- I bring you guys along during the dash removal, radio removal, new stereo install, new speaker install, and putting the dash back together.

This truck is Baby Yota, a 1992 Toyota Pickup. These same or similar instructions should work for 1989 - 1995 Toyota Pickup, Hilux, & 4Runner.

Thank you for this, just installed an android auto stereo with a backup camera on my 93 Toyota pickup and this took the guesswork out of taking my dash apart.

@@shaanrakhra5483 I don't have a factory bumper, I mounted it under the trailer hitch. The camera came to 3M tape and just use it
So i just got a 95 tacoma. It seems that its just like yours with the 4” speakers under the dash. Sucks cause I was hoping I could install some on the side door panels lol.

@@bradleybarringer thanks, stereo was changed and but the radio is missing something so it doesn’t work. GNs is aux and bluetooth

Hey man do you have the link to the radio you bought? Also, did you have to measure your old radio before you ordered the new one to make sure it fit?
The 0ne I got is discontinued on amazon but it's just a standard single din. Had to mess with the brackets to get it to fit but the single din fit
Dude 4:58 can you tell us about wich Toyota stock wireless need to be connected with these one ot the universal color, ( I mean, the equivalent of the toyota wireless to the universal)

It's probably about the same. I found a wiring diagram online, it might be good to check for one for 1990

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's not a Hilux, still a sweet old truck.
Technically you're totally right! But only because mine was sold in the U.S. which makes it a 'Toyota Pickup' but in other areas of the world this same truck would be called a Hilux or even Volkswagen Taro.
