Fantastic !!!!! It is so nice to see folks who still value the lifestyle of days gone by and are willing to renovate and renew older homes in the 'Old City'. I am 70 years old and was born and raised in the Old City and still live in the area. I will never live any where else. Kudos to you Ms. Bajan, I wonder if you are related to Marco Bajan who owned and developed property in the old city. One of the first rentals I had as a young man was owned my Marco. Probably around 1973 ???? Thanks again for preserving our City.
Oh My God... That is So Beautiful... ❤❤❤ That was My Grandparents Home, Peter and Ivy Scott. Grama sold it in 1970 (if memory serves me) and I have many fond memories of Grampa and Gramas home. My Grampa, hand dug the basement, as there was none, when they bought it. He would crawl under the house, every night after supper, and dig and drag the dirt out, until he finally had the basement dug out. The last time I was in Nanaimo, I went by to see the house, and was horrified to see it looking like a Crack-Shack... I was sick to my Stomach, to see it in that condition.
