I've listened to a lot of lectures regarding the relationship between AI and humans, but this one really resonated with me. Highly recommend this lecture as a realistic guide on how to properly utilize AI and contribute to a better future.
we can only hope, the Scarlett Johanson model Stepford Wives will be able to council their Libertarian Techno Feudal Lords into being compassionate to the peasants. Maybe when they realize Scarlett Johanson the human was originally a peasant, perhaps they will have a shred of empathy... Many right wing terrorists will love being a "house cat" for an AI, it may be able to keep them busy; but thats my optimistic view, as the environment collapses.
I love the view points that take a look from the outside. 99% of the world does not have a background in AI yet it will affect 100%. As Gerd would say...think about that for a second. Be a thinker and not just a follower. Followers do as they're told, thinkers have a choice. Gerd has one of the most unbiased views you could have right now and for that, he provides great value. He's also one of the very few doomsayers out there and provides presented facts and not just for clicks. Please reframe from using negative comments about people that are actually doing some good.
Gerd… AGi changes all of this. AGi will replace all knowledge workers, including CEOs, and yes, Futurists. This will happen in 3-5 years. After that is manual labour, which I’ll guess 5-7 years (based on the Tesla Optimus). Society is about to get hit by a freight train, and few understand what this means.
For humanity, I hope Gerd is right but as a pessimistic person, I would agree with @limitless. I believe these powerful machines are being made for powerful people and the lesser are catered to because they need us but those days are numbered.

AI will augment not replace. It has no idea of real-life. It does not exist.
