These are I good I am using them as he rightly mentioned these are mid range but exceed expectations
Quite similar but APK165P has higher watts..
@@kallenanthony2497 the 165P is a 4ohm the 165 can be had in a 2ohm which will allow louder output but will not be as crisp as the 165P 4ohm and also the 165P has a larger magnet and when amplified it will go to lower frequencies. If you are looking to replace factory speakers and drive them with the stock head unit the 165 2ohm would be your best choice, the system will go louder. The 4ohm 165P here in Canada cost only $20 more per pair which is odd. I wanted to go with the Voce's but settled for the 165P components along w Audison 5 channel 9 bit DSP amp, my rears will remain stock as well as centre and factory HU will power those for fill. This is in a 2022 Ioniq 5 EV preferred long range w base sound system. With the 165P the amp can do 2x20 tweets , 2 x 50 mids, 1 x 150w sub, if I opt for the 2ohm I will be able to go 2x 40 , 2 x90 mids 1 x270 sub, I want louder sound but I just don't know if I go 2ohm I will give up some clarity and crispness that the 4ohm 165P will provide. Thats my dilema and I have until next Wednesday to decide if I change the speaker to 165 or stick w the 165P. Xcite, what do you think?
EXCELLENT footage! Detailed and informative without getting overcomplicated. Question: what would be RMS power these woofer would be able to handle if driven by an external amp? To be concrete, would the be able to handle 100+ RMS (of clean power with a HPF of around 80-100Ηz)?
as long the amp is firing up to 80 -100 rms per channel should be fine
@@xciteaudio2848 The reason I asked is because a local shop and Audison dealer told me that these speakers can only handle headunit-amp power and should not be driver by anything more potent than that, which I found a little bit odd not only due to the 32mm of voice coil diameter. Anyway, gain in my Xetec P4 Prestige is turned all the way down, yet Audisons reach very satisfactory sound pressure levels at approximately 1/4 of the volume, no need to push them any further. Thank for your advice!

between Audison APK165P & Focal Polygass 165 components, whih is a better speaker? which is more natural & smooth?
Focal if you're alright with bright tweeters
Audison if you need something Balance audio

Can be run without amp also.. but Advisable to run it with amp

Audison APK 165 is well balance speaker compared to Infinity refence 6530CX. In lay man terms with Audison you can layan all type of Genre and not limiting only vocals.

depends are you looking into clarity.. are you looking for bassy speakers?? there are alot of factors to look when buying a set of component set
