Lucky enough to see Gwar live. I've seen NIN with the whole light show on the lights in the sky tour. I've seen Metallica, I've seen Tool, I've seen MUSE, I've seen Rob Zombie with the flames. I've seen some serious great performance art live shows. I saw GWAR in a shithole venue in Detroit called Harpos. I've never seen a better live show in my life. My shoes I wore that night are still stained red from the fake blood they showered on the fans. If KISS was a great live band, GWAR is a live band on STEROIDS. You haven't seen true greatness in live rock/metal until you've seen GWAR live. Period. Second to none.

Brockie died 5 months before I lost my Mom to cancer. I always include her in the 'People Who Died' part. That's when I became a bohab. Listening to GWAR got me through some of my worst days. I will never get over losing my mother, but watching Brockie on Springer or Joan Collins show or when he was on Red Eye as their Interplanetary Correspondent always make me laugh.
I want to see them tearing up the town until they reach a stage at the next Renaissance fair I go to. I have to mention the veiny udder tha lead guy is wearing..you sir are beyond compare..
This new GWAR you speak of looks a fuck of a lot like the other members of gwar that werent oderus. Its still gwar the other members are still pretty much the same and the gimmick still exists.
