i have a question , do you have to mount the tv directly on the stud nail it’s self or can i just mount it on the stud frame

You need to mount it in the center of the stud.

I opened the box of this mount and saw like 9 pouches of a ton of different screws and wondered how hard this was gonna be. Kinda funny it only took 2 screws from the pouches.
