For anyone who was wondering on how to get the good/bad ending, the choice takes place in episode three on Claire and Moira's part, during the boss fight. After "killing" Neil, both will believe he's dead, causing them to take the elevator up. Once the doors open, Neil attacks Moira, and Claire gets him of of her. She will rush over and ask if Moira is okay, not realizing that Neil is behind her. He will collapse on her. This is when the choice is made. Many players will quickly reach out for the gun as claire, and shoot him repeatedly in the face. To get the good ending, switch characters, and as Moira, slowly crawl to the gun. She will have flashbacks to when she accidentally shot her sister, Polly. She will finally take the gun, killing Neal and overcoming her fear of guns, therefore being able to save herself, and Barry & Natalia in the last episode during the boss fight with the overseer. Sorry this was so long haha

So, by this ending we can tell that Moira is dead, right? Cause to get the good ending, u have to shoot monster Neil with Moira, not Claire. While Moira is shooting Neil, she got a flashback of the accident involving Moira' sister, Polly. So, we can presume that she'd overcome the trauma and is able to use a gun.
Well this is depressing, but yet at the same time kind of cool that the main villain and final boss just walks away like that. Moira is dead, Natalia is taken over by Alex and Barry is in shambles. I think the reason why Barry didn`t kill her was because he could not bring himself to do it, despite knowing it was Alex. Killing a viral abomination is one thing, but a child? That is a whole other matter. This is the ending I got, despite thinking I made the right choices along the way. If this ending woud stand as the canon ending, my respect for Capcom would grow exponentially. Still this was a great game. One of the best Resident Evil`s I`ve played in recent memory.

Alex Wesker is a terrifying villain and personally one of my all time favorite villains :P she's a force to be reckoned with and she wins regardless of what ending you get. She takes over Natalia's body in the good ending as well. It just takes 2 years and all they brought was time. We don't know what the trigger is in the good ending, hopefully we find out someday. Fun fact: She (Wesker) comes back on the same day Piers dies. Must be the shittiest day of Chris's life LOL

Not only do they introduce a new, awesome villain in Alex Wesker, but she isn`t just a throw away boss to finish the game either. I tip my hat off to Capcom on this one.

So for all we know its an episode seeing as even in the Little Miss episode Alex is trying to make her give up, but now she has Barry and the others so it's no where near that easy.
Old news. I Thought that the mystery was solved. I got a write up on hand that goes into it. What you say about Alex trying to make her give up, this is true. She wants to squeeze her consciousness out of her and be the dominate body. We see this happen in the bad ending. As for Lottie. He does not exist. He is part Natalia's subconscious (her best friend) that Alex is manipulating. Right now Natalia has the dominate consciousness... that won't be the case for long. Read the final document in the game. That's one of many that actually goes into this. If you want some serious evidence. Feel free and I can hook you up.
If you see the ending credits of the good ending, good and bad are relative... Alex still assumes Natalia body anyway (the ending scene where Natalia [Alex] is reading a book, is Alex that is reading the book).

I didnt get this at all! I was following her story and i remember "huh? Moira is bad with guns i need her to shot for me every once in a while" i didnt know it was ending there but then i made her grab the gun to kill Neil and look what i just did. FUCKING GOOD ENDING RIGHT AWAY!
At first I didn't think I could get into it but by the time I beat this game I have found that I really like this one a lot. Definitely better than the first Revelations
My dad and i played this together (Me as Claire and Barry, Him as Moira and Natalia) We got the bad ending on our first run. We were super disappointed because we had gotten so attached to the dynamic between Barry and Natalia, but at the same we thought this would happen and it was really well done. Poor Barry though, these two got so close and this ended up happening. Also can i just say that the facial expressions, acting, and lighting are SO GOOD
For anyone out there wondering if you get a cutscene of Moira’s hand shaking and twitching in the debris she’s crushed by that means you’ve officially gotten the bad ending but only in episode 4 can you see it and she has died for real and won’t be there to save natalia
Dark Natalia is literally just Albert Wesker here. She gets the red eyes that just completely cuts off Alex's hand and then does the arm thrust just like Wesker in RE 5.
The problem with that is that Albert had been dead for a couple of years so even if she somehow managed to get his body from the volcano I doubt even Capcom would say his mind survived because she put the brain on ice or whatever. Then you have to explain why she decide to put his mind in Natalia, killing herself so she can continue living inside Natalia. It was after all her plan to make Natalia HER way to live on. Another problem would be how his mind was transferred from Alex...

I got this game on Switch 6 months ago, but only my brother played it at the time, he got this ending. He was pretty shocked at this, but he clearly didnt played other re games, so he didn't figure there would be alternate endings. I finally started the game 2 weeks ago, finished it and got this ending as well, but I replayed again and today I got the true ending. Whats funny about this?, well, the same way Barry spent 6 months until he found the truth, it took 6 months to my brother to see the true ending xD.
Bad ending is when Dark Natalia takes over the body of Natalia making her a superhuman girl with the mind of Alex Wesker. Good ending is when she is saved against mutated Alex, however in the end Dark Natalia is fighting to take control of Natalia. She's still Natalia in this ending, but she has to deal with controlling herself from Alex's copied mind inside her.
Damn, i thought this is the real ending until i found out this game has multiple endings. I indeed almost depressed after this (after the last words appears and the end of the episode, this definetly more deppressing). Never thought this game made me choose and if I'm not, it will lead me straight to the bad ending. You know what I'm gonna play this game again but this time, I will get the good ending
The bad ending in this game almost seems a little more fitting for the overall game. Resident Evil shouldn't always have some happy ending riding into the sun kind of finish. It throws fans off and keeps them in suspense. Look how well they handled Steve's death in CV. It could have been easy for the writers to just let him live, but they didn't to add some realism to their situation.

The future, I really wish for family reunion with Albert and see them work together, That if he actually not dead. That would be cool. Alex seems really smart, she might gain more powers than Albert.

just finished playing this game, i didn't even realized that there was a bad ending. I always switch to Moira when exploring the area so when Neil fell onto Claire, i didn't have to switch character and i thought that Moira killing Neil is the original story
I can take the "End of the Road" ending in "Darkside Chronicles". But this... this is too much, even by my standards. And I harvested at least 4 Little Sisters back in "BioShock".

I got the good ending, but it was literally just pure luck. I had seen somewhere that this game has 2 endings, but I NEVER once looked up how to get the good ending. Basically when Neil was on top on Claire and was about to kill her, "switch characters" appeared on the screen and I just switched to Moira and crawled to the gun. I didn't know I had the choice to shoot with Claire until AFTER I finished the game. I figured I got the good ending in the game, so I wanted to see the bad ending as well and that's when I found out that I had the choice to shoot with Claire. I call it luck because if I knew I had a choice, I probably most definitely would have shot with Claire😂😂😂. I'm glad that I got the good ending because everyone survived and it ended on a happy note. Natalia at the end was questionable though🤣🤣

did you get moira to kill neil by grabbing the gun in the 3rd chapter? because that's how you get the good ending. if you used claire instead of moira to kill Neil near the end of the 3rd chapter's boss battle, then Moira won't overcome her fear of guns & sharp objects therefor Moira won't be able to use a gun to save Natalia by shooting Alex multiple times when Natalia got grasped by Alex in the 4th chapter.

I got the good ending because the game told me to change into Moira. Funny to see that people actually killed Neil with Claire, in everyone's experience, we thought that moment was linear to our actions.

not sure how can you guys got this bad ending but for me in my case I got a good ending one during my first run. just beating it. if you guys pay attention during the quick action time in episode 3. a prompt is appear after the smashing F button it will prompt to press TAB to change character. edited: during the quick action time I follow exactly the prompt tell me to do. after smashing F a couple of time then prompt TAB showed up and I pressed TAB.

+SSJ Alex Ummmm have you ever seen the film SaW? The first one? It's basically like this and the "villain" in that gets up and walks away, much like Alex. Leaving Adam to die and rot in the room. He walks out the door and slams the door shut saying "Game Over" and the credits roll. Alex is a very similar character to Jigsaw and may be loosely based on him. Testing people with games to see if they are worthy to live or not. The bad ending of Revelations 2 (which is brilliant btw) is much like this. Barry is stuck on the island to live with his guilt, and basically die with it. This is far more cruel that simply killing him. Alex is a very cruel person and knows damn well what she's doing. Barry has to suffer with emotional pain. He failed at what he was trying to redeem. He failed his daughter Moira, and he failed this little girl, he failed at being a father. It is a very tragic ending for Barry. In the Japanese version of the game right before the final boss fight. Alex isn't just talking about killing Natalia. She is also talking about killing Barry and how she hates him for interfering. It's actually darker and she says "Reality or Travesty" instead of "True or False". Also Natalia says "Barry, why am I so scared?" which suggests that Alex is winning.

The Bad Ending Is When Moira Burton Isn't there to save natalia from mutated alex wesker as when Natalia was Choke by Alex wesker she died and the digitized copy of Alex wesker that was transferred to her become dominant and took full control of the body of Natalia reborn as the new Alex wesker
The good ending was indicating when Moira Burton was able to save Natalia from Alex wesker thus halting and stopping Alex wesker's consciousness resurfacing in Natalia korda's body 3 yrs later after the event the Alex's wesker consciousness awake in her body however she doesn't have full control of natalia kordas body but natalia may have developed some kind of split personality and natalia must always put herself in check because the Alex wesker's consciousness inside her is waiting for her to fall and lost control
Actually I have a theory that natalia and rosemary winters will become friends in the future events in the game because rose and natalia may understand and relate to each other because they are both superhuman that got experimented in and also if ever the Alex wesker's consciousness awoke in her I think capcom will replace wesker by natalia(as alex wesker's consciousness) as the new big villain in the future

i still believe natalia in main game, like rev 2 to be the prologue for re7. everybody knows that a side game got some storyline included and it wasnt a numered game. Resident evil for gameboy or something like that. theys did it before so...

I got the good ending, but it was literally just pure luck. I had seen somewhere that this game has 2 endings, but I NEVER once looked up how to get the good ending. Basically when Neil was on top on Claire and was about to kill her, "switch characters" appeared on the screen and I just switched to Moira and crawled to the gun. I didn't know I had the choice to shoot with Claire until AFTER I finished the game. I figured I got the good ending in the game, so I wanted to see the bad ending as well and that's when I found out that I had the choice to shoot with Claire. I call it luck because if I knew I had a choice, I probably most definitely would have shot with Claire😂😂😂. I'm glad that I got the good ending because everyone survived and it ended on a happy note. Natalia at the end was questionable though🤣🤣

did you get moira to kill neil by grabbing the gun in the 3rd chapter? because that's how you get the good ending.
if you used claire instead of moira to kill Neil near the end of the 3rd chapter's boss battle, then Moira won't overcome her fear of guns & sharp objects therefor Moira won't be able to use a gun to save Natalia by shooting Alex multiple times when Natalia got grasped by Alex in the 4th chapter.
Good thing I didn't get this ending.

I got the good ending because the game told me to change into Moira. Funny to see that people actually killed Neil with Claire, in everyone's experience, we thought that moment was linear to our actions.

not sure how can you guys got this bad ending but for me in my case I got a good ending one during my first run. just beating it. if you guys pay attention during the quick action time in episode 3. a prompt is appear after the smashing F button it will prompt to press TAB to change character.
edited: during the quick action time I follow exactly the prompt tell me to do. after smashing F a couple of time then prompt TAB showed up and I pressed TAB.
So either way Alex Wesker has a new body nice .. However both endings lead to the same outcome y not just stick with this Ending . Also can anyone tell me where Eve Wesker fits into this whole timeline thanks

This ending is bad. Just bad. Why couldn't be more to it? Have her kill Barry instead of laughing away or Barry actually shooting him? NONE OF IT MAKES SENSE!
+SSJ Alex Ummmm have you ever seen the film SaW? The first one? It's basically like this and the "villain" in that gets up and walks away, much like Alex. Leaving Adam to die and rot in the room. He walks out the door and slams the door shut saying "Game Over" and the credits roll. Alex is a very similar character to Jigsaw and may be loosely based on him. Testing people with games to see if they are worthy to live or not.
The bad ending of Revelations 2 (which is brilliant btw) is much like this. Barry is stuck on the island to live with his guilt, and basically die with it. This is far more cruel that simply killing him. Alex is a very cruel person and knows damn well what she's doing. Barry has to suffer with emotional pain. He failed at what he was trying to redeem. He failed his daughter Moira, and he failed this little girl, he failed at being a father. It is a very tragic ending for Barry.
In the Japanese version of the game right before the final boss fight. Alex isn't just talking about killing Natalia. She is also talking about killing Barry and how she hates him for interfering. It's actually darker and she says "Reality or Travesty" instead of "True or False". Also Natalia says "Barry, why am I so scared?" which suggests that Alex is winning.

The Bad Ending Is When Moira Burton Isn't there to save natalia from mutated alex wesker as when Natalia was Choke by Alex wesker she died and the digitized copy of Alex wesker that was transferred to her become dominant and took full control of the body of Natalia reborn as the new Alex wesker
The good ending was indicating when Moira Burton was able to save Natalia from Alex wesker thus halting and stopping Alex wesker's consciousness resurfacing in Natalia korda's body 3 yrs later after the event the Alex's wesker consciousness awake in her body however she doesn't have full control of natalia kordas body but natalia may have developed some kind of split personality and natalia must always put herself in check because the Alex wesker's consciousness inside her is waiting for her to fall and lost control
Actually I have a theory that natalia and rosemary winters will become friends in the future events in the game because rose and natalia may understand and relate to each other because they are both superhuman that got experimented in and also if ever the Alex wesker's consciousness awoke in her I think capcom will replace wesker by natalia(as alex wesker's consciousness) as the new big villain in the future
