Neville's parents are not dead. They are in St Mongos the wizard hospital. They were tortured with the crusiatous (spelling) curse, until they were insane.
Bellatrix Lestrange, her husband, and Barty Crouch, Jr. did it. That is why they were in Azkaban.
Cruciatus is the spelling i think.
Things in The Order of the Phoenix novel that are not in the movie;
Mrs. Fig is a Squib (a person born from a wizarding family but unable to do magic) who was Harry's neighbor for many years. She was even mentioned often throughout the book series. But Harry never knew that Mrs. Fig is actually part of the wizarding community.
Harry actually found out about Hagrid being a half giant by mistake during Goblet of Fire. Hagrid's biological mother, Fridwulfa is a giant. Hagrid's father was a wizard. Grawp is Hagrid's brother by way of their giant mother.
Ron's brother, Percy had a falling out with the Weasley family. He never believed Harry's story about Voldemort's return and was on the side of the Minister of Magic.
Neville's parents are very much alive and are permanent patients at Saint Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies. Because of all the torture that Bellatrix, her husband and Barty Crouch Junior inflicted on them they are mentally damaged. While visiting Mr. Weasley in the hospital Harry, Ron and Hermione come across Neville and his grandmother and was able to meet Neville's parents.
The Weasley twins weren't expelled. They quit school. When Harry won the Tri Wizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire he gave his winnings to the twins. Harry originally tried to give it to Cedric's father but he refused to take it. As a result of Harry giving it to the twins Fred and George started using the money to start a side business and made Harry as a secret investor and silent partner. That is why the twins kept inventing all sorts of magical practical joke sweets throughout Order of the Phoenix.
When the Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny and Luna flew the Thestrals the majority of them couldn't see what it was they were flying. Earlier in the school year they did learn about Thestrals in Magical Beasts class when Hagrid introduced them to the students. Those who had witnessed death had no trouble seeing them. But the rest couldn't and all they saw was raw meat being devoured by some invisible entities. When the group flew the Thestrals it was as if they were flying on thin air. They can feel the animals but couldn't see them.
In the end of the book when Harry talks to Dumbledore in his office, Dumbledore reveals that the prophecy actually came from Professor Trelawney and it was he who witnessed Professor Trelawney make prophecy while she was in a trance. The prophecy was;
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."
Dumbledore said that two babies were born at the end of July. Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. Though the prophecy fit Neville just the same as Harry because Neville's parents also defied Voldemort three times, it was Harry that Voldemort chose to kill instead of Neville. It is believed that Voldemort chose Harry because Harry's mother was a muggleborn. Neville's parents are purebloods.
During the last evening at Hogwarts Harry desperately runs to the ghost of Nearly Headless Nick and tries to talk to him about Sirius possibly coming back as a ghost. But Nick tells Harry that the only reason why Nick is a ghost residing at Hogwarts is because he refused to move on to the beyond. He refused to let go and wanted to remain. Nick explained to Harry that Sirius moved on.

Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying.
When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman.

One of the things that you have to keep in mind is that the students were not alive when Voldemort was in power, last time. They have absolutely no frame of reference for how bad the situation is about to get because the Ministry is acting like Harry is crazy, and Harry, due to his PTSD from what happened in the graveyard is unwilling to set the record straight. From his end, it's understandable why he doesn't want to talk about how Cedric got murdered. But, it certainly would have helped his case to get the students on his side, months ago by just telling them what happened.
The part where harry says to umbridge i must not tell lies when she was being dragged away by the centaurs will forever be the most satisfying moment in the whole franchise.

They didn't do anything to her besides terrorizing her and giving her trauma because Dumbledore saved her.
Cedric and Cho were together before the dance. If you pay attention to the scene when Cedric gets picked from the goblet of fire, he kisses her cheeks as he walks by her to go to the trophy room.

@@hasicazulatv2078it was half blood Prince he didn’t like. He was struggling with his drinking at the time so he wasn’t happy with performance. There’s a few scenes where you can see that he’s pretty dead in the eyes and just not present in the scene at all. He’s been adamant that he did not drink at work, but he would often drink late into the night so sometimes he would arrive to set still feeling drunk. When you pay close attention; there’s quite a few scenes where you can see that just not in the right headspace.

1:12:45 Fun Fact: Daniel Radcliffe's (Harry's actor) Grandma passed away the morning the same day before shooting this scene, and the muted scream was a genuine reaction to hearing the news. Dan was in soo much pain from losing his grandma, and he was soo emotional during that scene. He started crying for real, and he had to take a break before continuing to shoot. And it was also so painful for everyone to hear that scream. Everyone started to cry, but the actors who played Hermione and Bellatrix were crying the most. In the end, they decide to keep the scene but mute the audio due to how gut wretching the scream was

Mrs. Figg who at the beginning of the film she is a "Squib" ( born in wizard parents but no have magical powers) They usually live in our world, the muggle world. And Dumbledore gave her the task of spying on Harry.
And the two Dementors at the beginning were sent by Umbridge to attack Harry

My sister and I made it a tradition at the time to see all the Harry Potter movies in theaters opening night. It was amazing, definitely a franchise to watch on a huge theater screen.
Ron and hermione are prefects this year, and dumbledore didnt make harry one so he didnt have more stress on his plate because hes already going through so much. Harry was actually really jealous he wasnt made a prefect.

Judging from Umbridge's expression when Harry mentioned Voldemort, I suspect she was nervous about people believing him. Fudge's delusions gave her authority over the school.

Bellatrix did not kill nevilles parents she tortured them to the point of madness and they are in a magic hospital.
Imelda Staunton killed the role of Umbridge. I sincerely hope she hasn’t had any bad incidents with fans over the character she played so damn well.
You cannot block the Avada Kedavra and a counter-curse doesn't exist. The only way to escape that is to dodge it. Btw Tom is no match to Albus, the duel in the book is another thing, even Bellatrix was a little scared.

It's almost a rite of passage for HP fans to despise Umbridge; some fans say she's even worse than Voldemort. This is my favorite movie of the saga mainly bc of Sirius and Harry's talk about each person having both light and dark inside, as well as Harry telling Voldemort that he feels sorry for him. The life lessons in this movie hit hard.
And yeah you heard correctly that Cedric and Cho did date after the Yule Ball. When she got together with Harry they dated for awhile but eventually Harry broke up with Cho because she was still grieving Cedric. Harry basically realized that the only reason she was dating him was to try to learn more about Cedric and that he was essentially her rebound relationship so she could get closure. Once he came to that realization Harry started getting frustrated with Cho only wanting to focus on the past and then ended it. Although it is pretty messed up that Cho did that to Harry I remind myself that they are only teenagers and trying to process everything that's happened led to bad choices.
When i first seen harry say "i feel sorry for you" i was like "YAS HARRY EFF THAT SNAKE LOOKIN BISH" 🤣

No one saw them flying through because in the books it was explained that Moody had put a dissolutionment charm on them to make them unnoticeable.
The building, Grimmauld Place, which is the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix is under a spell that places something/someplace as a secret - unperceivable to everyone - within a person. That person becomes what is known as the Secret Keeper. It is how the Potters tried to go into hiding when Voldemort got to them. The only reason Voldemort got to them, was that Peter Pettigrew was their Secret Keeper. Peter talked his friend circle (Lupus, Sirius and Lilly and James) into letting him be the secret keeper instead of Sirius because he rationalized it that Sirius would be the obvious choice for Secret Keeper and no one would suspect him. He was really in Lord Voldemort's pocket and as soon as the secret was entrusted to him, he went and told Voldemort. If the Secret Keeper shows someone, the enchantment is unveiled to them and say the potters hiding in a house was the secret - once unveiled, Voldemort could then see the house. So while Headquarters was always there - it wasn't until Moody gave the secret to Harry, that it was revealed to his eyes. Also whoever the secret is given to, in turn, becomes a Secret Keeper themself. That will be important to remember in a later movie

There are not "humans" and wizards. They are all humans. There are muggles and wizards. Both Harry's parents were magical but his mother's parents were not and thus Harry is considered "half blood" although that wouldn't be correct, technically. Voldemort is a "real" half blood because his father was a muggle, a person without magic skills.

Everyone hates Umbridge. Most of us hate her more than any other person in the HP universe.
I can tell you now that the reason Harry has to return to the Dursleys for at least a short time every summer is because he's protected there. Dumbledore extended Lily's protection to make Harry safe from Voldemort as long as he's living with someone who carries Lily's bloodline. Unfirtunately her sister Petunia Dursley was the only adult relative of Lily's still living. Until he no longer considers her house his home or Harry turns 17 Voldemort can't reach him there.
The "eye dude" is Moody. You were drooling over Nympadora Tonks referred to as Tonks. 😂 She's an auror not a teacher. I was lmao at you saying *Moody* was hot when I knew Moody was the guy from last year and not the person you were hot for. 😂😂😂
Tonks is a metamorphmagus who can change her appearance at will..as you saw at the dinner table. Lol.
Lucius Malfoy and the other Death Eaters are still moving around freely because the Minister Of Magic refuses to accept that Voldemort is back. That's why they keep making up stories infering that Harry is either a liar or crazy.
Umbridge isn't working for or with Voldemort. She's just an evil, nasty, tyrannical woman who hates anyone or anything not fully wizard. She looks at muggleborns the same as Voldemort and the Malfoys but she's not aligned with them.
Poor Harry is dealing with PTSD, survivor's guilt, being called a liar or crazy, being tortured by Umbridge, Voldemort running around in his head and being kept in the dark on top if being a moody 15 year old.
I hate how one sided the movies made it between James Potter and Snape. They were both constantly jinxing each other do Snape was no innocent victim.
We found out in the book before this that Hagrid was half giant because Rita Skeeter overheard a private conversation and wrote the story in the newspaper. We just didn't meet his half-brother Grawp until this book.
Fred & George caused a lot more chaos for Umbridge in the book before they left Hogwarts. 😂
Harry's mom was a muggleborn witch just like Hermione and his dad was a wizard. The only reason they call Harry a Half-blood is because his mom was muggleborn and not a "pureblood" like his father.
What was Severus suppose to do when James and his dumb friends bullied him for the whole 7 years of Hogwarts. Fight back!!! Remember it was mostly three or four against one. Of course Remus Lupin had no backbone so he really did not bully Snape like the others did.
@@lillywhitehands yu don't think Snape's little future Death Eater friends weren't in on it? Lily even called Snape out about the horrible things his friends were doing.
Plus even Sirius admitted that while Lupin didn't always try to stop them (implying that he *did* try) that he never participated and I seriously doubt that Pettigrew had the balls to do anything. I won't go into other reasons because it involves spoilers for other movies if the guys read this.
@@toodlescae I respect your feelings on that matter, but I just do not like bullies. I will bet anything that if the Marauders had stopped bullying Snape, he would have let them alone. Also I cannot forget that Snape did make the wolfbain potion for Remus every month.

It’s why his friendship with Lily was destroyed cos he called her a mud blood and she had defended him for years even though she didn’t like the person he was becoming.
