Never thought a Ducati would need a heated seat option. Usually comes standard on any Ducati i've ever ridden.
Gold, sir, gold. Right in the nuts.
😂😂
The Italian passion coming right up yo ass
On my 950 Multi I do get legs heating in the summer but nothing on the seat. In the cold days, not enough heat to worm up your bottom.
Ktm also got that feature as well ..free from where i come from but the thing is..30°c is my nation normal temperature
Never looked twice at the Multistrada before this model, but loving the look of this. Would look great in my garage and been really thinking of getting it. Then I remembered I don't have a garage and more than a fiver in my bank account.
lmfaoooo
Same lol 😂
You have a Fiver Luxury
You need a quid for a feed brother?
Pmsl same here man 😂🤣
Karen Von Grumble 😂
Karen?
And he can easily do three more inches!
I really like this format of review, just get a few people on the same bike one after the other. That way you get multiple perspectives rather than just one.
Boothy, Chris and Fagan need to do a BBB together would be amazing.
It’s happening...
@@FortyFourTeeth 🍆
Yes so yes.
Three of them getting eggy :-)
See I prefer just the two originals. Boothy is too obvious and is like a bad version of Richard Hammond if that's possible.
"Low Gear Now......Shove it up your arse!".....this is exactly the high-brow journalism I come to 44T for! :D
“Should have brought a ruck sack for some cheddar”
Multistrada... are my panniers a joke to you?
"..in case your wife is really fat," 🤣😂 Boothy settling into the 44T way of life quite nicely.
Great review, and I agree that bikes like these don't give you the horn when looking at them, but ride them on the road and they make you smile, and make so much sense.
Statham on a Saturday evening.. what more can a man ask for 👌
I would ask Borris to let us go out on our machines..
@@ondrej185 why are you asking anyone to go out? Just fucking go out.
@23:29 ”That is human shit!” cracked me up and made my evening. 🤣
@2:20 The one thing that I`ve learned since getting the license 3yrs ago is that birds are to bikers, like moose are to cars. They`re bloody out to get ya!
That pheasant would mess him up. I had to slow the video down bcs I only caught a glimpse of it...
Also jumped back and slowed the video down to work out just what that was!
Moose hurt more. Actually I’ve had more close calls with bears.
I hit a pheasant at 20 ish mph in the dark, was an unlit road, so no time to avoid it. It bounced off my thigh, it must have been just taking off, just as he saw me, and I hit the brakes as I saw him lol. There was a bit of blood on my thigh, hopefully the poor bugger survived
Well I once hit a peasant standing still at the lights!
To be fair he was walking up to me, hand in the air saying stuff like step off and show me your drivers license..
Boothie - "I felt the suspension get stiffer - definitely felt it - that settings for if your wife is really fat" Loved it!
I loved Boothy's section. I found out more about what he thinks about the roads, area, and any local questions he had than I did about the bike. Made me proper laugh! More Boothy reviews please!
Really looking forward to trying this! Looks incredible 🤩
You’ll be blown away dad
Love this format! 3 riders, 3 different inputs. I wouldn’t mind if you get Mossy on it too. As always a great fun video 👌🏽.
I had a Pikes Peak for a year. I realised I never looked over my shoulder to look at it after a ride. Got a Rocket 3 and a sore neck now.
Love this style - the three of you comparing back to back works so well. Bring on the KTM!
Can we have all reviews done like this from now on, with opinion from all of you guys, makes for great content as can hear each individual opinion 👍🏻
Agreed, although we have to realise that getting to this stage has been a hard slog. however now we're here, let the next phase of 44T begin. Can't wait.
Good point. I agree.
Obviously pending can all get access, I understand can't always be done when it's an international launch but if dealers in UK wiling to lend newest bike might be way forward
@@lukepayne3295 Hi Luke, It's not because bikes haven't been available, but lack of group. Jason has been doing the reviews because Sue has her job to do.
Our support means we can have two, full time people riding, and reviewing, together.
@@westers1514 yeah that's all I'm suggesting, possiblity to get group reviews like this, I understand they all have other jobs and can't always get together.
“...this heated seat could laser piles...”... 😂
I’m on my 5th Multistrada, I’ve owned very sort of bike over the years but this Ducati model is the best all rounder by far.
thank fu.ck for this video on a saturday night. a welcome reprieve from watching shite tv with the missus. gonna sneak off and watch this on the bog, in peace.
How was the paperwork?
@@FortyFourTeeth tedious
can't wait to see the KTM against this
Hopefully somewhere hot, with beers.
Throw in the XR as well. They’re weapons.
@@BaronVonGrumble holy fuck who’s this dude commenting? Baron Von Who? I remember a guy with a name like that used to be on UA-cam! 😘
@@adamniswonger8015 agree - old dude ripped around Sydney Motorsport Park on his XR as quick as anyone else, and was quicker than me on my S1000R (but that was probably because I as shite 😆).
its called all new 2021 KTM super advanture
Do you want to say “the ancient, pagan fly tipping site of Stonehenge” any more times Al? It’s a personal favourite of mine as well 😅
I don't know what is better. The individual reviews, or the ranting / off topic rambling from the lads.
Great review lads, took the V4s out yesterday Whilst getting new tyres for mine. What an absolute weapon of a bike. Didn’t think I would be convinced with the V4 as always been a fan of V-twins. How wrong was I, Ducati have smashed it out the park with this bike!! The engine braking from this v4 engine is perfection. 👏👌
GS owners: the seat needs lowering. Multistrada owners: the seats needs to be raised.
The V4 have an option to lower it or rise the seat, like the GS's.
Great reviews guys (and gal), with many reviewers it’s rare that they admit to their mistakes and own up to changing knowledge/opinions. When you first slated the radar function last year I thought you were off your heads to criticise Ducati for adding a strong feature to keep riders safe, so it’s refreshing to see that you have acknowledged how useful it is. I’m especially impressed that Baroness Sue Von Bumble has humbled herself to admit the MTSV4S is better than his beloved GS, German efficiency mixed with Italian passion trumps German engineering every time. Keep up the great work guys
The 1260s wasn't exactly a slow bike. One of the quickest bikes A to B iv ridden. Faster than my 2019 SAS that I owned at the time. Very very accomplished bike and that was a rival for a GS. Multistraders have been mint for a few years now
"Karen von grumble" 😆😆😆
If Betty Boohthroyd hasn’t broken any bones after testing it- it’s a winner.
I really like the format how all 3 of you reviewed it back to back. All 3 made great points, awesome video!
I'm glad the rear brake got some criticism. I don't think it works that well. It's a bit strange when the rest of the bike is so perfect
Boothys rambling is hilarious 😆
A bike that does it all. Now she does each thing perfectly. The 19" on the front fixed the motard look. Now there's a real competitor to the GS.
Boothies clearly never been to the gorge on a Friday and Saturday night 😂
This edit worked really well. Think this new lineup is going to be fantastic this year. You've got through lockdown without killing each other, looking forward to great things now going forward. Hopefully with a few Mossy cameos too. It's been a fucking tough time for most & it's looked a pain in the arse for you lot at times to keep putting videos out, but I reckon loads of people love what you do and it made a difference. In lockdown I've basically watched everything again going back years & it's given me a lot of laughs. So cheers.
Thanks Ron 👊🏼
“Massive lump between your legs, ha ha” (As he rides past a pub called The Bell 😂)
Your best vid for a while, not trying to be funny (and just being cringe instead), proper solid bike content. More like this please.
I always liked the multistrada series but since I had a 650 twin it never appealed to me to go for another twin that's just bigger and more powerful, I wanted to try something different, and whilst on the used market the 1260s and the BMW S1000XR are the same price, the XR's sportiness won me over. That said if the XR didn't exist this bike would definitely be 2nd on the list. In my opinion though this bike is more comparable to the 1290 Super Duke GT rather than the 1290 Super Adventure. With this version the engine and technology would've finally fit my tastes but then Ducati softened up the bike even more, made it more into an half assed ADV than a sporty tourer. I accept it's a great bike but there is just something special about that XR chassis and that engine with all the BMW tech.
To hear Chris say the V4S bests his GS is a huge compliment. Can this be true. Multistrada V4S, “Giant Killer” or more appropriately GS for Giant Slayer!!
What a relief to see you guys out of the studio and back on a bike again.
I am in the market for an adventure bike. Had my mind made up for the 2021 gsa, but now I have to go test drive the multi!! Great review!
love the triple person review format
It's Alistair impersonating Chris and a northerner.
Everything I love with 44 teeth in one video. Awesome
just heard Murry walker has died ,,he was if not the best racing commentator
There's nothing wrong with the car except that it's on fire #legend
Damn 3 wise (or not so wise) men riding an Italian 👍👍👍👍 great to watch on a winters evening!!!!!!
Funny, informative, very entertaining, good to have you back Chris.
Just rewatched this as well as some other ones. Made me laugh again . More of this kind of stuff please . Keep it up lads 😊
the last rider is like a mucky teenager ... love it
Bought one...bought one...bought one...and I luvvvvv it!!!
14:48 I was taught to thank lolly pop men as well. It's a dying art sadly. Lol.
Can we please have a new 44T sticker/keyring/hoodie - "Get Your Chugs Out"
4 in 1 bike. Jack of all trades. Luxury bike with a luxury smooth engine
Very cool roads at the end. Love all 3 of you testing in this format.
Multistrada is the best all rounder hands down, a Superbike for old men !!
Things to do when you see a 44Teeth thumbnail in your feed...
1) immediately click link
2) give thumbs up
3) get lube
4) enjoy the amazing content
5) put lube away
You guys are making me drool for mine, can't wait for delivery of it. Go Ducati Multistrada V4S.
Boothy riding it like a diesel on an eco run. 😂 You guys should see what off road this bike has been doing. Bloody nuts.
That bird at 2.21 🤣🤣🤣
Really great to get three different perspectives and opinions of the same bike in one vid. Also helps that you’re all of different statures. 😂
Great review guys as always! Never really thought of the Ducati before, however it sounds like a real proposition against the GS! My only real concern is the loss of shaft drive and low tank range compared to a GSA, if long distance touring is your thing! But I will certainly be picking one up for a test ride as I am in the market for a change!
That Rooster Pheasant nearly got Al @2:21
I reckon it's a very clever move that they've packed 150ish bhp into 10,000rpm rather than 12 or 14k - the fun bits are easier to get at on the road 👍
Last Ducati with shit brakes, the P4 equipped Multistrada 1200 circa 2010-2014, those calipers were a questionable call for a touring bike ridden two up and loaded. A set of M50s fixes the issue quite well...which Ducati did in 2015.
I have to say that the wing mirrors are a thing of beauty!
Great video guys, made me chuckle, good to see someone giving it the beans 😬😬
👍
Great 3 way chaps! nice to have a unique perspective from everyone of you.
Liking the Statham/Perkins/Bublé back to back format!
A comparison between the Ducati, The KTM 1290 and the BMW S1000XR would be interesting to see.
And Boothy didn’t break any more bones😂😂
We just gonna gloss over him about smacking a bird at 2:22 ?? 🤣
My number one choice for touring.
Plus is finally sensible servicing intervals, minus eats fuel compared to the last one. the last one was fast, this looks faster!.
Agree with everything. I even admired the Fagan no-flinch @02:20
But, but, no desmo!
Which makes all the sense in the world for a bike like this.
Desmo hasn't made sense in like the past 40 years or more. It's just tradition, they keep using it because it's their history. In the last few years Ducati has been switching their tech, V4, spring guided valves ... probably due to the Germans guiding them. It's hard to do that because it means that you recognize that you've been doing it wrong for all that time
@@ALIENdrifter66 the Desmo only make Sense in the Panigale v4 r wich revs up to 16500 rpm,i no one Other Bike make the Desmo sense.Like you say right.Specially in this Multistrada is Desmo absollutley unecessery. Now can Ducati give the Maintaine of the Valve of 60000km wich is a huge improvment the maintain cost for this Bike are by far better as the old one and eaven better as the comoetitors
Boothy is a legend.
Lovely when you laddies do the side by side reviews like this.
💙❤💚🧡🏴👍👍👍 thanks for the video 44'lads. Being honest, I was confused when i saw jason statham doing a MCN vid 🙄. 44teeth is 'THEE' best UK moto channel.
"get your chugs out" haha made me giggle! great entertainment and informative, thanks
Well done guys. Great multiple reviews of the Ducati, with everyone in agreement that this is certainly a bike worth looking at in the top end of the adventure bike market. I definitely agree that the fuel range should have been more substantial than allocated on this model. It looks great and acts like a sport bike when you want to have fun, and I really hope that Ducati have a winner with this new Multistrada. With all that said and done, i will stick with getting a GSA as I really appreciate the fuel range it will afford me. If I could, I would also have the Multistrada as my hooligan bike. That pair of bikes in my garage would be the ultimate for me. Would love to test one out, but it's 1200km to my nearest dealer!! Great video guys, and keep up the great work. G'day from Oz.
Brilliant video. Enjoyed the 3 different views. So far the Multistrada is the only new bike I feel like buying! 👍
The amount I hated the multi before thirty and amount I lust after it after thirty are directly inverse.
Looks like Ducati will be releasing a Pikes Peak model with a SSSA and a 17" front wheel...sloped front tank and Ohlins suspension 😁...cannot wait for you guys to compare this model
Best way to start a Sunday morning!!
Waiting to see what's up with the supposed Pikes Peak model. Spy shots, if that is what it is, show 17's and single swing arm. I love the rawness of my 2014 S model and I think the 1260's look better more aggressive. I just wasn't blown away visually when I saw the new v4 in person. I still wish they could have managed to make the radar area look a little better. Technology looks epic though.
I just saw one at the dealer. I agree it just doesn't look that nice. Sales guys at the dealer said they all preferred the previous generation's styling
@@temptingfate759 And all those dealer guys i talked to said they prefer to ride the v4 which I found interesting.
@@ClarkAnd my dealer was pretty honest. He said half the techs preferred riding the previous model because of the raw grunt and v-twin feel. The other half preferred the smoothness of the new engine. They all agreed the new model is excellent it just comes down to preference
Great review - think you undersold it! Didn’t know you’d all be getting a leg over !
It sounds like it’s a pretty awesome bike. Would be interested to see it off road as well! 😁👍
A pillow to cover my Casey 😆
The radar cruise looks brilliant! I knew you guys would come around eventually!
Been waiting for this for a while, been wanting to see what you made of the radar assisted systems!
5.32 VTEC kicking in! Sound naughty!
Great review, loved the format
V4 DUC POWER, thank you and many regards to UK! 👍
Jebus, that bike looks HUGE. Love the blind-spot warning light on the mirrors. But cruise radar on a bike just seems wrong. It basically encourages a rider to pay less attention: Statham joking about snapping pics; Karen about futzing with the dash when the bike goes into hard braking. You just know people are going to do these exact things instead of paying attention.
Love the format of 3 views in one video, equally love the different styles of rambling in amongst the review of a bike - FECAL MATTERS! LOW GEAR NOW!
Only press bike I really miss - my piles need another searing (thanks for the mention!)
Someone was excited to ride sumit that wasn’t a Triumph 😂👌
You guys have the same twisted humor as me, Im subscribed (again) and this time im in for the long haul. I really enjoy this review, I need to get me a test ride in soon I think. Need to see if this pegs the fun meter and then devide that by the chub factor and see if this could be my next bike.
Awesome review and love the tag teaming...
