Just another heads up: minor gameplay spoilers, if you care.
Hi
Number 1 should have been how short the game is because if you take out the exploring and the backtracking to the ship the story isn't really that long. My friend beat the game in 1 and a half days on jedi master at the start and turning up the difficulty to grand master halfway through to beat it exploring each planet to basically 100%, dont know how but he pointed it out to me and I agree kinda thought there would be more since the hype was huge and it was $80
gameranx I’m playing the game on story mode is it’s too easy I sometimes die but after unlocking the force abilities the game become easy.
coulda put that in the video :(
I just wanted some sweet jedi gear not just the panchos honestly it's a bit of a let down the force unleashed had some sweet attire
accidentally starting an elevator that takes forever to reach its destination
and then realising you have to go back up the elevator because you don't have the right abilities to get through a door
This is the worst! I just went and cooked myself a 3-course meal whilst I waited to go back up and down again
Dear GOD this is always frican painful.
Especially the ones in the zeffo ice caves. They go up, but not down
And going through the horribly tedious sliding mechanics back down...
No lie, my friend and I spent an HOUR taking turns just to beat that motherfuckin ogdo bogdo or whatever it’s called. Realized 45 minutes in that you didn’t have to beat it for the story but by then it was personal.
HAHAHAHA SAME AF
It was so easy tho took me like tries
I thought it was crucial to the story and after I finally turned down difficulty to beat it, I realised I didn’t even need to fuck with it and that, realistically, it was meant for later in the game anyway
Lol I feel bad for u u went back and faced it after ilum, it didn’t land a hit and I fucking smashed it
NAHABAB YESS
Reaching the Mantis on Dathomir is pretty easy for me. It's Zeffo that is so damn difficult to find your back. I was just glad I was abducted by a bounty hunter and getting rescued felt like a shortcut back to the Mantis.
Hmm imagine getting abducted by bounty hunter while fleeing dathomir, now that's a rescue
Lmao same
Dothomir is the best designed for me!
Kinda late, but the ice caves saved me. You can go from one side of the map to another like that 🫰
@@peanutpuppyboiprayforukrai1072 i got thats scomp link and got back without the ice caves by going through the empire bulding and it was so confusing, wanted to kms
My pet peeves were:
1) highly inconvenient meditation spots
2) long respawn timer when killed by an enemy
3) enemies can disrupt your attacks but you can't disrupt theirs (unless you use the force)
Yup. Gave the game a 6/10. It's highly overrated
Finally someone pointing out the biggest problem in this game: The Combat System. It is awful. It is clunky. In 90% of cases I have a feeling I am not in control of my own character. Every enemy in this game has faster attack animation than your own fastest attack and every enemy hit staggers you while your own attack do not stagger anyone. Do not get me wrong, I love SW and I love this game but the combat system is AWFUL. In what world parry/dodge commands do not cancel your own attack sequence? It is so frustrating to see an enemy to start an attack animation and then you realise that you have queued in your own attacks and they are slower than your enemies attacks and you can not parry/dodge anymore due to not being able to cancel your own attack sequence. OMG!
Just saying, if you are fast enough, then during their unblockables, you can hit them cancel it out. Works sometimes though
Sounds like a skill issue to me
Oggdo Boggo was a hero he was trying to save us from the pink poncho
WTF are you talking about?!?! It's the BEST poncho! Nothing better then rocking the pink poncho with a pink metal saber, pink blade and pink BD-1 and facing the final boss .
DarthTach you have my mind
But bogdo was a pretty annoying boss
I dont care i love the pink poncho he's so cute
I hate all the ponchos, think there silly but my completionest self makes me collect them anyway.
"Hm, a frog with a health bar. Shouldn't be too difficult"
*1hr later*
"Oggdo Bogdo, i've come to bargain"
"I understood that reference"
It is inevitable.
You made my day man with that comm :D
Hilarious. Job well done. I literally, in a literal sense, laughed out loud. (+)
I'm having flashbacks already... Damn that frog. 😂
I’m a bit surprised that the zeffo map wasn’t on here. I’ve heard a lot of people complain about how complicated and hard to get around it is and i whole heartedly agree
Git gud. It's easy
@@ramboeastwood1522 agreed, I just use the map and it’s fine

And I agree with you. No compass? Fail. No ability to set a marker? Fail. Holomap looks like it was taken on a a space potato??

@@handroids1981 nope holomap is dope and works just fine. You just suck at the game. Git gud
My first encounter with Ogdo, was actually in a very civilized manner. The great frog approached me and in polite tone remarked:
"Excuse me, sir, but it would appear that you dropped something".
In the same polite manner, I responded:
"Why, thank you, kind sir, but I do not see anything. What it is that you claimed that I have dropped?"
After these words Ogdo smiled:
"Your ass, sir. Let me hand it back to you!"
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
I consider oggdo bogdo one of the most vile villains in video game history, way worse than sephiropth
Holy crick, I just about died, I laughed hard enough that my parents thought I might die
@Spooderman But he’s easy to beat if you know he won’t attack you if you stay in the entrance to his lair. Just tempt him over roll out attack and roll back over and over until he’s done
I'm dead 😂🗿
Me after running away from the Ogdo Bogdo and coming back a few missions later: My powers have doubled since the last we met Bogdo.
Good..Twice the pride, double the fall
I’m howling bro 😂
I came for the first time after completing the game and getting the dual lightsaber
I did that last night! Went in there and wrecked its shit!
When i finished the game the first thing i did was to go and f*ck ogdo bogdo
The thing that I hate the most is Cere’s eyes... they’re huge and scary
An Alien on the Internet she doesn’t blink either...
@Phillip Scott true
And don't forget her half-rendered face during cutscenes
That’s how she looks in real life.
He looks like the Montgomery flea market dude
When it comes to getting back to the ship, I don't actually mind having to run back. The biggest problem is getting lost along the way, we need a waypoint system in Jedi Survivor
Just use tha map
@@roguerangerproductions It's not viable to have to check it and decipher it every two minutes. Especially when you can be attacked at any moment.
Even GTA has a waypoint system. Games are meant to be fun, no one wants an orienteering simulator in their Star Wars game.
@@The_D0C70R I see what you mean,
They should have a GTA-like HUD map option.
yup, I delete game 10 min ago because of that. F"CK IT IM DONE
So I didn't struggle that hard with anything, I mean I died a bunch of certain bosses but I made it through. The WORST PART, THE HARDEST MOB, was definitely the little red rats that came in groups of 5 or 6. I hated those things so much.
Use your sprinting attack dodge roll out repeat
@@matthewturner4028 what's your advice for night brothers? I just got the climbing tool that you need so I'm doing good but they still get me sometimes, like the undead night sisters are cake, the big ass thing you have to just parry to get a square finisher are cake but I still haven't found a good weakness other than force pull and slice em up or I just force pull and throw them at each other or push off the ledge as I let a burning rageful fuck you out from my gritted teeth 🗿
I appreciate those rats after the bane spiders
@@clouded_vision5517 I used a combination of two abilities for those guys. 1: the force pull (preferably the one that pulls multiple enemies) 2: when all enemies are in your face use the double lightsabers zone attack. (I think it’s L1 R1 but it’s been a minute.)
@@clouded_vision5517 There is also a move where Cal just stabs a singular guy when pulled to him. It’s a one shot but costs force.
I feel like it literally takes forever to respawn.
Today is my second day playing the game. I died 4 to 5 times facing oggdo bogddo the frog. Then I realise maybe I could beat him. But I just skipped that part. Because of the intense forever time to respawn. I just moved on and ahead and skipped him. Sad
Yeah, I play it in console as well and I seriously reconsidered buying the PS5 when it releases just because of the damn respawn time

They should have landing pads at some places in the game so u can call in the mantis to them. Would be really nice
I feel like the animation for healing that screwed up almost all my boss fights in my first playthrough. I think that’s more frustrating than the spiders or the easiest Legendary Beast.
It’s slow as fuck like he actually hit the pause button on himself every animation is too slow
Can’t even tell u how many times i died because inputting the stim was so goddamn slow. I would literally have to run far away from the enemy to heal 😭
The worst is when the animation is almost over and you get hit again so it cancels it out. Back to square one. This was my biggest gripe with the game.
@@rimfirecommando I don't see either why BD-2 would think "oh so he just called for a stim, but before I could apply it he got hit. Surely he doesn't need one anymore now."
It’s super slow, I listened to the tip thing that said “slow down to heal.”
Started doing that and it worked really well. Force slow and heal so you can move around again.
Those damn rats on zeffo were annoying. Not that they were hard, just that they would pop out of the ground and deal damage
Ikr
The worst offenders were the 5 on tomb of milkrull that are underground waiting to ambush you while u battle the electrobaton purge trooper!! They made me so mad!!!
Unknown Legends there no treat for me til I stand a meter from the edge and they jump me of it.
And the one that jumps out in the dark...little bastard scared the shit outta me
@Ruben Feneser if this is your hardest enemy type
Good luck with bosses like this lightsaber dude on dathomir
I hate when I die I'm rewarded with a 10 min loading screen (on ps4 at least)
Yep I hated that from the beggining of the game as well
Get pc
@@alonzowalker1 I will when I have $700+
Especially when the next meditation point is stupidly far away
Just don’t die
For me the sliding sections have been most annoying. Just the lack of control and sometimes just not making jumps when it felt more like the games fault than lack of my skill
A hundred times this. Some of the icy slides were just the worst, combined with the wind effects and when you have to constantly use them in Zeffo because the lifts only get you up?? Like what the hell.
For some reason, most of the monster type enemies in this game are designed in rounded shapes, like the giant frogs and spiders, makes it really difficult to spot when they're whirring up for an attack. I can deal with Stormtroopers easily enough but the giant bugs...now I know why people are afraid of spiders.
Seems like no one else has picked up on the underwater chest animations, where BD1 stays on your shoulder whilst rummaging in the crate.
And him saying, UNDERWATER, watchya got there buddy. While the same rummaging animation plays. I get that it's 'small', but this is a triple A title, and nobody thought to undo that?! Completely immersion breaking.
Yep this annoyed me too, major oversight by the developers. The BD-1 animation should of just been for the very first crate you find and the rest just let the lid open.
@@jhightower and it's really funny because they manage to get the Ninth Sister's cybernetic leg right (when this game was set after the comics where she lost it, something only comic book readers would notice) and had attention to detail on that...but they didn't see the whole underwater BD-1 thing lmao
They might have had too little time to start polishing all that little stuff, I’m not sure though
And then afterwards Talks underwater with the rebreather in saying "what's ya find?" Like he just isn't under the water
The wildlife is deadlier than every type of stormtrooper combined.
The Purge troopers that wield two batons were a hell of a struggle for me :/ at least until some force upgrades
same in real life also, most animals are way deadlier than humans
Not for me man i found the purge troopers to be harder i was cutting through all the wildlife had a few deaths though
sithis36
I hate those guys too.
Their hitboxes are also pretty broken at times. Far too often have I seen my lightsaber ghost through them and get a baton to the face as a result.
Seriously everytime I spawn and I see a group of Stormtroopers I just start holding right trigger especially when they're right next to a ledge
It makes me happy knowing I'm not the only one that struggled for an hour defeating a giant frog
I’d like to add to the point of killing your last enemy to get your XP back. I hate how the target is glowing yellow. It hides the unblockable red power move of the enemy if it immediately attacks you in that way.
Opening underwater crates... the crates animates as if BD-1 jumps in but he’s staying on my shoulders. Bugs me more than it should.
Annoyed me too! How hard is it to have 2 different animations!!
Exactly lol how did they overlook that
Thought it was just me
Question is, why does bd stay on your shoulder underwater
All they had to do was cut the shaking. Let the lid open......done.
Things I hate:
1- the crappy sliding mechanic
2- getting back to the ship
3- the confusing Holographic map
4-Graphic glitches and bugs
Adolfo Castañón don’t forget the convoluted and obtuse puzzles
Adolfo Castañón same for me 😭 graphic glitches are horrible...
Adolfo Castañón omg bruh my glitches became freakn minecraft boxes followin me and i was literally like tf when did i invite this shit to my game
I dont have a problem with the sliding
5 star list
You forgot one more thing, this game is great for gamers who like solving puzzles. If you don't like puzzles this is not the game for you. I expected more fighting the empire instead of puzzles.
That’s kinda bad advice I hate puzzle games but this is one of my favorite games of all time
@@matthewturner4028 me too id never played a puzzle game and this is my fave game of all time
There really aren’t that many puzzles tbh, and they are usually pretty unique and fun. God of war has a way bigger problem with this in my opinion
If you dont like platforming, this isn’t for you though lmao
@@Marius_ae true about the amount of puzzles, which god of war are you talking about?
I enjoy a good puzzle from time to time but some of the puzzles in this game are just frustrating (looking at you Zeffo)
Something i really dislike (or missed?) is the lack of loot. Like all you get is lightsaber parts (which is cool) and poncho colors. At some point i didnt even bother getting the poncho loot. I wish i could wear some jedi robe, armors etc.
When I jump to grab a rope and Cal decides he’s just going to jump right passed it and not grab the rope
Broseph I can relate to that. Took me a number of tries to get it right.
Oh my, that's the most annoying thing on the sliding parts.
Broseph or ziplining when bd doesn’t do the thing
Happens all the time ur not the only one
There will be something to eventually help you with that
The most annoying thing *HAS* to be how long it takes to respawn. Also, I have a PS4 and the game *NEVER* lags out, unless I enter a new area on an elevator.
GeT A pC
jkjk, it is very frustrating. It even is on PC at times when you're on a boss fight and you die over and over. Must be hell on consoles
same
Joaquin RP It’s pretty bad, but it’s not horrible. I noticed it’s a lot shorter in the middle of boss fights.
So true
Same on PS4 Pro here. A few of the earlier sections became tedious after repeatedly dying and having to sit through that load (Oggdo Boggdo). Thought it might be improved w/ the patch that downloaded when I installed the game this week similarly to what Bloodborne patch did drastically cutting down the load times with an early patch. Maybe it’ll be fixed in the future, although what I read from the developers about it not having NG+ or much replay value it could be a moot point getting a load fix patch for people who have already played it.
Navigating Zeffo to get back to your ship the first time is my biggest peeve because you’re forced to go down into the ice caves to access three elevators that annoyingly can only be used to go UP.
Getting back to the Mantis is realistic, but I wish it meant traversing new territory.
most of the time the game allows you to take a shortcut
Who would win
A powerful jedi padawan
Or a 3 eyed froggy boi

@@Tri-xi what, what boss fight are you talking about?
My least favorite thing is the absence of a stealth type mode or attack other than the attack from above. Jedi are masters of stealth and we see it a lot in the movies so why do I have to charge in to every battle? Why do I have to face every single stormtrooper head on.
Ikr
Mans speaking truth here
Maybe saving things for another game? Maybe
I kept reaching for a "crouch" button that didn't exist, especially when there was a low wall that I could have easily hid behind or a corner I could've covered.
BoredMillenials EXACTLY, then I remember that I only have the option to slaughter my enemies all together. I take the L and force dash attack to at least take out one before the madness
I remember when I was first exploring Kashyyyk, and got jumpscared tf out by the big spider. I think I had a heart attack. And then I went back after I finished the game and still got jumpscared.
I’m horribly afraid of spiders and that moment legitimately had me cowering in fear for the entire rest of my time on Kashyyyk. When I entered that room, I expected an enemy to appear in the middle given the weird looking spot on the ground and the dead stormtrooper, so I walked straight into the middle… and nothing happened. I shrugged my shoulders and got the upgrade on the table nearby. Walking back out of the room is when that fucking spider jumped down on me from above . The idea that they could come out from the canopy at me is bad enough, but reading the description of the wyyyshok in the databank told me that they ALSO wait underground in small holes to jump out at prey. So, basically, even when there’s open sky above me, they can still fuck my day up.
Every single time I was in any kind of jungle space I was on edge. Luckily the albino wyyyshok room basically told me what was gonna happen but there was that spot right before the giant zipline down into the lake where one jumped me and gave me ANOTHER heart attack. By the time I finished on Kashyyyk I had their spawns burned into my head and literally braced for impact every time I had to walk past.
Funnily enough the Bane Back Spiders on Dathomir never really freaked me out anywhere near as much as the Wyyyshoks did. I’m praying Jedi Survivor doesn’t have giant fucking spiders… give me snakes instead, they’ll give me a heart attack but at least I won’t loathe looking at it while I’m fighting them.
@@HS-mn6jc wait till you find the albino wyyyshok boss!
@@HS-mn6jc The first spider I encountered was up the upgrade area for your droid. I stepped in the middle and got caught in a web, then when I was trying to escaped it, the spider comes out of nowhere and attacks me. It was so annoying killing it, just as annoying as security droids

Yeah, I tried over and over as I really wanted that pink poncho
Or....beat it after 4 hours.
There is a glitch where you can go to the cave where hes at and just back paddle into the cave. For some reason he can't hit you if you back space into the opening behind him.
Can I just say the most annoying thing is when the enemy is glowing yellow and the do an unblockable attack and you can’t see the red glow
Just slow them and hit them as quickly as possible
For real, we need a Sekiro style visual aid, whether for that situation or a case of being attacked off camera. Seems dumb to have the “unblockable” visual attached to an enemy.
Andrew Russell have you ever seen a purge trooper lol
@@thecobras1114 it still works. Even if he hurts you, you get all your health and force back and you can then see the unlockable attacks
This one pisses me off too. Especially on bosses
Okay I agree so much with number 10 like I spent an hour trying to find the mantis on the second mission (I was stuck in the first tomb for most of the time). I also went to dathomir right after and I spent like 5 minutes there before saying “I’m out” I think the big spiders on kashyyk are the worst enemy tbh

The thing I absolutely hated were those damn Shock Troopers. I always get so frustrated fighting them I just Force Slow then roll behind and Super Force Push them off cliffs. Literally the only enemies I hated in the entire game.
I went to Dathomir immediately after Bogano because it sounded cool. But I didn't have double jump so I could only clear it till I reached the Stranger. But luckily I got my hands on the dual lightsaber and that made the game even more fun.

A good thing it's that the game gives you tips for defeating enemies, like for the ogdo you can use force pull and cut his tongue, or for the nydak on dathomir if you parry 3 attacks you get an insta execution

7:38 what i hate the most about losing XP is not the losing part, but that golden glow the enemy gets, specially when it's a boss. a lot of times they try an unblockable attack, and the only way to know is when they glow red, WHICH DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN THEY'RE GLOWING GOLD!!!!!!! so a lot of times i get hit solely because of a design choice.
might be nitpicky (yes there is an audio cue but it's almost indistinguishible from background SFX) but i think those little details are important when you are making a combat system focused on timing and giving you visual cues.
Fun fact: there is a slight fast travel only in kashyyk you find the Shyyo bird in the origin lake and you can interact and go back to the meditation point
Trying to get out of the Zeffo Tombs is a pain in the ass, it took me atleast an hour for both :/
Same it's too hard for like the first few levels

I had to use youtube
Renai Williams me too I had no choice 😂
Ok but the worst thing is killing off the whole map and forgetting that resting restarts all of the enemies
Its crazy bro
That’s what makes it challenging tho
Seriously bitch about having a challenge then don't play the game
@@Reaper-wj2jw lmao who are you to tell me I’m bitching about a challenge the highest difficulty on this game wasn’t too hard, I’m just saying it was annoying cuz instead of walking through the map and seeing the world u focus on killing the same enemy 5 times in 15 minutes
but that's what makes the game challenging, just like the mechanics of darksouls or sekiro
Not Enough force power, or not being able to recuperate it quick enough.
I could see Ogdo bogdo being hard for a new player, the regular frog guys gave me trouble when I was new and I was playing on Jedi master. After my first play through though I was really good. I only had 3 stims and beat trilla. Second play through I did Jedi master again and got even better to where I can beat bosses without taking damage but some of their moves can still get me so I can’t do it 100% of the time. 3rd play through I beat on grandmaster mode and the enemies do a lot of damage but the combat is easy for me at this point after playing it so much. Ogdo bogdo gets his cheeks clapped.
BD-1: *Jumps into a crate for the 60th time*
Cal: “WHOA WHAT? HEY!”
Lmaoooo
Short term memory loss or something lmao
😂😂😂
that's one thing I hate is there hardly feels like there's ever any reward or loot. it's barely satisfying when you do beat an enemy, you fight more animals and dodge roll on the floor than using the force to fight sith or the empire. you have no choice or character arch between light side or dark side, the force powers are bland and unexciting. I really wish it was just a little bit more like force unleashed mechanics and pacing with the same tone and visuals of fallen order. I hate how on rails the game feels too even tho you freely traverse and return to location's to explore, still feels very on rails and not open world at all
@@mikec3201 I agree... The loot system is terrible... And combat can get frustrating at times... Also getting back to your ship is a pain in the ass... But I loved everything else about the game...

Honestly never encountered that problem I think I just got lucky or maybe I’m just blind I remember going back and swing PLENTY of normal jest I missed that I swear I passed on the main story🤣🤣🤣
Yes
I love the fact they dont have fast travel. I dont save in-between objectives. So fighting your way to your goal. Then walking back in that barren wasteland you have created by massacring everything in your path is fun. Plus i can find stuff i overlooked while i was giving in to the darkside
I like how you practically didn't spoil anything :) good vid and I agree on most things! What bugs me the most till now (ive played for 6 hours or so) is the holomap. Its confusing to me, with all the levels, and not being able to see the entire map once you've explored everything. I find it hard to navigate sometimes
The Map let's it down. No waypoint and just no on screen nav at all and having to press the track pad every 30 secs got annoying FAST.
@@mikeadams7904 yeah exactly
Bruh getting out of the Zeffo temple was so annoying
It took me like almost 4 hours
I got lost there so many times...
Took longer than doing the actual damn level
How! It’s obvious!
You guys dont use the map or like idk just remember where you've been?

It ends! I want more
RESPAWN DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB!
I’m hoping for dlc and a sequel
Grzly _ sadly they said they weren’t planning on DLC but still hoping for a sequal
There's room for a sequel and improvements

@@DMVGREY Sekiro is the better version of this game, don't get me wrong I finished this game and 100% all the planet's but Sekiro is better in every aspect except for theme (star wars being cooler than shinobi) fps is a HUGE plus for fallen order though, If they put as much detail and made the game as long as Sekiro it would be my game of the year. Sekiro being over 50 hours while I finished fallen order in 20 :/
I like how you don't reveal too much and I appreciate it. And even tho Falcon warns of it most of the time, he seems to like to reveal the endings of games or reveal spoilers in general in most of his videos. 😄 everyone has their own style and I really like your style of giving gaming info and reviews and the comedy in it. Great job guys, keep it up. 👊🤙
I'm playing the game right now and my personal 3 are:
1. No fast travel (really, i have a tone of games in backlog, don't wanna waste time on constant running) + the map is pretty lame,
2. Experience loosing system (not a fan of Souls and sometimes it can be done in such a bad moment, just before new skill point :( )
3. Every single thing in Bogano hurts (even those crabs deal significant amount of health before you figure out how to deal with them) - stormtroopers don't count :P
Just 3 right now, because I haven't encountered goats nor spiders, so still got plenty ahead of me, cheers!
Me: falls down a hole
Oggbo Bogdo: stares in my direction
Me: ah shit, here we go again
This comment is too relatable
I hate that fricking frog
Just an FYI for those that HATE THE FROG and dont want to loose experience points when you die...play on very easy story mode.
I only fought the frog 1 time and I didnt loose any of my points when I died.
I actually enjoyed the game more on easy story mode.
Just an fyi to those who hate that frog. :0)
Grandmaster or go home lol
*intense Star Wars music starts playing*
when I try to jump on a zip-line and cal is like what zip-line and jumps off a cliff
I did that three times in a row one time 🤦🏾♂️
never happened to me lol
You havs to get the zipline upgrade
Bruh
Culby Meekins he means when it doesn’t register ur zip lining
5:00 Also regarding the crates: it's so dumb/weird how when you open an underwater crate, it still does the shaking back and forth animation like BD-1 is in there (like he does in surface-mounted crates), but he's just chillin' on your shoulder underwater. Idk if it's a glitch or intentional, but it's still funny.
Number 10 for sure. With all the slides and crap sometimes I just get frustrated and stop playing for a while because trying to piece together a way back to the Mantis is a PITA
I don’t like spiders, they’re fluffy, ugly, irritating, and they get everywhere
Yeah I remember in skyrim there is a mod that changes all of the spiders to bears
Lol nice reference to “I don’t like sand.” -Anakin
I have arachnophobia so that doesn’t help at all
Everywhere i went after being jumpscared by a spider I was paranoid af
Who else had their first spider jump scare from the BD-1 upgrade workbench area?
Apparently I'm alone in hating Cal's ability to properly aim his jumps - I've died a hundred times jumping out on a rod and landing next to it instead. Now I have to reconsider whether it's really Cal's aim or mine.
Na, I have the same problem where he just clips through it
@@sponge260 This is top 3 on my hate-list for sure! xD
@@MajaPlays worst is jumping to a rope before force pull. You need to do it EXACTLY or you get wasted. This Makes quick jump impossible.
Yall all just suck I had zero problem with this
Ahh yes the true boss fight, ledge clipping
the sad thing is , when i finally got a console and played fallen order (beat it today) i already knew the ending and every single inquisitor battle because of spoilers so i only got a kick out of everything on dathomir : (
The general back tracking on planets… You progress one planet until you dont have the force abilities to progress any further. Head to a new planet - learn the force ability there.
Head back to the first planet. Progress until your blocked again. New Planet, learn ability. Head back to planet A and B, etc.
It‘s pretty frustrating over time…
game: go this way
me: wait i forgot something. lemme go back
game: you cant
i tried doing that when looking for chests and for some reason kept skipping the part. so i had to go all the way around the wierd circle on kasshyyk
Your game gives you directions ?
Mortal Lombar I know exactly which part you mean and boy that annoyed me so much
I hate exploring Kasshyyk
I am right before the final boss, the part where you can't return, and just noticed I skipped a whole area on zeffo, where, I think, is anothes stim
When youre underwater and bd-1 "jumps in a crate" its actually bugged and the crate magically rocks back and forth as if hes in the crate when in all reality hes still on your shoulder.
i think they just didn't bother to make an animation for it.
I noticed that too and it really bothered me
Cal also still makes his little comments to bd while he's searching the crates under under water
For me I don’t really care about that
On top of that, the animation is super weird. Cal does this funky thing with his arms.
I honestly didn't know about losing XP like that. Yeah, I noticed that when I hit the enemy that killed me it would appear that I got my XP back, but I never noticed I had lost it in the first place lol
I’m anxious to see what powers and abilities we will get to learn in the upcoming game.
I could read the entire Bible before I respawn because these loading times are LONG AF
juice it's probably because they try and avoid loading screens like those little hallways you have to squeeze through are basically loading screens
Must be a console thing
@ddashzz the darkness console problem fam.
I want to like But it is on 69 likes.
Don't want to ruin it
When im running around or enter a new area, it will freeze for half a minute, but my ps4 is 4 years old so i cant blame the game.

@@collinkelly2420 nah it happens on pc too unless you have very good specs
YES
The undead Nightsisters on Dathomir are my least favorite enemy type in the game. There's always way too many to effectively handle at once, especially if you're low on Force.
Upside is that if you do have force, Howling Push usually takes out a ton of them at once.
VERY late I know but the double bladed lightsaber absolutely decimates them. Just don’t lock on and swing, you’ll cleave through at least 2 or 3 with each swing
I also thought putting zombies in the game was stupid. Literally an entire galaxy worth of aliens and creatures to use, but nope just stupid zombies.
I actually really liked the idea of going back to the mantis with no fast travel. If anything, some level designs might have benefited from more shortcuts and direct routes. I would have also argued they should have put the ship towards the middle or directly/easily accessible from the middle of the map. IMO, Zeffo is the best designed map (although definitely not perfect)!
My biggest complaints is the force being soo limited. Like a single use unless you damage the enemy with light-sabers? Annoying…
Zeffo is well designed after you explore the whole map and get essential abilities. When I played for the first time I ran into many dead ends on that map, a total waste of time
Who would win?
A young Jedi trained by experienced masters, growing stronger in the force every minute, and knows a good deal of lightsaber dueling.
*or*
Giant frog boi
CreatureCal option 3: Finn. A guy with zero training whatsoever who was a stormtrooper janitor but can apparently nearly yeet the head off of Kylo Ren in a saber battle.
*you cant escape the pink poncho*
Ohdo bogdo was the chosen one
CreatureCal tbh the frog has a good chance because cal hasn’t used his lightsaber in years and he wasn’t that trained
good kisser if you are going to mention a character from the Disney trilogy and you use Finn? Like Rey wasn’t just a girl version of Aladdin who became top tier of the most powerful Jedi in all of star wars canon in 8 months of dicking around and having high school level moral dilemmas. At least in Aladdin he had a Genie to make him a prince.
The game doesn’t last long enough.
Also, Merrin needs to be in the game more.
Can’t tell me I was the only one who got her added to the team and then see the achievement/trophy pop for having a full team. Seriously? Just one new member?
@@harveybirdman2 theres also the bogling from Bogano
Ooo was that required for the achievement/trophy? I thought that was it’s own separate thing?
@@harveybirdman2 I only got the achievement after I got it
The game (full exploration) is around 13 - 15 hours possibly.
My main issues with the game is the boss fight on Dathomir when on normal difficulty he just wipes your health and he has more unblockable attacks then blockable
I couldn't handle the big eagle or whatever it was on knight difficulty. I know at the time I only had 4 stims which now that I think about it is pretty bad. Take your time to get the stims first before doing too many missions because I did both the ninth sister and the big eagle thing on only 4. After just playing a little after finishing the campaign I doubled my stims and everything became alot easier. (Except for electro baton troopers, those guys are scary.) I had to turn down the difficulty for the eagle and the second sister which was sad so I'll definitely keep that in mind for Survivor.
I wish it had navigation, like i can click the ship and see how to get back instead of trying to figure it out
I agree, but only for routes you have already discovered.
Or fast travel but only to the ship
darkness The problem with that is it takes away from certain parts in the story, that I won’t spoil rn, to keep those elements in they kinda had to make it so u can’t fast travel. At least they have shortcuts
@@huh3719 I finished the story anyway
Star wars Google maps. So realistic it takes 4 years to load the fastest course only to contradict it. That would be helpful tho
I wish they made more clotheing options the ponchos sorta look weird
I wanted a hood so baaaaad
My cat is named Melon not having Jedi robes available was a mistake imo. You can’t even put it down to ‘the Jedi were massacred so he’s hiding’ since he’s yeeting a lightsaber around in the open
I wish there was a fully white outfit too, with a bit of cyan, and more cyan on that white poncho. Would look great with my cyan coloured lightsaber.
Jedi robes would be actually nicer xD
@@sabineschrocker7841 I like contrast when i costumize, so i think it would be cool to have anakin's robes which are black, with my lightsaber which has a chrome material and cyan lightsaber. Very dark on very light colours looks really cool to me. Like a black with bright red, green or cyan. Cyan is my favourite though. thankfully there is an all black poncho, so im happy with that.
I actually did go to Dathomir early one my first save (I stopped playing for a while, which led me to start the game over on a new save to familiarize myself with the game & found out you can get it on Bogano if you don't explore Dathomir (note: on my first playthrough of Dathomir I was playing on the lowest difficulty as I often do with games I'm unfamiliar with)!
I've played through this game once, on Jedi Knight. Fighting Oggdo Bogdo was the only time I changed the difficulty to Story Mode because it was too difficult.
Why is the underwater crate opening animation broken

Why I say the game wasn’t complete yet

1. How long it takes to respawn
2. Not being able to pick a character
3. Not making it easier to return to the ship after completing a mission
4. Controlling where Cal goes when going down a slide
5. Merrin actually not coming with you on missions after she decides to join
And the absolute worst...the fact that the game ended and doesn't go on forever
1. Is not really a problem game-wise as it is hardware, Consoles only have a hard drive boasting long load times. Get an SSD and you'll get 10 second respawn times.
2. I actually personally prefer having a linear character as it's not only easier for the story but also so I don't have to spend 1 hour in a character customization system, on a similar note I would've liked some more customization of Cal himself as I find even being able to change his hair for example would be a nice touch. The outfits that he has are meh... pretty much 2 options and then re-colors to go along with them.
3. I do agree with this but I also find that just being able to instantly teleport to your desired destination is un-realistic and un-immersive. Yet I would love to save time, so I agree somewhat...
4. lmao the amount of times I fell off because I could hardly control where he was going is beyond count I 100% agree.
@@benjamin9120 true...but I wasn't saying necessarily teleport back after a mission...cuz that would kinda lame...but just make it easier somehow....like more clues on the map or something
I was hoping Merrin would help out 😭
With the long time to respawn, the absurd lot of puzzles and the slides is enough to be sure that i will never play that game in the hardest difficulty, that would take an absurd amount of time
@@madikay you have shortcuts, some of them are really good
Finally started playing this game because I usually am super behind on games and often it's kinda nice because the bugs have been worked out by the time I get my hands on a game. But, for me, outside of the goddamn spiders and the super aggressive rats, the most frustrating thing for me is some of the platforming. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I feel like I've definitely hit the right mark and I'm like right where I think I need to be to land a jump or grab a rope or vine wall and I miss. Oh, yeah, and stopping the goddamn spinning gears at the right time. It's small, but I wasted so much time just getting the gear stopped at the right spot so that I could jump through the hole. Ugh.
Avoid cylindrical part of a ship with 3 locked door guarded by space troll near the giant ship on zeffo until you have unlocked all abilities. I jumped in early thinking I could get back out later. I couldn’t and had to restart again. That was fun. 🙃
I was perfectly fine with facing Ogdo Bodgo repeatedly, but that puzzle with the ball behind the bars at the start of Bogano was the bang of my existence
Lol the second time I played, I did it first try. I was surprised!
The kasheek puzzle glitched and broke for me
i hated that with more passion than i love myself.
Yeah it only took me a few tries to get Ogdo Bogdo but that sphere puzzle was so annoying... the aNgLeS
LOL i did that and was like omg who puts something like this in a game.. this whole game is a rat maze.. its to see what the rats (you and me) are capable of.. the game shares usage data with the developer.
in skyrim there was always a door at the end of the quest that led u to the beginning of the map without walking the whole way back.. i definitely miss that.
But the game has shortcuts that you open ..
@@kriskater yes it has but even with them it's taking to much time to go back.
ZAFFO IS LIKE, HOW DO I GET BACK TO THE SHIP? MY GOD IT JUST LOOKS LIKE PAIN...
@@thothheartmaat2833 Damn true! I hate it so much! I was trying to find way back to ship for good 30 mins! And then After I unlock some new skills I run is again! God I miss fast travel so much in this game!
I used to make fun of games that would add that. But it's sooo bloody useful. Running through the whole map (which isn't linear) is tedious. Worse so when you get lost
For me, biggest shortage is that Dathomir destination. After about 15th try to fight first spiders, I was like ''Allright, Cal clearly is not ready for this planet yet'' and doubled back for Zeppo
Could you at least give a warning?
