Mate, totally respect the mash up of original childhood figures with the Stan Solo stuff- for my money he’s producing the figures that resonate more with our childhood. Love it.
Love your Star Wars display, gives me some display ideas for my collection. I am all in on Stan Solo figures, but those pro customs look pretty nice too. I wasn't sure about them in other pictures I have seen online where the eyes look large or blotchy, but the ones in your collection look great. The display cases really help the collection shine with your nice set up and arrangement of figures.
Amazing collection and display Micheal, I know I've bugged you a few times over the years for a collection tour and I and probably everyone else really appreciates you sharing your personal collection with us. thanks again, loved the stories, humor and dark humor lol
@impossiblepie Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't have any equipment for filming or editing, so it's all done on my phone. There's a few items I missed pointing out - several childhood Star Wars figures and my childhood X-Wing that I restored. I also wanted to show the glow-in-the-dark items at the end, along with the rest of my Trek plate collection.
@impossiblepie I thought it was for the price I paid. The belt, the 2 piece grapnel, the baterang, and all the cartridges that fit in. It's plastic. Nothing is metal but for display it what I was looking for. It is wearable (adjustable sizes in the back), but I don't ever plan to wear it.
Michael ,I have been a Star Wars fan since the beginning and I do have a small collection of toys and memorabilia ,but nowhere in your league.I looked up some of the items you have(and you have a lot ! ) from Stan Solo and you must be working three jobs to afford this hobby ! I know I can't go anywhere near this level with the cost of living nowadays .Kudos to you my friend for being able to manage it !
@GaryGladney-p3c Thanks. I've been collecting his items from the beginning for over 6 years, so I added them little by little. Not all at once and got mulit-packs when available.
I love the mass Endor Rebel Troopers, I still have my childhood one but somewhere along the way lost his gun. One day I try to get a second one as I always loved rebel uniforms. I didn't know there was a small faced scout trooper?! Such a great collection and mass vehicle collection.
Few months ago I bought 10. 3/4 Star Wars figures for £4 each 5 figures i removed from the card but have kept the cards. Probably keep them in the card.
@DavidNeal-mf9ky Thank you. Yes. Everything is the Kenner 3.75. 85% is classic Kenner. The rest are customs or Hasbro Retro Collection. I don't collect 6 inch Star Wars at all except for the 6 inch The Black Series Snowspeeder.
