I just bought a 48in with the same motor based party on your review. I had some concern with tuff torq as well, but see that even the 61in comes with either the hydro gear 3100 or tuff torq 450. Must be strong if comparable to 3100. I can’t find oil filters for less than about $13. Mowed my acre twice so far and very happy with the cut and fuel efficiency. Mowed in less than half the time of my old garden tractor. Very happy so far. Thanks for your review.
Not too bad, the commercial grade units have the better ride, I think the next up from this is the Patriot and you get a little more mower for the buck.
Has anyone changed the transaxle oil yet on a Scag Liberty Z? How did you get the vent valve cap off and on since there is no room above it due to the frame being right on top of it? I haven't tried yet, but the space is so small and surrounded by metal framing I cannot get my hand in there. I could pry it off ok, but cleaning the outside and inside and putting it back on cannot be done easily. It certainly cannot be done how Tuff Torq recommends which is to use their vent value tool and a rubber hammer to tap it back on. This is a residential mower and should be easily serviceable. Seems like a really poor design. Appreciate any comments from those who have changed the TZ450 oil on a Scag Liberty Z. @rhyan4321able, I assume you've had to change yours by now. Appreciate if you would share your experience.
I was just told by Kawasaki USA, whom their dealership that I bought a KRX Terex from, told me I had to have the machine's first service performed by them to keep the warranty valid, was not only false, but that the only way ANY manufacturer can use warranty to make you have them service your machine, would mean THEY would have to provide that service, including fluids/filters/labor, for free. If the dealership doesn't provide the service free, it's against the law to hang that over your head. ON ANYTHING. Use whatever properly matched oil/filter you want, and do it yourself...your warranty cannot be voided as a result, unless it can be proven what you used caused a failure.
I’m 84 years old and mow 3 acr of grass I 😅Java liberty scag 61 it is grate

I love mine. I’m 71 and absolutely love it.
for whats its worth, I don't have washers on the backside of my deck either. Maybe thats by design?
You think this would be good mower for residential lawns getting ready to start my own business
I think it's a good mower, only time can tell.
The Magnuson Ferguson warranty act , look it up they can't void the warranty as long as the products you use are of the correct specs
Good vid. Thinking about getting one
Let us know about the washers!
How is it on bumpy yards? Wondering how comfortable it is on rough areas. Do they make a seat with springs?

I'm going to find out today about the washers, and i will do a short video next week.
Thanks

You can remove the internal filters from the trans?
Don't know.. but why would you?
@@rhyan4321able to replace them or clean them.
Does the floor lift up?
Take out a couple of bolts and it does.
