Please don't ever stop doing these trips, and please let us in on them to see, to experience and enjoy these clearly simple but absolutely spectacular moments. Thank you, Jake!
You might not believe this but (for better or worse) I'm the guy who designed your Burly Tank Bag and Saddle Bags. I might have mentioned this before in a different video. I'm a freelance industrial designer who worked with Burly between 2014 and 2017 to put the "Voyager" line out there. This comment is not for my ego, it's to let you know how much joy it brings me that after all that adventure, fuss, work and toil that I see someone using these bags exactly as I hoped they would be used. I truly hope they're working well for you. I've got so many stories about each one of those items.
Definitely for the better! Thank you for putting in all that hard work for such an amazing product man. Those bags will see so many adventures and if I'm lucky they'll be passed down to another generation someday 🙌 All the best
@@jakeridesaway Amazing! Please do let me know if you ever have problems with them or suggestions. I'm sure the people over at Burly would love to talk to you about them.
This channel is phenomenal in terms of how realistic portrayal of riding conditions & real life experience. No fancy stuff here, keeping it simple and sober.
Good day to you! I am a HONDA Cross Cub senior rider from Japan. Enjoying camping and touring and upload video. This is so nice adventure video! Awesome! Have a nice day my friend!
What a lovely video, love the Triumph I had a 1971 Bonnie, now have a Royal Enfield 500 Bullet and a BSA A50 Royal Star. Both good bikes for touring and camping, thank you for sharing and a Happy Birthday.
This was so cool. Love those little 2-lane roads when I ride. But down South we have so many 4 lane empty highways. They're fun too. Love going camping with my bike but I also pull a trailer with it and take all kinds of stuff. Also, always appreciate the camera set ups from people when they walk/ride ahead and set up just to film an approach. Ha.
Love this video. So chill. Also, Cold Spring is a delightful little Hudson Valley town. Highly recommend hiking to the Cornish Estates, and eating some tacos at Juanita’s Kitchen.
I'm italian. I did the route 66 from Chicago to l.a. and down to tijuana. 8400miles in 16 days (i did many deviations :) ) your videos are so beautifull
Your videos have a quality and freshness to them others have lost in their quest to mimic high dollar cinematic productions. Keep doing what you're doing. After I watch your videos, I feel like I was on the trip with you. Keep it real.
I just can't believe the stuff you carry on that bike! I have a Goldwing and I can't carry half that stuff! Maybe I need smaller stuff?! Anyways, glad to see you're back on the road, your videos are awesome works Jake! Ride safe in that insane NYC traffic.
Jake! Your videos are very relaxing to me. The way you film the surrounding lakes, towns, people with the solitude offing alone is gratifying. There's nothing better that quiet time after living ia a city.. Great job!!!
I've been watching quite some vlogs here and nothing satisfies me more than your vlogs. I started this to get inspired for my upcoming rides and yours is totally the right one I've got here. Expecting a lot more of such stuffs!!
cool video. being from the Adirondack area, forgot how nice up state is. love that tent. and i was glad to see the little stove in operation, i have almost the same one(haven't used it yet). belated happy B-Day. nice bike too. i ride a Honda Rebel 500, so it was good to see how you loaded up. anyway, looking forward to more.
Awesome to see some vids from where I grew up. Next time your up there check out sunken mine road. It’s super close to Fahnestock. Nice gravel road through the woods and a couple ponds and old abandoned mines if you know where to find them. Beautiful video. Makes me miss home.
Loved it Jake!!! All your films are just 100% right. Please share the music details: the steel guitar one was particularly fab! So cool all around. Kudos.
Jake my man, you know you have a little hippie in you. Right on brother. Could see you on an adventure bike however triumph is boss. Keep em coming. Happy birthday man, peace ✌️
Very nice. I have been through the Bear Mountain area many times and done both sides of the river, never get tired of it. I guess it was Thursday when I road back up to Rockport, MA from Virginia. Weather was less that awful, heavy rain and heavy traffic. I was so grateful to finally get on the Taconic Pkwy and finally breakout about 40 miles north of I-84. You could spend a couple of days just riding around the state and county roads and still not see it all. One of the rare occasions when I was actually glad to put the jiffy stand down, drink some beer and go to bed. Haha... whiskey? Nah, I tried that about 50 years ago and it did what it is supposed to do. Beer is more to my 70 year old metabolism. OTOH, when you don't have access to ice or someway to chill the brew, any port in a storm will do! FWIW, when I started riding, circa 1968, a new 650 Bonneville was about $795. Left foot brake and right shifter. I went with a BMW R60/5, instead. Everybody has motorcycle stories, thanks for sharing yours with us.
Happy birthday Man!, You brighten up my day with an upload of yours. Your videos are an absolute pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work, and have an amazing year ahead :)
Happy Birthday to Jake! The biker that inspires and motivates me to continue saving the money to buy my dream bike when the tough gets tough and get out there too! The biker who has shown me new music groups and their amazing songs, through its videos soundtracks! The biker that demonstrates the true essence of motorcycle travelling with an awesome Triumph motorcycle and his simply but brilliant videos! Thank you Jake!! 👍👍
First time at that site a few yrs ago and since my site wasn't motorcycle accessible. I was given a site all the way in the back of the property. Worked out perfectly. Great video.
Happy birthday, wish you many more to come. Living in KS, avoiding HWY’s like there is no tomorrow , cant imagine what it’s like riding in mega cities. Keep safe, and ride away once again.
Watching this, I feel like I’m watching a Hollywood movie about the appreciation and enjoyment that comes from a solitary lifestyle, enjoying nature, contemplation, and relaxation to the fullest. I just started watching your videos Jake, and thoroughly enjoy them. I find myself in a very relaxed state watching them. I also like that you keep it silent, allowing viewers like me to add to the story. It’s inspiring! PS: You’re not afraid of black bears while camping in that area?
This has motivated me to finish my solo bushcraft bag. Never thought to ride and camp. I’m going to need some soft saddle bags. Sorry you lost some gear, can always be replaced. You got my subscription keep up the great work. And thanks for the inspiration 🤘
I’ve been riding for many years mostly on a sportbike on LI, but have recently acquired a Harley sportster to kind of “switch gears”. Your videos inspire me to do a solo camping trip, even though my family thinks I’m a weird nut for considering it LOL..Keep the videos coming!
👍🏻 as always, an appreciative glimpse of one’s surroundings. Your videos are calming somehow. I live under an hour from Cold Springs and your videos get me thinking about buying another Triumph (sold mine 2 years ago).
Great to see you've made another bike trip man, I've shared your across America videos to so many,as I love the soundtrack and style of documenting the trip. Keep them coming man and enjoy👍
