Wonderful review of a great knife and yes contoured scales would be the cherry on top but as it sits this is a great knife. I really like the fact that it is NOT in D2, like everything else these days, that alone is worth a few extra dollars to me. Again, thanks for the review.
i agree, i'm so tired of d2!😂 i saw so many neat looking knives in the past, then is saw that they were in d2 and skipped them immediately. really glad kizer is using 154cm, it's my favourite ingot steel by far👍
The detent even on my green one is extremely stiff, it's hard to reverse flick but doable. Definitely wish it had contoured micarta. I like the way the honeycomb looks but it's aggressive. Unfortunately the set screw on my flipper tab stripped out trying to remove it. Waiting to hear from Kizer support.
I just got mine today. It’s really fun to fidget with but I’m afraid of that thin blade breaking. Was hoping it came with a little case and everything but ah well. I can spidey flick it no problem & have large mits. I hope this little guy serves me well. I plan to use the hell out of it
Can't wait to get my mini Roach. I ordered mine directly from China since that was the first that have them that shipped cheap to EU. Are the body screws T6 or T8 by the way? I really hope they do a premium titanium version of it and maybe a micarta version with a 4V blade, since it seem like a great working knife. So would be good to have a steel with some edge toughness on it.
Unfortunately they used T6 on the Body screws and clip we only have T8 on the Pivot. A premium version would be awesome and I’m sure if it’s as popular as I think it will be then I’m sure they will make several different versions. Let’s hope so 👌

Great vid Stassa23….I have the green one and I also took off the flipper, it just feels better to me without it. I agree with you 100% on the contoured Micarta scales!!! If they had this knife with the same scale set up as the red Towser K it would be next level 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Yep that’s the knife I was thinking about when I was talking about that since I have both versions and the red Micarta one is so much more comfortable 👌
Bummer about the reverse flick issue on the black blade. Do your think maybe a light polish with Flitz would free up that issue? Agree about more contour on the scales.Wish it had a lanyard option too.
Now that the review is done I will add a very slight ramp coming out of the hole with a diamond needle file , that’s the only thing that I’ve found to work on the Kizer’s ever since they started using the larger detent balls. I actually put a very slight one on the green one after the video 👌

I think they should've used the richlite that they used on the Towser. It feels better and still has the patterned design.
I like the blue Richlite but I would really love some contoured Micarta like on the red TOWSER 👌🍻
