Of course, always glad to hear people appreciate hearing them and tons more that needed to be edited when I have time and resources. And hopefully with Paintball History dot com I can eventually transition into more videos and history and less e commerce.
We have another two videos that will be up in the next few months. One with Ray Gong and Bud where they talk about Top Gun and legalizing paintball in New Jersey and another where Bud shows his first Sniper and talks a little about it. Thanks for watching!
Great video. I played with the doom troopers In Orlando Fla. Back in late 80s. Russel Breedan was captain. My first marker was a Sniper 2. When Bud offered the conversion to semi auto, I was one of first in Fla to get it converted.
Bravo sir! That historic interview was a Ten out of Ten . Very well done , and of course the the range of topics covered , the fluid nature of fame driven design , just phenomenal , you Sir are the “Bald and Bankrupt” of everything paintball . Too bad there wasn’t a Soviet corollary to (Western) NorthAmerican Paintball Action Pursuit Games , Or maybe there was , dunno , thank you for the content and the dedication , wow just wow.
Bro, I know him personally, my father is Irving Hamilton he introduced to Jones goggle to the sport. This guy is a good guy. He gave me the very first auto Cocker off the line for my birthday.
If the serial is 1073 this it's likely a Minicocker or a Sniper 1 converted to an Autococker. Send me a photo at historyofpaintball@gmail.com and I will take a look. Thanks
Hey this is coming out of nowhere but can I get the dimensions for a Desert Duck? I’m thinking about 3D modeling it for others that don’t have one. Please help.
A few people have mentioned they will be modeling one soon. I don't have a Duck easily accessible but I am sure there are paintballers on MCB who would love to help with the project! Thanks!
The original style that Bud made was aluminum and unfortunately I don't know anyone who sells them new today. Others had them molded out of plastic but as Bud explained, the plastic holes sizing wasn't always correct to allow the proper venting, causing some of the plugs to come loose and break the balls.
Just amazing, one of the fathers of modern Paintball. It's too bad that the companies don't act like that anymore. Just got greedy(SP), and wanted to make money and monopolize the industry. wish it was like that still.........
I wanted this rifle so I could get perspectives of both Bud and Glenn Palmer. You can find one of the two videos we did with Glenn talking about this rifle at this link: ua-cam.com/video/dFGk4S3FqCU/v-deo.html And to be clear, Bud is not talking about the example shown. He is talking about Matt Brown's (owner of Taso) example. He is saying this pneumatic system was the first he has seen. In Glenn's video above he discusses pros and cons of this system (mostly cons). Thanks!
I kept asking Bud if he needed to leave since he mentioned he had plans later in the day but he kept saying he was gonna stay longer. He loves talking about this stuff! Thanks!
Glad you were able to get this interview with Bud. I used to play at SC in early 90’s . Rented a cocker then got hooked and had to buy my own. This man is a true legend. Thank you
Some similarities but if you go by looks alone, many are similar to the wood stalk, the Jofama, the Scott and the AGD mask made for PMI which would all be mid 80s to 1987 or so. Thanks!
im so glad this interview exists in the ether for all of future time to look back on. incredible man he is and so awesome to hear his insights
Here he is. The creator of the hottest gun on earth. And its a Paintball gun. Americans are amazing people. Greetings from Germany.
What a legend! Thanks for documenting this BacciPaintball.
Wouldn't be able to keep the enthusiasm going for this stuff without friends like you Paul!
He's a great guy my wife and I talked with him for a while at a paintball game this spring
Thank you for this awesome interview. We love Bud!!! The good ol days were the beginning of paintball for me.
Thanks for this Bacci! Bud is a living Legend!
He is for sure a Living Legend, a true innovator! Thanks!
Thank you for giving us these history lessons Bacci and Bud.

I'm excited in three days I look forward to the happy birthday on my Facebook from this legend lol
I'm happy to see someone cataloging the history of paintball.
One of the best vids ever! Thanks
Haha awesome!
A true Legend. Thank you for that interesting Interview!
Thanks Karl! Bud has so much great information and and once you get him started he just wants to keep sharing the history!
A lot of your videos about Paintball’s history are literally better than the documentary that came out.
One of the gods of paintball.. Epic interview.
Great stories. Hope to see more interviews with him.
We have another two videos that will be up in the next few months. One with Ray Gong and Bud where they talk about Top Gun and legalizing paintball in New Jersey and another where Bud shows his first Sniper and talks a little about it. Thanks for watching!
great video, thanks to all!
Thanks Andy!
What a good guy Bud has been, can you imagine sitting in on the brains storm sessions all the OG’s had at Three Rivers back in the day?
This, plus the interview Wolf did with him, are so awesome.
Also a great interview! Thanks! Any information from Bud and other early innovators in Paintball are really important to keeping these stories known!
Great video. I played with the doom troopers In Orlando Fla. Back in late 80s. Russel Breedan was captain. My first marker was a Sniper 2. When Bud offered the conversion to semi auto, I was one of first in Fla to get it converted.

Maybe in the future, I am down for any videos I can do but as with everything I do (selling, videoing, articles) I am always behind. Thanks John!
the good ol days when paintball companies didnt sue each other but instead helped each other out lol
you mentioned APG? Action Pursuit Games?? wow man those were the days
Yes, I am referencing the Magazine, Action Pursuit Games. Thanks!
I have my autococker white a serial number 1073 ,any idea somebody from what year it is .
I have it from 96
If the serial is 1073 this it's likely a Minicocker or a Sniper 1 converted to an Autococker. Send me a photo at historyofpaintball@gmail.com and I will take a look. Thanks

Is there anyone who sells or makes that style of barrel plug nowadays that you know of?

That mask looks very much like my Empire Events.
I see they stole the idea/concept/mask.....
Some similarities but if you go by looks alone, many are similar to the wood stalk, the Jofama, the Scott and the AGD mask made for PMI which would all be mid 80s to 1987 or so. Thanks!

I have a 1/10 Bud Orr karnivor
this video makes me dizzy.
Spartan805 I know, the stabilizing looks good at first but as you stare at the background it gets a little wack.
