I own a 2020 and a 2018. I have most of the stuff you listed, pretty solid set. In addition, I have some hang over the seat organizers, which are nice for kid stuff. I also have a Durablez trunk organizer for the frunk that is fantastic. It's water tight, so you can put questionable take out boxes in it or other messy stuff. If it gets dirty, you can hose it off. I also have Xrack's accessory cargo rack that's designed specifically for my vintage X, not sure if they released a new one for the refresh. That thing is a game changer. I used it for getting a jackhammer rental from home depot most recently, but it's come in handy tons. They also sell a ski rack I own for carrying 6 sets of skis, which Tesla's (Thule's) can't really do. For towing, you should have a set of 5000 lb quick link chains. The Model X has horrible connection points for chains. Having the quick links makes it not a cursing fest trying to get connected. Also, a Fastway safety chain holder keeps the chains from dragging when it's not your trailer and the chains are too long. I also keep Autosocks in the car in case of getting stuck in the snow. I've never needed them, and they're a fraction of the price of Tesla's tire chains and deliver the same peace of mind with way less weight. Glad to see someone show the Model X some accessory love ❤️.
1. Sun shade with silver/grey liner for top front and 2 top small windows in 2nd row. Bonus points if you can find one with a middle cutout for the camera equipment housing. 2. Basenor back seat covers for model 3/y fit perfectly over the hardshell of refresh model x. Great if you have kids that live to kick the backs of the front seats. 3. If you have white seats and child seats, get child seats with WHITE backing. You may be in for rude surprise if you live in hot area and you got BLACK backing that has transferred/stuck to your white seats. 4. Spigen magnetic phone holder works well for me stuck on top left corner of the screen. Perfect location for Waze police alerts. 4. Tempered glass screen protector for rear screen. Again because of kids protection against kicks. 5. USB C rubber plugs to plug up the 3rd or 2nd row usb ports. Again to protect against kids. They hardly get used. 6. Front mudflaps directly from Tesla for refresh given the rear door panel flares out.
The Tesla manual says not to put anything on the windscreen because it interferes with the wipers and cameras. Have you experienced any issues? Being able to use Rain-X would be helpful to improve visibility.
I adore my 2022 Model X, adore it. I’m happy you love yours too. They don’t need many accessories as they come so loaded to start with. We have a 2023 Y, love it, and of corse our 2022 X, ADORE it, and am patient;y waiting for our Tri-Motor CyberTruck (Early reservation about 3,600) to round out the family. Once the truck arrives we will be an all electric family powered by our sunny SoCal 8 kW rooftop solar system. It’s wonderful not having to stop at a gas station and not having to deal with those routine oil changes.
Glad I found this video. Like you said, you search any accessory for a model S and you get 99% results saying (MODEL 3/Y) 😅. Keep up the great work! -New Stealth Grey Model S Owner
Turned down the Cybertruck when it was scheduled for delivery, and Picked up a refresh X the first of May, got floor mats, sun shades and an organizer for the console...would like rim protectors for the 20" wheels. Loving the X after 3,000 miles, and two road trips. Still like to have a CT, but don't want the hype, and getting the tax credit on the X was a sweet deal.
I just watched your vid, and went ahead and ordered the 19” Turbine for my Black Model Y that has the original silver Gemini wheel covers on. Used your code and got the set for $144 plus tax! Hope the black on black looks good. I’ve been kicking around changing the wheel covers for a while but wasn’t sure how it would look. So taking a chance I guess. My Model Y is less than a year old, and I’m having fun customizing and making it mine. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Your coast to coast drives have been fun to watch.
Tires for model X? Love the Chanel, we considering going to X from y but I keep reading about negative camber issues, and tires not lasting. What is your experience so far, also there is an after market n2itive kit that solves that not sure if you ever looked in to it? Could be a great video Thank you
If you got a nail in the tire on a road trip and had to plug it how would you access it? Do you have a scissors Jack that will lift the model x ? If so where did you get it from!?
I have a set of pucks in my car, i leave them on passenger seat everytime i go to discount, this last time even tho i told them where they were, they didnt use them. Scratched the shit out of my frame and when i complained they acted like i was to blamed for not showing them what they were...
Someone keyed your model x??? Post the sentry footage here and send copy to wham bam! I really like the refresh model x (minus the lack of steering wheel and such), I hope tesla doesn’t kill the model x but further evolves it.
Ceramic Coatings are expensive because there is a TON of prep to do it right. You really should be polishing your car to perfection before "locking it in" with a ceramic coating. Its frankly kind of dumb to do a ceramic coating on marred paint. It took me 2 days to do mine right. Also, FWIW you got some janky unknown ceramic coating. Most real ceramic coatings are under $100. Again, its the labor youre paying for when you pay a shop to do it
That “high concentrated” ceramic coating needing only one coat is all marketing. There’s no way to build up a thick layer with just one coat no matter how concentrated it is.
I agree that professionally installed ceramic coating is way over priced, but so is all PPF! Just because a ceramic coating is under $100 does not mean it’s not a real or true ceramic coating. IMO you overpaid for your ForMyTesla ceramic coating. DIY Detailing offers amazing ceramic coatings that are very easy to apply and Avalon King ceramic coatings aren’t bad either. And while I’m on the subject ceramic coatings for the interior are no better than traditional interior protectants.
Picking up our model X plaid tomorrow, probably won’t be able to sleep tonight. lol 😂

You explain things very well and the coverage is also great. Thanks.

I haven't put anything on the windshield
Great info. Thank you!!!

Stealth Grey! Very nice!
I’m still going to get a X plaid, but low key the lack of accessories was making me thinking of waiting for refresh y lol

You seriously can’t beat the impact in look for the money! Wheel covers in late 2022/early 2023 started getting really good!
PPF is unnecessary. If you are unlucky to get a paint chip, you can buy an OEM repair kit from Chipex.
meh, I have had good luck with PPF saving my cars several times
@@BeardedTeslaGuysame here. Someone swung their door open and hit my side door. It nicked the PPF instead of the car itself

If you but the Model X in black again? I can’t decide what color I want!
We are taking delivery of the new model x 6 seat next week!

Awesome video dude.
@BeardedTeslaGuy Any thoughts/ recos on mudflaps (splashguards)?
Curious why Tesla only sells a set for the front only for the MX.
I have a set of pucks in my car, i leave them on passenger seat everytime i go to discount, this last time even tho i told them where they were, they didnt use them. Scratched the shit out of my frame and when i complained they acted like i was to blamed for not showing them what they were...
Yea, it’s my biggest fear!
Do you recommend mud guards?
Yes, Tesla sells front mudflaps for X refresh
Wish someone made an under seat storage bin for the front seats
Yea that would be useful
They do check out everyday Chris’s channel and his model x accessories video

Yea, it was crazy. I did not have Sentry mode on unfortunately
@@BeardedTeslaGuy oh no!!!

You forgot WD-40 , my driver seat is killing me😂
Lol
I'd probably lean on white lithium grease so you only have to fix it once.

Real ceramic is going to be more than $100 so if it was less, then it’s not a real ceramic coating.
