Awesome video, wish I was closer to you Kurt so you could hook that gizmo up to my 74 Targa and see where it’s at. Runs good but everything was set up by me using your videos but no CO meter.
Vry methodically 1977 porsche targa cutting up problem diagnosed changing swollen O ring pitty much fix it & improving Amps of fuelpump helped alot vry wonderful clean burn even not having catalytic converter emissions of HC100 wid help of cis fuel injection pioneer of such clean emissions unfathomable to imagine such clean burn off 48years old car only legend of Porche which never compromise on emissions performance efficiency & ofcourse proverbial reliability
Yes, all of these old cars are capable of clean burning emissions. Things like Catalytic convertors, air pumps, and other emission control devices are only there to compensate for lack of regular maintenance. Kurt
Another amazing job. I have a 76' 911S that idles fine at 1K RPM, but many times is slow to get up to speed in 1st gear. Car sputters a bit as if the engine/trans aren't in sync. Every other aspect of the car is fine once it starts moving. Is there anything a backyard mechanic such as myself can do without your specialized equipment other than a timing light & dwell meter to check to see that the car is running properly? Thx mate. -J
At the bare minimum, I would look at fuel pressures and all the other basic engine checks of mechanical condition, ignition condition, and operation. However, once you have done that, you will need to find a shop with a gas analyzer to set up the fuel mixtures. As you can see from this video, even a minimal change in fuel pressures will result in a big change in mixture settings. Kurt

Yes the gas analyzer is a key step. I would highly recommend finding a shop in your area that can make those adjustments for you.

Much appreciated. Thx you!
Hi from the uk England 🏴👍
Thanks for watching,

Hello! What fuel conditioner do you prefer, and how often should I add two stroke oil? Thanks Happy Holidays!
Hi Chuck,
I use Stabil as a fuel preservative. I would add 2 stroke oil every three or four tanks.
