Stock RB20 makes 427 whp with PRP trigger kit
Edgar goes over the PRP street version trigger kit.
The car was experiencing timing sync errors and trigger errors with the factory cam angle sensor.

My timing wandered at idle with the stock CAS so I can only imagine the havoc it was playing at higher RPM. Switched to an NZ kit and haven't looked back. Good work with the little RB that could!
Isn’t the head gasket and rods at it’s limit at 400 whp?

I have the same PRP kit on my R33 GTR. What colors did you match on the CAS side for the 2 sensors?
I have the bottom sensor (cam) wired to the red wire on the ECU side and the top sensor (crank) wired to the green wire on the ECU side. Does this match your wire colors? I see the PRP installation instructions look backwards/mis leading on the cam/crank sensor wiring

I was thinking about getting adjustable cam gears for my rb20 would cheap ebay ones do or do I need hks ones ?

Having some type of issue with my prp crank/cam trigger kit the car will randomly have timing wander around causing lean/rich conditions can’t seem to find anyone that can figure it out any input would be appreciated
Figure it out? I’m having something similar
timing wander can be caused by the inductive pickup wiring being backwards, should be quick to check if your ECU has a built in scope feature.

@SleeperTuning what do you think of a g25-660 (Vband/Vband .72ar IWG)? I have this at home I will run on 91oct since I'm in Canada.
For a faster spooling setup I was thinking to go with this turbine side
( T3/Vband .61ar EWG)
Top mount with 6boost of course
Stock motor for the moment but will probably put poncams and full fuel system (support mods) its for my gtst r32 rb20det. Not my 370z :p

This is how the dyno works, the wheels are supposed to go up on the front roller during a power pull.
This is a twin roller vs a single roller in the ground.
The car is strapped down, and has wheel chocks but this movement up onto the roller is what we want.
