- After four days and help from five amazing crewmembers we have finished this succulent garden installation in Fountain Valley. We used 3 yards of California gold rock top dressing, 10 yards of soil, tons of boulders and even more plants. I used a little bit of burgundy lava rock to accent along with the dry streambed as well as spill into some of the other planting areas. I hope that this all inspires you to get out into your garden and look into drought tolerant water efficient options. Happy gardening and thank you for watching.
One of my very favorite installs. You knocked it out of the park!! Absolutely beautiful. Poor neighbors all lead Lawn lol.
Finally walked over to see this job - when I watched the video, I was thinking it was too busy, but in person, I thought it looked great! It’s a few miles from my house, so a perfect walk! Love it!😍
what is the cross street of this house? I live in fountain valley also and I want to redo my front yard as well

Hi Laura, another stunning garden. 👏👌😊
This is one of my favorite installs! Outstanding work!! So many different textures, varying heights, gorgeous plants, mounding, etc....so subtle yet absolutely STRIKING!! And the dry stream is Magnificent!! People will be driving by and taking pics of this landscape. Beautiful job again Laura & Team DFS ✨♥️

Love the fun Hannah😂😂 "Have you seen mom?"
The burgundy lava rock is stunning. It is so much nicer than the black that you have used in other installations.
Sieht toll aus ich bin begeistert 👍🌵
It turned out beautifully. Thanks for being an inspiration!
BEAUTIFUL WORK ♥️
This is my favorite install yet! The dry river looks amazing. I am in zone 7b in Georgia, so none of these plants would live here. I guess I get to live vicariously thru your videos. Great job! Love the shade area too.
STUNNING!!!!!!
The installation looks so magical lit up at night. The dry river bed looks amazing Hannah well done. Another great job by all in team DFS!
The gold with burgundy ribbons really pulls it together. Another DFS masterclass. Beautiful.
It’s crazy that a project like that only takes 4 days

Wow! I truly love the entire landscape, and the lights highlighting the landscape is super fabulous!
i just can't get over how amazing this is!!! love love love :)
Seu trabalho é maravilho, cada vez que assisto fico mais encantada com tanta beleza
The burgundy looks so much better as an accent, rather than having it everywhere. I do not like burgundy lava I guess. Actually, I hate it. Good job Laura and crew! You make my evening with these videos!
Gorgeous yard again!!❤️❤️❤️ I’m so jealous I can’t have something like that!!☹️☹️ l live in Louisiana so no such thing, but I can dream can’t I !! I haven’t seen Terry in a while, did I miss something??🤔🤔🤷♀️🤷♀️
Absolutely beautiful another great job under your belt! 👏👏👏❤️
Wow wow 🤩
Here in NoCA, my local rock yard has the multicolored burgundy mix. In 3/4 and 3/8. Love how it compliments my succulents with the variety of colors mixed.
Laura, when you complete one of these installs, do the clients neighbors ever ask you to do their yards? I'll bet you get new clients once they marvel at how lovely it looks.
What a great design scape 🌵You’ve done a wonderful job Team DFS! And Hannah’s video work is almost as good as her stunning dry river beds. I loved seeing snippets of what goes into the final day rock work 💕 And finally, I enjoyed how ya’ll addressed the “elephant in the room”, because that port-o-potty has been bothering me for days. I hope the house painters will be super diligent around your living art🤞🏽
TY
I love how you staged those low-growing succulents along the dry stream bed, just gorgeous!✨✨
Love it, so intricate and colorful
Beautiful installation u guys are rocking
Sooooo beautiful!!
from 0 to amazing
Mucho trabajo, muchos detalles realizados para que podamos disfrutar de todo un espectáculo agradable. Felicitaciones 😀👍🏽👏🏽
de acuerdo!
Thank you so much for your videos you have inspired me to build my own little garden outside my townhouse. I live in Miami so we have a super hot rainy season. on the other hand we have what I consider a better season now that it’s not raining and the temperatures have gone down a little meaning 70 to 80°. Do you have any suggestions for people growing succulents in tropical places? I noticed some of my succulents can tolerate the sun pretty well others get burned burned even after acclimating. What succulents are good for the sun and which ones are better for the shade? Also would be cool to hear a tip for people that don’t have big spaces to plant on the ground. and like I said plants that are extremely tolerant to the rain and the heat. Thank you keep The videos coming!!! Is there a way I can send you a video of my garden
@ 5:04, ''the client will be hand watering''. That'll be watering for much of the year, every week.
wonderful! What will happen with the parkway strip?
Is there risk of someone kicking the up light by the flag pole? Maybe a rock? BEAUTIFUL installation as usual!
Please help me understand. The dry riverbed with the largest rocks that nobody will walk on got a weed barrier to prevent sinking, but the actual foot-traffic pathway to the side gate with the little pebbles didn’t? Huh?
Can someone tell me why flies are so interested in my succulents? They leaves spots on the leaves, I don’t get why they’d want to bother them. Dang, they’re pests, very pesty. Is there some type of fragrance to the leaves/ plants or something???
Haven't seen you guys in a bit. But wow the neighbors are gonna be so jealous of this exotic garden🌵🪴...just added major value to this home! The other yards look soooo boring and dry 🙄
Who are the 5 people who didn’t like this video…my goodness 🙄
What do you use in your succulent / cactus 🌵 garden 🪴 to prevent weeds?
Elbow grease is what we use.
I’m embarrassed for the next door neighbours 🤭
Turned out nice but the editing in this video was off putting. Sound on. Sound off. Sound on. Sound off. Way overblown sound. We’re here for Laura. Feature her please and skip the annoying edits and other shrill voices.
