- The drama surrounding street vendors in San Francisco's Mission District continues and area residents are getting fed up. Da Lin reports. (12-3-23)
The reason why there’s no food traffic probably at the new place probably because it’s monitored. The criminals are afraid of being exposed.
Why do we need vendors in our city and we’ve stores where they steal goods and sells on the streets. We need police at night 16th and 24th streets. Vendors are selling at night. I was shocked to vendors selling meat from Safeway’s last night. Pathetic situation!
Street vendors are a blight. Designated marketplaces for licensed sellers is great. Otherwise, they're just criminals. They are not just selling goods, they are watching for opportunities for crime and, fencing, and giving cover to criminals. They warn gangs when police are coming, provide hiding places and or tip off criminals to opportunities for theft.
Stop walking around there stay out and stop buying meat from the streets lol😅
@@BlueTickCH criminals have invaded our city. Now we’ve ghost city where all stores have closed down!
Sad!
Have permits visable. Period. No permit or found with stollen goods, then confiscate and arrest. Be tough.
Prosecute. Confiscate and arrest then
El Salvador 🇸🇻 is taking the vender off the streets and the city looks beautiful the vender were there for years and took over the streets what is going on here sf 😢😢😢
Mexico city did it too. A designated market space is the only way to go.
Idk dice el gabacho 😢😂
Maybe some high profile arrests will do the trick.
I’ve been out to 24th a few times after dark to grab burritos, and it’s scarier than being in the giant slums of Guatemala.
Almost all stolen goods...and kpix with a bleeding heart😂😂😂
Yep poopertino is the grossest place ever , straight grosso style.
All SF needs to do is partner w/BART officials to activate the surface & lower level BART stations for vendors w/spaces, meanwhile implement enforcement.
These vendors margin are probably not great. I dont know if the city would not be able to make very much revenue off them so it’s probably not worth the investment.
I thought bart after covid was gonna let Vendor sell inside bart station like in Japan.
I like it free customers courtesy BART
People who have crossed the southern border will need affordable/low-income housing. And they will also need an easy way to make a living. This is the same problem faced by many developing countries. One easy way for the people who live in the low-income housing to make a living is to allow them to become street vendors. Street vendors also provide affordable goods and services for the low-income people. Politicians who encourage and allow border crossing should have already known this.
Rise up and overthrow the dictator government. Stop letting them push you around. Take a lesson from the French.

He's one of those zoomers/techies... playing NIMBY.
3RD WORLD !
He said 24th and Cap street, that dude is based.
To bad it's dry out by 24th and cap now. They are definitely not out there at night lady's of the night
Yeh because street vendors are the problem in SF😂🙄
Vendor are old people
It’s funny how the illegals just mocked the city’s idiotic guidelines and just moved to the next street 😂
You illegal too
Good for the vendors. No one else follows the city’s stupid rules around here.
Democrat Utopia….
Pay taxes or go back to Mexico already!
There's people from different countries including America, that work on that street. Dude, what are we in, 1990s racism? 😂
You are ignorant
@@raulingaverage just get out bro and or follow proper protocol and rules. No one likes illegal vendors 💡
@GruneD I like them but I don't like you
Boo hoo not enough room to walk … how about trying to make a living to pay rent
So laws should be ignored because of feelings? That's how the city got into this nightmare to start with.
With the amount of tents in SF taking up sidewalk space how is someone doing business suddenly a problem?
I WANT THAT SANTA!!!!!❤❤❤
Dam Mexicans 😊
Clean the 💩 in your city that i pay taxes for loser!
Jack the bipper.
Literally stolen goods market. Shut down all street vending, that will reduce robbery’s. And yes there are legitimate small business sellers that will be shut down but blame the criminals not the city. Bad apple ruins the bunch
