- I had thought I lost this lighter many years ago. Recently, I was moving my storage unit and found it tucked away in a box of things from my youth. Needless to say, I am very excited to have found it and can not begin to tell you the stories this little piece of brass brings back to mind...

It definitely is in great shape for how long I had used in in my youth. The hinge is actually pretty tight yet as well. Better than most modern Zippos, lol. It blew my mind that I found it in my storage unit!

I was smiling for about a week, maybe a little longer🙂, after I found it. 😁 I seriously thought it was gone forever.
Where did you find it?
Well, four years ago, I went through a bad breakup after a twelve year relationship. I ended up moving almost everything I owned into a storage unit very rapidly. I had thought it was left behind when I moved. This past June, the storage unit owner asked if I would swap units with them. (Giving me three months of free unit storage for doing so) While moving everything from one unit to the other, I was also going through stuff I hadn't seen in almost four years. In one of the bins, I found an old wooden box that I used to keep things in, and there it was.
