Have an r32 gtst and everyone kept saying I had to go haltech. It’s basically a stock rb20 but I want to get a little more out of it. Installing this ecu with a proper tune sounds like what ima do
I have another question about the video. I've been trying for a while to figure out why my rb20 stutters slightly and the rpm goes up and down slightly. With other r32s the engine sound is the same throughout, but with mine, like with this R32 in the video, it stutters slightly and interrupts. It sounds exactly the same as with this car. What could be the reason for this? My R32 only has bolt on mods such as recirculating blow off, intercooler, Apexi filter, radiator, new 1.4 tfsi ngk coils and iridium plugs. Thanks for your help ! @@SleeperTuning Cool :) Thats why i asked, because i just got my 1jz vvti with efr 7670 tuned recently, and made 453 whp. and im running 2,2 bar boost (32PSI) to make the same numbers as you. (running pumpgas aswell) Guess the G30770 turbo is bigger then the bw efr 7670 too :D

Nice! But what happened to the hub dyno? I would think its better than the roller kind that yall use now.
@@LeonBuilt still have it, but the hub is only needed for 700whp and up. Our roller dyno is capable of reading up to 1000hp, but we find traction becomes an issue over/around 700 wheel. We use the hub for anything higher. Both dynos read accurately. This is old footage but worth sharing.
I know you said ATP makes a direct bolt on turbo for the rb20det is there way to get a link to that exact turbo ?

Hey mannn Pushing my stock 20 aiming for 400 on pump gas Running a garret ta3410 - .70 ar from / .48 AR exhaust housing I’m pretty certain this would be too restrictive to push 400. Just curious would I be better off with a .63 or .82 housing. I’m ordering a new housing and leaning toward the .63 for better response. If you could let me know that would be awesome 🙏❤ I love watching your channel, I’m always surprised you don’t have 100x more subscribers
The little light on the front bumper is actually a parking light. Japan has really tight streets and it helps the driver locate the front end of the car so they dont scrape up their car driving around in tight areas. This one though looks like something youd find at an adult store though lol.

I don't know if you got a/c or not but in the event that you don't have a/c you could put the e- fans on the otherside of the radiator and make them a push still fan instead of a pull style fan. Maybe even a chase bays radiator that mounts the radiator underneath the core support. Just a thought. Either way that S13 rips!!!! I myself am doing the RB swap into my S13.

Noticed it’s only a .48 exhaust housing after being told it was a .63 You know everything when it comes to tuning an RB20DET so I came to ask, will the .48 be too much restriction to hit the 400hp mark? Thanks heaps 🙏 love you’re videos I’ve watched them all multiple times haha
That will be a major restriction bro, like it's going to choke. If you want 400hp realistically .63 at the minimum, and if you want to rev it out to 8000 .82. I am using a .82 for my build, albeit forged, cams, and valve springs.
@ seeet as, was thinking it would be way too restrictive My turbo online comes factory with a .63 and is rated for 550hp. So I’ve replaced it with a .63 as I don’t want massive lag. I want boost to come on quick The rb20 is a high rev motor but I’ve heard keeping it around the 7.5k revs you’ll still make 400ish range but a tad more reliable

Go the Dart block route as is a way better option and same priced as stock block with all the machining You get 6 bolt mains so way safer to stop you crashing the car 💯

What year is your car ? Did they fix the issue in 2015+ models?
Having issues setting up my boost settings with my infinity and bti screen. My raw value voltage isnt changing while selecting up or down on the can output . ? Do you guys know if the number of boost settings have to match the voltage value ?
in regards to the timing if i align the marks on the sprocket and the timing cover is that top dead center of the compression stroke? or do the cam noses need to be checked in order to know for sure ??
