    Thanks for doing this video. This shows the everyday effort and skill window cleaners put into every day. I have a job just like this however the ledges are 6 inch deep. Couldn't close out the last four inches with the moerman because I didn't have an angle arm attachment. Had to go with the ledger squeegee which was much slower.

      I have a job like that and I use an excelerator 14" and close to the side sans fliq pad.

      @@keitht.2727 Thanks for the tip. I'll give that a try. I might have to stand back a bit further to close out on the side so pole doesn't hit the frame edge that comes out six inches from the window.

    This is really great! I'm guessing this is a routine/maintenance clean? I was doing a dealership for the first time recently and it was a first time clean. I found just wetting and scrubbing the windows with the strip washer wasn't taking off the bug marks etc. Also, the rubber seals were pretty filthy with dirt so my mop was just getting nasty after a window or two. I found I had to mop the window, hit it with steel wool on a 3M swivel pad, mop it again and then straight pull. Then detail top and sides. Is that kind of just how it goes with first time cleans then once you come back you can take the excelerator and go faster?

    • @Davez2023
      @Davez2023 3 роки тому +1

      Yes thats how it works. Also as it takes around double the time think of charging double for the first clean.

    Was thinking about getting a fliq excelerator. 14 inch or 18 inch? I mostly do just store fronts like this. I heard the 18 is hard to do? I need it for stuff like restaurants where you have to pole over the tables.

I pull a wagon down 8-mile cleaning windows in Detroit. I am not the fastest guy in the world BUT almost every customer I have said" I will let you wash them today" and before I was done they asked ME if I could come back 1 a month. Be there when you say. The correct answer is what do you need to do that on a regular basis. I have jobs that take me 2 hours and I charge $85. Most window guys say " I would not touch that for under $200" . I am not greedy $42.50 an hour is ok for me. I have less overhead than ANYONE in my area, I do not use a gas-powered vehicle. I live in the city and pull a customized wagon full of my gear. All my business is within a 2-mile radius of where I Live ( City obviously)
