I finally got to catch up to your videos Steve, my work schedule has been nuts starting a new route!! The MT6 come out sweet, the Conrail shops had to torch those steps out and weld plate to modify them, what a job!!😂😂😂 My Brother in Law took me over to Elkhart yards and seen these bad boys in action, I wish I would have had a camera at the time, it was around 1987-88 time frame!! Awesome work!!!
Its a shame that only a few of the MT-6’s are still around these days. Do you happen to know what that hump in the walkway was for? Looks to be some sort of box but I have never heard exactly what for?
Thank you! I have a similar feeling with watching people rebuild engines! Its always interesting to see how they work and are rebuilt but I am definitely no mechanic! 😂
Excellent build!!! One thing to try for marker lights is Red fiber optic which they sell for bow hunting. Been tinkering with it for my n scale CR units.
Thank you! Ill have to hunt down some red fiberoptic cord for doing markers. I have been painting the lenses red with acrylic paint when needed and its been working decent but I always like to improve when I can.

Have u done a video on installing dcc??? And ditch lights???? I really like ur videos. Going to b adding u to my list. Thank u!!!! Love the build. Also trying things on my 3d printer too.
I have added dcc and ditch lights in a few of my videos but they are all part of much larger locomotive builds. I will be doing a few simpilar builds in the next month that will better show those individual parts. Gotta be fun messing with a 3D printer!
Thank you! When I purchased fiberoptic cord last it was from Ebay from a random seller. I don’t have a specific one to recommend but did find a few on there recently when I was looking for more.
Absolutely remarkable transformation Steve! Now I've got to find the tool for making the handrails, that's a must have. 👍
Thank you! The jig/tool for bending the Alco RS-11 front is available from KV Models and is listed with the rest of their Alco detail parts.

Another little gem 😊. Slugs and calfs, the red-headed stepchild of power fleet. Seldom modeled but nice to see you added one to your roster 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you!
My favorite slug. Beautiful slug Steve.
Thank you!!
Worked a few of these in conway humping trains. I believe there's one left! Hated that damn hump in the walkway! 😂

@ConrailSteve it was over some sort of something I never had time to really investigate it much!
I really have no desire to even try this, but I do enjoy watching your builds 🤠

Nailed it! I'm excited for mine!
Get those part’s together!!!!!
I love the creative use of an N scale ESU decoder for an HO install! 54650 Lokpilot Direct Micro?
Thank you! And Yes, it’s the only decoder I could find small enough to work well in the slug.
