This is a tough one for me, on one hand I could purge the pair and keep the funds / inventory moving, on the other, I could keep this one... :-)

@DiscerningMan Yeah, I hear ya. It's really tough to let some of the great ones go though.
The design is nice, but it was definitely designed with the choke up spot as the primary position. I think if I was looking for something that is froward capable too, I'd probably get the Vosteed Mini Nightshade.
Yes, the grip on the scales behind the finger guard works kinda OK on this piece,,, but, I would say the instinctual primary grip, is choked up on the blade.. meh.
Do yourself a favor and remove that flipper! Incredible ergos! My FAV detent of any knife i own, love the strength it deploys with! Got the green and satin model too and swapped blades. Satin model is not such a strong detent but much smoother, butter smooth.
I did have that same squeek on mine, it wore out after a short time of fidgeting.
And yes, a forward choil is a olis for me, and this is kne of the best along sith the Spyderco PM2/3
Good review and disassembly video, not a fan of this smaller version, don't like the hollow grind or swedge on the spine.
LOVE this hollow ground blade!!! Favorite blade I own TBH.
