Video games & technology in general has:
    -Increased my typing speed
    -Advanced my multi tasking skills
-GREATLY improved my vocabulary, grammar, and overall knowledge
    -Improved my reaction time
    -Greatly improved my Hand-Eye coordination
-Decreased my chances to get overwhelmed during a lot of pressure
And this is all in a span of 8 years. It’s really worthwhile to play video games, but to also keep yourself healthy.

Actually, i really have to thank multiplayer games for pushing me to type better
I don't use periods, because it seems bizarre to have more than one sentence in one line (Which is what i'm avoiding right now)
Which may actually be tied to how i usually type in multiplayer games, there's not really a need for a period because once you've finished a sentence you typically hit enter
And doing that here (i press shift+enter for anything that isn't a game)
Makes me type in a more vertical fashion, which i like and find easier to read because the end of a sentence is much more distinct
It's also inspired by game consoles, type one command in one line, hit enter (Usually, sometimes i have to put multiple in one line with the help of ; or use cfg. files with an exec command)
      Also
I spend way too much time in game consoles...
(Also yeah, i don't always make proper sentences and i don't always capitalize, but that's just human error)

I think that playing the Sims made me a good organiser and when events or small partys are held it's usually me that provides things that you need in order to be able use them (like batterys for the additional controller and such). Also it helped to develope my thinking for the things that I want and if I should get them because I want them and theyre useful and are going to be used or if I just want them without needing it since I already treatet myself already a few times to something yummy and so on.

I've recently started randomly playing console video games again at 36 years old, after not playing them for probably over 20 years. I play iOS games randomly on my phone and iPad, but never for more than a couple minutes a day, if that. Heading back into video games again recently, it feels like I'm exercising the puzzle-solving/strategy/memory regions of my brain again. So the timing of this video is bizarrely accurate for me, whoaaaaa.

Cartoons My Man I’d disagree. In social media you have your whole identity out there, and it’s meant to socialize and interact with people, mostly by judging and commenting and posting about yourself or whatever. The purpose of social media is literally just to socialize, nothing more than that. And even that socializing aspect is mostly comprised of looking at pictures of other people and pretending to care about what they say. In gaming, while it doesn’t require any social interaction, is all about enjoying yourself and having fun. That can mean with or without many people, and has no ties whatsoever to your real identity, because that’s not what matters, unlike social media. Not to mention that gaming is a much more interactive activity than using social media, much like how it’s more interactive than watching tv/ movies. Imo, you can socialize better with another person playing games with them and learn more about each other than you would just on social media
*TL;DR*: social media is meant for socializing at a superficial level using your true identity.
Gaming doesn’t require any social interaction or true identity. Its purpose is enjoyment and fun, but can still be more interactive at a social level than social media.

While studying in Denmark, I participated in a study with VR and measuring brain activity. One of the observed result of this research was that if a mind-controlled game forces you to focus in some way, it changes your brain, and by testing a lot, they found that they could cure PTSD (to completely disappear), will be used for Danish veterans pretty soon I think.

I was driving 55mph and an oncoming vehicle turns left into my lane, without having enough distance between us. They slammed the brakes and were left open for a T-Bone Collision, right in the middle of my lane. I had no time to slam the brakes, partly because I was driving a 1996 Plymoth Caravan; and the brakes weren't in the best shape. I had to react quickly, I could hear my family screaming and I could also see two people in the other car, frantically waving in front of them, where there was just enough distance for me to squeeze into. Ignoring all the panic and city laws, I gently steered into the small space between the enemy vehicle and two trashcans by their driveway. Thanks to my quick reactions, there was no damage to either car or passengers. We were all on the way to trade in the Minivan to get a new family car...I feel like gaming saved my life.

The one thing that they hadn't mentioned in the video that I was most curious about is how gaming effects the part of the brain that deals with communication with other human beings, such as how well gamers can read body language, read facial expressions, hold a conversation and read others emotions. I know there is more to connecting with people then what I listed, but I still would have liked to see their findings on that area of the brain and how gamers and non gamers compare to each other socially.

The results of continuing research on how gaming affects the brain in regard to social communication are still preliminary. However, some research has indicated that playing video games, even those that encourage social interaction, may help develop some social skills. According to one study, playing video games, especially ones that encourage social interaction, can help players become more adept at reading and interpreting nonverbal clues like body language and facial expressions.
According to a different study, playing video games can help players become more adept at identifying and comprehending the emotions of others. Furthermore, some studies contend that playing video games can enhance a player's capacity for conversation and communication in general. It's crucial to remember, too, that excessive gaming can have a detrimental impact on social life by isolating users and reducing in-person connections. Players must strike a balance between gaming and other pursuits, such as spending time with friends and family.
Overall, additional study is required to completely comprehend how gaming affects social communication abilities and how they differ between players and non-players.

theres a company out there that if you pay them, $20 an hour, they will play, and unlock any achievement obtain any item, beat any boss, etc for any game, and then hand the game back to you when they are done.
