Sure. Problem is, when we gave the old 343i 6+ years to cook, we were never told shit was in the pot. This isn't a time issue. It's a production issue. Halo Infinite could have released a year early and the game/current sentiment would largely remain unchanged. Infinite could have been delayed another two years and it still would have released as pathetically as it did in 2021.
Time isn't the issue. What's needed is for them to develop ideas/games that we, the consumer, actually want.
For example, let's say you really hate the taste of garlic and even a tiny bit ruins anything you're tasting. In this hypothetical, even the absolute best chef on Earth couldn't manage to have you taste garlic AND also like it. 343i tried to mask the flavor with Infinite, but everyone can still taste it, and everyone still hates it.

Its a pipedream, but what if they did a remake of the original trilogy into one huge game.
That is a possibility that HaloVFX heard about! But it will definitely involve Halo CE
If they were doing a full /remake/ then I'd like to see them modernize everything Bunjie had planned for CE through the end of H2, which would've included a lot of the story from H3. If they go from there as originally intended post-CE it'd probably still appeal to older fans and be fresh enough for new fans.

Now why do I sense 343 is doing Bethesda style title releases, and this "remake" will be made for "modern audiences" as well as microtransations to have things the OG Combat Evolved has.
The Remake is not going to bring me back, I still don't trust 343.

I have mixed feelings about not about it going to another platform but the fact that I don't trust 343 Industries my trust is not there with the company, because Halo infinite had its chance to be a great Halo game and 343 blew it. My warning to the PlayStation Community is don't trust everything 343 says many of us trusted 343 and we got burnt. Modern Halo multiplayer is okay but it is far from what it used to be considering that microtransactions have taken over the multiplayer aspect of Halo multiplayer.
343 is still going to screw it up again, I'm tired of their annoying microtransactions.💵🗑️👎
Imagine next year there is a Halo Direct (like COD has this year)
featuring a look at the multiple Halo games being worked on (Mainline, remake, spin-off ect.)
If it is revealed next year It is pretty much confirmed there will be a halo direct.

Tbh, I think putting Mcc in the playstation (never thought in my life writing such thing) isnt such an bad idea. They should not focusing porting Infinite too but atleast mcc and then focusing on the new Halo and CE remake
Should be much smoother since they are using Unreal… slip gate was a dated convoluted mess that know one new how to use… when they were contracting out it caused a lot of issues.

Who hasn't experienced Halo Combat Evolved??? The idea of releasing this as an introduction to ps makes no sense. We all have played Halo, at one point had an xbox, Literally all of us have.

I don’t want this. Halo CE has been played and beaten to death. We never got Halo 3 Anniversary and instead of a reboot, we’re getting this. It’s hard to get excited when I lived through it originally releasing, then it’s PC release, then it’s anniversary remake, then it’s relaunch in MCC and now another remake. Unless it’s heavily changed for a modern audience, I think I’ll pass.
There is a chance they are remaking Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3. But I respect your opinion and thank you for watching!

How else do you distance yourself from all of Frank O'Conner's lore? How else do you progress the franchise when every inch of Halo, post 1/3/11, has been tainted or imagined by Frank O'Conner.
You start over, retread Bungie's steps, and then diverge when the path is untraveled. I suspect this is how they'll quietly de-canonize all of Halo post 1/3/11 whereas Halo Cryptum was released 1/4/11.
I fear they are going to try and implement certain elements from the tv show into the remake of combat evolved. Sorry but no thank you. Leave combat evolved as is. There is a reason it did so well then and is still replayed so much now.

Why not release it on the Switch 2? To me that makes more sense then just releasing on PS.
