tech and random gadgets to advertise in everything. The extent of the tech I consider a "necessary convenience" is fuel injection, affordable helmet comms, and a gopro or equivalent for a dash cam
Maybe I'm just old school too but I like to ride with both hands on the bars, FFS, if something was coming fast the other way around a corner you would have been royally shafted.
As a motorcyclist over 40 years I still live riding…I never film it as it’s still my personal moment on my bike and it still feels as good as when I first got on a bike…so I’m selfish and not sharing that feeling…I don’t have to,you all still no how it feels.I think the only thing that makes me laugh is bad motorcyclist popping at motorist like they no better…anyway enjoy watching yourself and safe riding 👍
So the entire video was just you ranting about how other people ride their bikes. Thats 1 thing i do like about biking is that its personal, you do it how you want, freedom. I don't see many folks complaining about others on classic bikes or enjoying the sound of their 1960's twin. The whining is all from 1 direction, get off your high metal horse and just let folks get on with it.
You have just said what I was saying road bike and people the freedom is why we ride, the ranting wasn't aimed at the normal biker whatever they ride for the enjoyment and any aged machine,I love riding my triumph using your words is a high metal house which it is .
so many different types of riders out there and reasons people want to ride these days - I just think some forget to hop on a bike and just enjoy the ride!
This is why I ride I love it ,not for any other reason than just me the bike ,I film as a hobby that's all and may be if the videos stay on UA-cam in 20 years my son and he's family can see the old bellend doing what he loved, why.ll I.am in so carehome pissing the bed 😅
Well said Dave!! 👍Agree 100%, we just want raw entertainment! 😂. Bikers are not just a group, they're a family! Some of the best people you could know! 😁
Dave, if you are referring to who I think you are, he abandoned a well paid career to scrape a living making bike videos. As for all the electronic bells n whistles, I removed comms from my helmet some 8 years ago. Only have a gps as a backup when touring away from home.
Rants are also a very common phenomenon. You're not above the natural mechanical resistance to change. Listening to rants is more tiresome. You never had to sit and watch any of it.
Get it off yer chest David but you are right I don’t watch many vlogs for long most are the same or are not very informative with no waffling or calling people bell ends 😂😂 keep it up tripplers
Bike. Road. Person. I'll try to remember that when I'm on my big thumper, hell buh, that old Yam would vibrate the shit out of any technology. Bloody speedo shakes all over the place! Rant away Daisy me old mate 😊
Well said that man ! I dont even like looking at a sat nav - just the analogue dials and the road ahead ....and why wpuld i wanna listen to music when ive got the Guzzi purring away beneath me....
To be honest there are so many vloggers on here now it bores me. Now I see them, I watch the 1st few minutes and skip to the end. As for the sponsored ones that get all their kit for nothing and then brag about how much kit they have, wind me up. It's all about making money now to these big vloggers.
@@tripledaveridesagain Yep. Some of them used to do it for the love of motorcycling but after a while, it's the money that takes over. That and the fact that they see themselves are some sort of celebrity. Tossers.

I totally agree Dave, keep it simple with minimal distractions. Thanks for posting Dave, ride safe.

Absolutely ,with no abs no rider aids or Mode .

As an American who randomly clicked onto this video I can't understand a word you said 😂😅
Sorry about that it's my board Suffolk accent you can get subtitles 😊.
