I would love to try to do this it's so beautiful. I do work with resin I make coasters with broken jewelry it's alot of fun I enjoy it so much. Thank you for the info.
Gilly…these are gorgeous! Have you thought about empty spray paint can to hold your vases? The paint drips off cleanly onto canvas and you can grab by bottom to move. 😉
Hi and hello there ! I saw the very same video where you can put together different acrylic paint colors in different small cups and spill onto what ever size canvass thus by tilting the canvass every which way to get different designs , I haven't tried this of yet .
I’ve seen someone do it and it was beautiful. However it didn’t last in a dishwasher. I would suggest painting multisurface paint first, and pour over it once the paint has dried, so the base paint is attached to the pitcher. Depending on the multisurface paint you use you can cure it with either the oven method or waiting 28 days.
Gilly I love watching you your art work is wonderful, you make my day I love hearing all about the different paints, and all your experiments, as well as the dogs ,pups, the baby and John as well as the rest of family, you make me laugh I love listening to you talk about all the things going on in your part of the world. You make it so we all seem just down the road from each other, you have inspired me to try my hand at painting ,,,I do make a real mess of things some look like Santa vomited in my house but I don't give up,I tell myself my art room my rules and keep trying susan.this vase is absolutely beautiful smashing just gorgeous .Thank you so much for sharing your talent ,please don't stop encouraging us to keep reaching for the stars.
I love when I'm going through my list of videos to watch (long list), then I come to one of your videos and it's like meeting up with an old friend. I know your voice. "Hello", is all it takes. Then I smile knowing I'm going to enjoy the next, however long it is. Most videos I speed up just to get the vital info and go on to the next. So... good to see you old friend! Janet
I absolutely LOVE how this vase turned out, LOVE IT!! I guess because the paints are a bit thicker that it slowed down the flow, which I love, so it created those beautiful patterns. I really love the colors you chose as well. So pretty.
Gilly, I used to watch you all the time before the pandemic. This is the first time I have been on here watching you since way back. I am so grateful to see you are doing great and doing your art which is as beautiful as ever!
Hey Gilly, I'm new pouring, and you were the first video I watched on the subject. I dearly love you, your talent and teaching, and thank you so very much for the inspiration you have given me. Im working with my 2 granddaughters ages 11 and 14, that I am raising as a single grandmother. My youngest has ADHD, and I'm hoping this will be a good outlet for her and for me. I struggle with anxiety and depression. I started watching you on my phone which was good, then my granddaughter set me up on the tv and now I'm in heaven. Well enough about my little family... more about you. I must say Gilly I cringed at first (phone view) when you pulled out you balloons but now on the tv I find myself saying out loud "get the balloon Gilly get the balloon" lol. I love the technique. I watched a vase pour you did and I was once again saying out loud get the balloon. I haven't tried it but I think if you push the big balloon into the indent on the bottom of the base it will push the excess out and evenly over the sides. Gilly, I look forward to growing under you great guidance. Thank you so very much!! Donna P.S. Lots of love from the small town of Verona, Virginia.
