Just bought the fridge. Can’t wait to get it and your discount code worked so thanks for saving me $100. I spend my weekends in Tucson and drive 2 hours away to work during the week. Excited to be able to buy frozen food at Costco and be able to get it home.
One item I will add and will always have in my Tesla is a swivel mount !! Once you get it you won't want to go back. It makes the screen more in your line of sight and feels like a cockpit. It can go up down side to side. Highly encourage anyone to get it Phoenix AZ
I live in the Phoenix area and I love my roof shades, the seatbelt extender is also very nice, sometimes when you put the seats down the seatbelts will get stuck behind the seats and then when someone sits in the back they can't get to them.
Are you sure the low voltage outlet stays on while in sentry mode? I can’t find anything in the manual that verifies this. Also will the fridge work on 16 volts?
I have aftermarket floormats that drive me crazy. They have a huge lip on them that prevents me front opening the aftermarket drawers I put under the seats. I have to pull the mats up to use those drawers, and those drawers are really handy.
I just have the ones from Tesla and they look great and fit perfect. I didn't want to to take any chance on aftermarket on this item and the cost, even from Tesla, isn't that bad.
I've seen reports that a recent Tesla software update disables the 9V outlet that the cooler uses when the car isn't in use, which limits the usefulness of the cooler/fridge when you're camping or staying overnight in a hotel/motel.
Just ordered the refrigerator for my numerous road trips, and the EVjet as well. In 55K miles, I've had 2 situations that it would have been useful. My angels covered me to safely unplug and leave. Thanks again!!
WRT EVJect: What we REALLY need: A standard fixture, in the bottom of the car, to connect to the charger. You drive over it, and get notified when you're in the right position. Once you stop, a mating fixture rises up from under the car, clips onto the fixture, and automatically sets you up for charging. AND it has a breakaway feature, so that at any time, you can drive away and it automatically disconnects. This needs to be standardized for all EV models. It shouldn't require that much hardware anyway. There should be a kit to retrofit previous EV models. I'm totally OK with the idea of wireless charging for low-power equipment. But for EVs, the fixture would not only be more efficient, but it would not require you to have charging support hardware, which would have to be driven around with the car, with the weight that implies, and would also add to the expense. All you need is the mechanical connection to electrical power, and this could be easily provided. I do think canopies are a great idea for charging stations, but with this automated arrangement, you would not even need to get out of the car. I really don't see much downside to this. However, one question might be whether the breakaway hardware should be part of the car, or part of the charger. Whichever it is, it should be standard. I think I would argue for it being with the car, so that if you''re someone who feels concerned possibly needing to break away, you have the assurance that your car will have the necessary configuration. The breakaway feature should act non-destructively. It might be a simple friction-fit connector, with a positive click stop but which lets go at a certain amount of strain.
Your example for the EV eject was a little flawed. Even if they had this breakaway feature adapter, the car was still blocked. There was no way to drive away.
@@vegasteslafamily How dumb do I sound? LOL OF COURSE it's an ELECTRIC CAR that does NOT pull into a gas station. But anyway, how is the sunshade working? I wasn't a great big fan of the velcro cuz it will come off and sag or get loose

Good one! Still have to install mine
I don't camp nor have I taken a road trip in my Tesla just yet, but I splurged on the sub trunk fridge and it's a game changer for sure!

Tire repair kit yes!

This is true it does, but it still works in camp mode. And it’s well-insulated - everything stays cold (for us at least) overnight without use
We no longer use the seatbelt extenders as they unfortunately make a lot of noise and the belt sometimes won't move.
Ah sorry didn’t know this!

It is off when the Tesla is not running. There are spacers for ventilation
