I have a 2015 with the DIY 55% pump. Not a bad install have plenty of miles on it as well. Very good quality kit and was very happy it came with OEM Bosch o-rings. Paired this with a 369 sxe and is a super fun set up on the street

Just put one of mine and it’s knocking and rocking like hell.No way I installed it wrong,I called thinking it had to be retuned or something and my tuning company said that I need to take those plungers out immediately,they have had countless calls doing the same thing and the result was those plungers.I won’t know till Monday when I break it back down.Not happy with Warren

Love the 55% over DIY kit, do not have to take the pump out to change the plungers, very easy to do
I’m about to do this install and was told to remove pump. Did you just keep pressure on the plungers and remove?
@@KoleDevR that's what the directions say but there's a coolant pipe right on top that crosses in between the v take it off and as you're standing in front of the truck it'll be to your right that hat assembly plunger is a little tight to get out but it's possible, much easier than taking the whole pump out and worrying about timing as far as keeping the pressure on the spring it's not that hard you just take your hand push it down start the four bolts and tighten them down evenly

Would you still use the disaster prevention kit with this 55 over kit? Also, would a stock engine see any benefit from this in day-to-day towing?
Yes it's needed. The .55 over pistons have nothing to do with the bottom end of the pump. The bottom end blows up and then wipes everything else out.
@@joshhayes7405 Wow, been years since I posted this! I own one and plan on switching to the DCR. My CP4 is right at 200k miles now. I run OptiLube XL or Hotshots Every Day Treatment for lubricity.
Man we just put this on my truck the other day 2015 along with a fass 140,pulled it out the lot and it ran fine for a few then it started acting like it was starved for fuel/injector knocking and cut off.It’ll idle fine but as soon as you give it hard throttle it does this.Checked everything,no kinks no nothing.Read a lot of forums online how these plungers have done the same exact thing/destroyed there fuel pumps.The company that built my tunes even said the same thing and it’s been due to these plungers.I won’t find out till Monday but have a feeling I’m gonna be raising some hell and having to buy another Cp4.2 pump and possibly some fuel repairs if it destroyed the pump.I have a spe FDK but I’m still worried.I need help

Yes still stock just wanting to get the most out of stock setup then build trans when it needs it.
Im guessing Warren no longer sells this kit as your link to it is broken, and i cant find the kit on their website anywhere...

When are you going to show the labor video? It’s like 10 hours of work easily. I tore down a 6.7 yo do a camshaft replacement a couple months ago but never pulled HP fuel pump. I would like to see how you throw if on there.

I have a 2019 PStroke...truck runs decent..but the turbo lag is worse than my 2011 Pstroke... I expected as good or better. Might look into an aftermarket turbo at some point. Cheers. Great channel
Well the 19 turbos are bigger than the 11's, so that's why. Going non VGT will increase it even more, though. Check out the new kcturbos.com screamer turbo. Sounds just like a 10 blade 6.0 turbo.

Kevin Roberts be careful with the power on that one bro. 11-14 has the weak connecting rods. Too much torque=bad day
John Doran not planning and pushing a whole lot of power by any means. Just trying to ditch this 11-14 pump and go non vgt cause I’ve had nothing but issues with vgt turbos with my truck now and my old 6.0

@@johndoran3274 damn I just did the 364.5 non VGT with a 15+ pump on my ‘13. Thinking about doing this 55 over because I stay getting low pressure fuel rail codes. Guessing it’s time for a lift pump also 🤔
@@marcuscaesar851 if you don’t have a second alternator on your truck, you can put a CP3 in it’s place to feed the CP4. They make a kit for it. Then you have massive volume and pressure.
Man I’ve been trying to get one of these but I can’t find it. I’ve been looking for a few months now and it use to say out of stock but now I don’t see it at all except for the older trucks. I have a 2019 and nothing is listed on their website for my year. Any idea on what’s going on?
Yup, he should delete this video completely if the kit is no longer available. I'm guessing the companies who make these parts decided it is more profitable to sell the entire pump than just the kits.
I contacted Warren Diesel and they said the first part of the year it will be available again. Just be ready if you want it.
@@mcorley187 I hope that's true. I just spent 4k on the 80mm ball turbo, intake and CAC piping, and I need more fuel. But I can't afford a good lift pump and $2-3k hpfp setup.

What about the fact the CP4 pump is crap and eats itself…. My 2017 is at Ford right now with a $15,000 bill coming at the end. The pump is crap I wouldn’t spend a penny on upgrades…. It only has 88k miles on it…. Not a happy camper.
