Why do I feel so bad when I try to defeat Junko after I heard that her child has been killed? In my opinion she has one of the saddest background stories.
Actually, those blue danmaku lines coming from nowhere are implied to be Junko's tears. Fury so strong your tears turn into the most annoying danmaku in the world.
I'm being reminded of the final stage theme in Heavenly of Gathering Clouds. But this theme, I hear the hint of sadness to it, but it's telling you to go foward.
This song. It's perfection. Such undiluted majesty, such undiluted sorrow. Such unrestrained power, such unrestrained tranquility. The lifelessness of the bast sea below and the timelessness of the ancient being above you can be felt in this song. My heart swells; I am in tears.
Once you know the story behind LoLK you just cannot stop listening to this theme and it's hidden meaning. Let's just say, LoLK has best dialogues and plot since any Touhou game, so yeah~ And as I've said before, having same melody used for final stage and final boss FINALLY pays off!
Popcioslav - "LoLK has best dialogues and plot since any Touhou game, so yeah~" I beg you, give me a translation or something. From what I've seen on the wiki this game's plot is the most *confusing* of all. A dream world giving access to Gensokyo when it was declared impossible in IN ? Fighting Lunarians who have somehow made it there and then trying to save them ? Who are these two "enemies" ? Why is there an American fairy ? WHAT is happening ? I guess it's too early for me to understand, but darn...
blara2401 You can go back to Wiki now or try to find translations/post on tubmrl explaining to story. I won't spoil it myself, but I\ll just tell you - This is most brilliant plotline Touhou ever had, AND EVERY QUESTION YOU'VE ASKED IS ANSWERED IF.
Popcioslav - Don't bother. Someone down there posted the whole backstory - I replied to that thread, if you looked. Yes, I agree it's pretty enjoyable, but the dialogue still left me completely lost - even translated, of course. I like the unusual twisty nature of it, the bit of Chinese mythology, and all, but I think the dialogues should expose it better. Then again, IN had the same problem. ALSO, there is still no reason for Clownpiece to be dressed this way. (And it's kind of silly that the Barrier was not fixed since ULiL, allowing Lunarians to step in when they couldn't in IN...)
blara2401 There is reason for Clownpiece to be dressed this way. Her entire purpose was to scare and digust Lunarians out of the Sea of Tranquility - she marked her terrain. What did Americans did when they landed on the moon? They put American flag, they marked their terrain. Also Clownpiece is supposed to be PURIFIED fairy, which also means purified annoyance. Please tell me you weren't annoyed by her at the first time you saw her design and such.
Popcioslav - ...thinking about it, I really wonder why I didn't get it at first. It goes right in line with Junko being nothing anymore but purified hatred. (Though, to be fair...a fairy without anything else in her being so strong makes little sense to me.)
It kinda reminds me of Blue Sea of 53 Minutes in Concealed the Conclusion, just moved up a key or two. It fades in and out the same way, has heavy overtones of the ocean, and makes you want to cry your eyes out. Those two songs.. I can't think of any others that just express such pure and unfettered sorrow.
+mewnani : Also, the background. You know Junko's story, when you play the stage and think of the character, what she has been through . . . It's like CTC, you reach that 6th stage when you know that Reimu is "dead" and gensokyo is being destroyed, fading like it never existed.
Junko's name means "pure fox". That quote, on Junko's stage theme, can only mean one thing... Toby Fox is Junko confirmed! She tried to make a game like the one she's in and failed miserably, which is why Undertale and its fans are so bad.
Well, I have no problem with you being one. I personally think it's overrated, but if you like it, that's fine with me. People are allowed to have opinions, after all.
It took me like... 1200+ deaths to get to Junko, 600+ of them solely on Clownpiece but you know, for the feeling of the last stage, the sorrow followed by the most intense danmaku fight ever, I would do it again, and again, and again.
This is definitely my favorite stage theme in the game. It sounds so relaxing and calm, unlike other final stage theme's. Thank you for uploading this Hecatia!
So true I felt the worse when Reimu and the others when they have to stop Junko and her comrades to commit genocide on the moon people to get Chang'e after what happen to her son...
It's actually my favorite 6th stage from the serie. Though, I really like the 6th soundtrack of LLS too, but it's much shorter and it plays with other emotions such as "sleep" and "wonder".
Dear Junko, do not cry anymore. I have an eternal child going by the name of Krishna who would love to be your eternal son. He Also happen to be the killer of many powerful demons. Just call his name sweetly and he will come to you. 🎶Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare 🎶

+FAH Holliday I thought they represent a meteor shower...
Or ZUN just put them there to frustrate people.
The game's name is *LoL* K, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Junko: "How many mistakes have you made upon reaching here?"
me: "Oh, only about 2,000"
So true
+Clownpiece
lolk
Aniline Hydrochloride Legacy of Lunatic Kinkys%!#
Clownpiece was the hardest normal boss I've ever seen...
Me: "How many breads have you eaten in your life?"
This stage was pure heaven...
+White Wolfie and the boss was Pure Furies
Hecatia Lapislazuli I...
... guess you're right
+White Wolfie And then it started to rain.
With tears of pure fury…
I'm being reminded of the final stage theme in Heavenly of Gathering Clouds.

Wow u can do it!!!!

+龍瀧幽歌 Would you say...
It has PURE majesty, PURE sorrow, etc. etc.?

This is the part that made it's way into my head, mostly because of the raindrop stars crap.
+Hina Face "Raindrop stars crap", 10/10 best mental image
+Hina Face I'm gonna add that one to my list of nicknames for that part
Along with "PK Starstorm" and "The MIDI File"
+Detonexploder I also used to say that that part looked like a MIDI file
+Detonexploder How about "One life for 1,500 graze"
Actually, that's kinda long...
Garry Dumblowski? the 2000 graze it might work

***** Have you seen Blue Sea of 53 Minutes from Retrospective 53 Minutes? It has some parts omitted in CtC that make it even better.
***** It also has a lot of similarities with Protoman's theme from Megaman 3.

How.
wow... A whole month before the meme...
Junko's name means "pure fox".
That quote, on Junko's stage theme, can only mean one thing...

Aidan Tait
Which is very smart to say to someone who is an Undertale fan, isn't it.
Well, I have no problem with you being one. I personally think it's overrated, but if you like it, that's fine with me. People are allowed to have opinions, after all.

Alright, I'm glad. I respect yours as well, really, not everybody's gonna like the same stuff.

This seriously has to be one of the best tracks in Touhou history. And that is *really* saying something.
This is definitely my favorite stage theme in the game. It sounds so relaxing and calm, unlike other final stage theme's. Thank you for uploading this Hecatia!
The intro makes my skin crawl. It's just that breathtaking.
Imagine being a 2hu so angry, you get to rain down hard-to-avoid bullets BEFORE the main protagonist reaches you
Music is so sad..............
It's not sad for me, it's a music from a super mario 64 rom hack
So true I felt the worse when Reimu and the others when they have to stop Junko and her comrades to commit genocide on the moon people to get Chang'e after what happen to her son...
YESSSSSSSSS
I was waiting for this :3
Thanks very much XD
When you try to mix it with Last Remote. It's fit perfectly!
XD
It's actually my favorite 6th stage from the serie. Though, I really like the 6th soundtrack of LLS too, but it's much shorter and it plays with other emotions such as "sleep" and "wonder".
เพลงนี้อาจสื่อถึงความเศร้าของจุนโกะก่อนที่จะระเบิดโทสะออกมา
I can hear bits of Junko's theme here.
hum the chorus to flandres theme out loud to the pace of this song, they line up extremely well...
Gotta love how this gets integrated into Junko's proper theme.
ok fine....
this is my new fav stage 6 theme
The bullets coming from nowhere was so much bullcrap that it was made into one of Tensei's spells in Shining Shooting Star
power and subterfuge
This theme fills you with *D E T E R M I N A T I O N*
*you feel like you're going to have feels time
*Saw that one dislike* Chang'e, is that you?
popup doesn't irritate me, cuz it's small m8

Am I crazy for hearing U.N Owen here 0:29 during my first playthrough
Sorry, the pop- up doesn't irritate me.
That sea would be horrible for Vegeta.....
Sounds like mega man
Hmm, I think this translation of theme's name was not very good, at least totally different in the meaning comparing to its original Japanese one.
+賴禹邵 I don't know ~
I'm not the one who translated this ~~
