That’s a good eye! The unit is made for MDC through a partnership with Tuson. What has your experience been with the system on your camper? I’d really like to know!
@@PrincessCraft I really like mine, I installed it myself and then took it out on a deserted road and tested it by trying to make it sway and it would just follow my movements in the truck. I've been recommending this product on my Facebook groups ever since and think it's something every camping trailer should come with! 😊
@ToddStoddard that lines up very well with what we’ve heard from other users. I’ve been pushing to install these in PJ’s personal trailers to “prove my suspicions” to those with questions still lurking in the corners here.
MDC16HR owner. This setup with my tow vehicle is ok.. but I'm still looking for a mechanical anti-sway system. Any on-road solutions like the traditional anti-sway systems that work with this trailer? I can pull over and disconnect when I head offroad.
I have heard it only activates when extreme sway occurs. This makes me wonder if anyone has had enough sway testing to even activate it. Or is it all placebo?
Even a little sway makes most people uncomfortable. A little sway indicates potential for a lot of sway. If it only activates in extreme scenarios, it isn’t likely to have both been brought to market a number of years ago and also to have remained available to consumers through the present day. It would be interesting to see the sample sizes for those who have good and bad reporting, and to verify both proper installation and function of the units where users have had negative experiences.

This looks just like the Tuson sway control system I install on my camper 3 years ago. 😊

UA-cam has a good number of user videos available for more insight, if you’re interested in a deeper dive.
I've tested it on my camper and it works flawlessly, the only way I know it was working was the indicator light starts flashing when it's working. 😊
