You can tell that Emma was not her usual self. I'm glad to see she was looking more herself at the very end of the video after the door was installed. Teal, what could I say that wasn't already said about your fashion statement. Emma I am sure this comes late but feel better.
At least now we know why we haven't seen any "pop up Emma" lately. Glad to hear that she's on the mend, and looking forward to having all of the crew back up to full strength! Heal well, kiddo! Great job with the painting, Teal! (Like you would have done any other level of work!) Hope Linh gets to see her sloth before you head on out into the Caribbean! Be safe, fair winds and following seas! ⛵

You guys make such a great team together. And a very good way for Emma to grow up watching. Teal’s fashion sense is smart and reasonable being where you are. Love you all.
Thanks for the update. Nice to see the paint job is complete. It looks great. thanks for the tour of the Army base. Take care Emma. Fell better soon. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

In Fort Sherman, we can see that just a fraction of the original buildings have been saved and repurposed. Most have been gutted and left as erie skeletons.

Thanks Emma for the Fort Sherman history. My grandfather served in Panama as an Army private, perhaps at Fort Sherman… Until my great grandmother had him discharged for being underage!

Wow! Well that brought back memories of my time going through jungle warfare training when that military base known as Fort Sherman was active! That was some 30 plus years ago! The jungle is still exactly how I remember it! And so are those old barracks! I just shared your content with my 1/5 Marines buddies that went thru jungle warfare training at Fort Sherman!
Love you guys! Hope all is well with Emma.? I admire your work ethic & expertise. The bulkhead looks beautiful. Can't wait to see the San Blas with you! Safe travels. ❤

Still one of the best looking cruising cats and immaculately maintained. What do you think Teal about the cat (with the ugly windows) that Mads at sailife has bought?
I’m headed to Panama tomorrow the 30 Aug I’m flying in to Panama City. My mission is to inspect a trimaran that was damaged and I made a bid on of €15,000 if I accept it in its current condition. If you’re still there you’re only a bit over an hour to drive to the Marina you’re staying at currently. I would appreciate being able to talk to Teal about boat repair. I’ve watched your videos and believe it or not Teal is the best teacher on UA-cam, but I’m a carpenter, an electrician, and a plumber, not a fiberglass worker (though my parents met at a fiberglass producing factory) I plan on doing these repairs myself and could use some actual guidance as to what to buy and where can I buy it. I hope you read this before Saturday.
One question, please. Why have you not painted all the aluminium parts like the captain's chair, dingy davits and roof supports ... cheers guys. Great job painting the cockpit wall.
If you had too clean the bottom of the boat with those croc's around would not be a fun time. Teal looks odd since you and Emma are wearing white shirts and black pants and Teal is wearing a grey shirt. Didn't you lay out his clothes in the morning on what to wear, lol. After painting it kind a bothered me seeing the roof looking so grey to the new white paint. I bet Teal so also bothered by it since he is such a perfectionist.
Lol, then where is the satisfaction of a job well done? These are things we can do ourselves and it's good to let Emma see she can do it as well. Too many people hire out for everything these days. We want her to become an well rounded independent young lady capable of anything. 😊

My guess would be that the aluminum doesn't rust like steel does and aluminum can be difficult to paint and have it stay on a few years down the road.
