- This project has been very gratifying. As many of you who follow might know, more is more in my book. I love using as many plants as possible in most of my designs but this one was different. My client did not want a busy landscape. I am so pleased with the outcome. The ribbon rock of chunky cinder and 3/4 black burgundy lava rock add all of the interest. Each small grouping of succulents will continue to grow and knit together beautifully over time. There is a lot of space for this garden to mature. Thank you all for following along! Thank you to my amazing team and volunteer Laura! You are all rockstars!

It looks awesome and I love the way the cal-gold compliments the flagstone. It adds the right amount of depth and contrast to the garden. Excellent!

Love it when you put the icing on the cake and share the grand reveal. Really like the pedilanthus and the gold stones on both sides, it makes the space between the house and wall look so much wider and lighter. Home run team DFS !

Beautiful once again. You are so talented.
looks super lot of hard work went into this on
It turned out amazing, I'm so jealous of you having easy access to that yellow crassula ovata, it's SO hard to find where I live, all the ones I find turn red/green. 🤯☹
Came out spectacular as usual
Congratulations super beautiful 😍
Fabulous!!!!
Your the best !!😀👍👍
You are so wonderful!!!
Looks amazing well done team
Fantastic Job🤗🤗con crat
Yay!
Fantastic
You are correct about the dimensional variables in the scheme, it makes the garden. Without depth and dimension, its a waste of time and money.
I love all the plants and their placements - I don't like the masses of the black lava-maybe when they get a bit worn (or dusty?) they won't be so stark or drawing so much attention...
❤
Waiting for the grand reveal
Love everything about this design except the black lava rock. It just seems like too stark a contrast. It would have been better to use the red. Just my opinion. I do love the more controlled design.
Oh my gosh!!!!!!!
Beautiful project - no suprise. I am curious. Does a homeowner like this have a gardener to keep things clean and maintained? If they do, do you ever "train" them to properly care for your gorgeous installations? Or if not, what is done week to week, if anything - even carefree succulent gardens need some loving care - right? Thanks for any info you can procive! Love this one!
I recommend consistent deadheading, weed pulling and and detritus removal in between my once annual visits.
Many homeowners will take this on themselves, or have their gardeners do it.
👋😃
what kind of yellow gravel is that? I need to know!! 😆
