we still far, theres too much work without human swarm intelligence... Hardware hasnt started yet, thought-to-action models are in demand currently. people will get tired of model demos for a while since human conciousness dont like perceiving its own reality
Good to hear that it is a future 'observation' rather than 'prediction'. IMHO, it is better for the futurist to limit the years of thier future prediction, lesser the years make it more reliable, more than 10 years can make the predictions more and more unreliable due to the unrelenting phase of AI acceleration, seen in the world today.

@@GerdLeonhard seriously! I hope in near future, physics will understand consciousness . death is always inevitable even with advanced heath care technologies, or anti-aging treatment. So I hope science will have more understanding of death and the nature of the universe.
@@GerdLeonhardand I hope in future, spritilual of humanity will increase. AI is great, but it can not conscious like human. Our world is still developing in terms of convience and materialism. We still do not evolve in terms of sprituality. Pain and Fear still occur in life.
@@GerdLeonhard while i don't necessarily agree with the original comment, your appeal to authority makes you seem immature. you make some good points in your presentation, and you make some bad ones. it appears as though you're basing your projections of AI's potential on its current capabilities, which is where i disagree with some of your points. for example, to imply that AI could not learn things like common sense seems short-sighted given that these types of decisions are obvious by definition, so to think AI couldn't pick up on these patterns is not likely. to imply an AI couldn't reason when it will only become better and better at recognising patterns, like logic (yes, logical structures are embedded in patterns), also seems tenuous. to suggest that AI will never be conscious, and that there's something magical about humans, comes off as unscientific. it's becoming clearer and clearer the more we learn about the brain that consciousness emerges from complex processing of stimuli - there's no reason to think that it can only emerge from carbon and that it couldn't emerge from silicon. you have a very human-centric focus in your talk. i suggest you open your mind to the possibilities of vastly greater intelligence than what humans have ever encountered. the complexities of global governance will be tic-tac-toe to a sufficiently intelligent machine. hopefully it arrives soon and can help us sort out this bleak world, better organising the structures governing our incentives, and alleviating so much daily stress from humans (and eventually animals too). all that said, it's important to be optimistic in the face of the oncoming changes, so i commend you for projecting that in your talk.
One hour spent on the future per day creates that future -- Bill Gates / Gerd Leonhard.

You think we’ll have better treatments for schizophrenia?
And for bipolar and other similar diseases I am waiting for that day 🎉
Very likely
For this we need better leaders. And get rid of US hegemony
Excited about what is, what will and could be possible because of AI
I cant wait for robots to walk around everywhere like people

My prediction , whenever get enlightenment
Interesting on where we are heading.
That would be a hard NO on the things you are talking about. Global governance? I don't think so, my friend.
it seems far-fetched but emergencies will teach us
Excellent insight as always Gerd, Keep up the great work you're doing across the world

@jamshidi_rahim
Absolutely Loved this talk 🙏
Thank you for reminding us that as humans we must think before we do.
I appreciate you.
Thanks
what a mental flow
Yes
It's my luck to get a chance to hear intellectuals like you , thanks 🙏👏👏
You must be one of those WEF "see you next tuesdays"
what??
nothing interesting, death is still inevitable.
Ahhh bummer

It is the rhetoric and 'vision' of people like you that makes me depressed about the future.
... and who are you?
