I just realized. In my opinion, this is one of the easiest Stage 4s in the entire series. The very next stage, in my opinion, is one of the _hardest_ Stage 5s in the series.
This game is indeed hard... but for all the bad reasons. As I said before, it was worth playing this game blind, just to hear this theme first. It's amazing~ Use Legacy Mode to get through the game at first time, Pointdevice only for practice or get to stage 5 only. Stage 5 isn't balanced for it.
Minako The Randomer It's sadly true. Difficulty curve in this game is weird Stage 4 is easier than stage 3. Stage 5 is Extra. Stage 6 is easier than stage 2 sometimes. Sometimes it just seems weird and unfinished.
Popcioslav - It's pretty clear PointDevice is meant to be the main, more balanced, and harder mode of the game. Between the last demo and the full game, Zun actually purposely made Legacy mode more broken-easy by changing "5 life pieces = 1-up" to "3 life pieces = 1-up" ; but he left the extra stage (which is Legacy only, since Pointdevice would be pointlessly easy for 1-2 stages long) as 5 pieces per life.

BraviJNEP normal pointdevice on stage 4 and 5 is the worst, I simply recomend saving bombs in case you cannot get past specific moment.

I actually cleared it on PD Normal, took me almost 4 hours with 898 retries though.... It's really hard
