This live version actually sounds better than the recording. This is one of the best performances I have ever seen. Saw him perform several times over the years. Great show.

What a GREAT song.. I remember listening to this song on the car radio parked in the middle of a fresh cut 42 acres both doors open,
at about midnight with a NEW girlfriend New Car and some love making along the way.....This song just fits that time... Those were the days..
So sad that he is gone now. What a treasure. Of all the hits B.J. had through his career, I love this song the best. A great song. The beautiful vocal and easy feeling of the song paints such a beautiful picture.

Since B.J's passing, I have been searching all over UA-cam for videos of him singing and I found this. What a beautiful voice!! I am still grieving his passing! I have watched this video over and over and I just LOVE it!! BTW, it looks as if at one point close to the end of the song he says, "Play it, Paul." Who is the electric keyboard player in this video??!!! Does anyone know for sure?
