- Test Ceratec Liqui Moly. Three samples were tested: 1. Clean oil + clean Ceratec, 2. Pure Ceratec 3. Ceratec with oil after a distance of 6000km. It is the distance that must be overcome with Ceratec oil to complete the process of ceramization - to protect the engine.
The most surprising is the sample number 3 - oil Ceratec the distance of 6000km - wall tubes are clean, and the oil itself looks like it was resistant to the combustion process. Oil Ceratec rapidly flows from the walls of the tube.
In this test, you can see the Certec affects the slippery oil. As you can see Ceratec after 6000km is more slippery - reduced friction.
Good job but why didn't you add an unused oil sample as a 4th . How oil reacts by itself only to the temperature ?

Właśnie też mnie to zastanawia, jaki jest sens żużlować te wszystkie oleje i dodatki, fakt, w olejach widać różnicę ale to porównawczo widziałem na rosyjskim kanale koleś grzał powyżej 250 stopni, i niektore żużlowały niektóre nie. Słowem komentarza dla mnie byłoby warte wspomnienia czy osad ktory się wytrącił na pierwszych dwoch probkach miał jakąś przyczepność do szkła? Czy osad był twardy itp.

Also when you have residue after burn tests... please use a straw to see how easy it would get cleaned. If it will get removed easly that means it will go into the engine oil or DPF filters.

1) This oil is used by many commercial passenger carrying airlines. The Jet Turbine oil contains Organophosphates and other toxic chemicals and VOC's. Its cumulative so each time exposed the more your body stores these toxins in its fat cells and others. Some people's bodies are better at filtering these types of chemicals than others so one person on same flight could seem fine while another is made very sick. Depends on how often a person flies and how their body can deal with detoxifying. My life and career have been ruined by the use of this toxic oil on Jet Aircraft. We were never told nor warned about these health effects as Employees and Crew nor is the flying public. engine oil does indeed make it into the cabin from either worn engine compressor seals (usually at high power settings) or the ACM (air cycle machine air conditioning) bearings as these use turbine oil too, usually Exxon 2380 or one of the lighter oils.
Cabin air isn't filtered from the engine bleed air to ACM's and into the cabin, but there are cabin air recirculation filters.
I have flown on a number of aircraft where the clear smell of turbine oil is in the cabin. The last one was a B747-400 with GE-CF6 engines

Zamierzam na następną wymienę w Astrze G lanie tego oleju Motul X-clean fe 5w30 idelny dla Silników opla. Drugim przez Motula też zalecane to Specyfic dexos2 5w30. I może też wleje Ceratec i zobaczymy czy u mnie wyciszy silnik na tym oleju.
I tak z filmu nie wiem jak zachowuje sie sam olej to raz a po drugie to dlaczego to tak dlugo trwa.Stracilem tylko czas Do chliwa.
this test is unfair. If you have 6 litres engine oil in a engine you need to add 1 bottle of 250ml in the engine and 250ml is 1/12 of the volume of 6 litres. In this test they put about 5 drops of engine oil and thesame amount of the other, it should be more interesting if you make the test equal as the engine of the car.

Cześć. Gdzieś w necie widziałem info, że ceratec nie może być mieszany z syntetykami,tylko minerał lub pół syntetyk. Czy to prawda? Nie było tam wytłumaczone dlaczego. To był jeden z wielu komentarzy pod którymś z filmów o ceratec, ale czy jest w tym jakaś logika?
Jest to prawda (99%). Nawet producent na ulotce pokazuje że ceratec działa z olejem 10W40 i poniżej, ale nie jest nigdzie napisane że działa z olejem syntetycznym 5W40 i daję jakieś pozytywne rezultaty. Napiszę chyba o tym post na blogu, bo często o to ludzie pytają.

I mean...you did great job to compare.However, I would think it is only reference point.
For practical application, I would do the test Regular oil with ceratec after 3k miles vs Synthetic oil with ceratec after 7k miles to compare.
The reason is Ceratec is used with oil...not by itself.
In the real world, oil in the car has to deal with a lot of things such as pollution, metal, contaminant...not only heat.
"Slippery" is not a scientific term relevant to friction, nor is "darker". Spend a few dollars and get a proper oil analysis otherwise all of your conjectures are just that, guess work.
not shaking the product before applying? what kind of test is this ? not following the instructions of the producct, not having the same spaces between the parts like a real engine, etc.. really bad test..

Would be better to use ceratec after engine oil change. But you can use in every time you want, then don't change engine oil on min. 3000km mileage.

I druga uwaga , czy ma znaczenie stosunek ilości oleju do cerateca , w tym doświadczeniu czy tak na oko 50/50% ?
Wnioski? Hmm... Jak widać na próbce po przebiegu 6000km olej nie pozostawia zanieczyszczeń i ma niższe tarcie. Im niższe tarcie w silniku tym silnik ma lżej... mniej spala paliwa, lepiej przyspiesza itd. ale o tym wiedzą wszyscy. Według mnie, wyniki testu są zaskakujące, ponieważ sam ceratec okazuje sie być środkiem niezbyt czystym, w raz ze wzrostem przebiegu ceratec jakby łaczy się z olejem i nie pozostawia już zanieczyszczeń.
Akurat w moim teście wlałem ceratec na oko, mniej cerateca więcej oleju. Butelka cerateca wystarcza na 5litrów oleju, i tej wartości należy sie trzymać. Myślę, że większa ilość cerateca nie będzie miała negatywnego wpływu na pracę silnika - oczywiście nie przesadzajmy i nie wlewajmy samego cerateca, bo wyjdzie nam to co pokazane jest na jednej z próbek - gęsta breja.

The video shows what temperatures I reach in my tests. As you can see the motor oil temperature oscillates between 102-107°C. I checked the temperatures with different amounts of motor oil and the max temperature that I was able to reach was about 130°C. But what kind of temperature does the oil in our car have? This depends on the way we drive our car, but the usual temp. is between 90°C and 105°C. If we overload our engine (with sport drive style, driving with high rpm), we can reach the oil temp of about 150°C. But it's not a high temperature yet, as the temperature in the upper part of the piston can reach over 200°C! So, what happens to the oil in my test is not a big deal compared to what it has to endure in a real motor.

Yes, it's good idea. You will get best results is you use ceratec for new oil. Ceratec use with oil min. 6.000km... for the best results.
Also clean Ceratec will not have all the rest of oil additives including detergent etc...
Why don’t you try to test metabond additive oil and see some difference between liquid moly ceratec and metabond.

Masz trochę racji... ale gdyby np. Ceratec był sprzedawany od razu w oleju to cena tego oleju byłby jeszcze wyższa niż obecnie... Coś co jest jest już drogie, byłoby jeszcze droższe.
Tak kupujesz dwa produkty osobno, i masz jeszcze drożej, trzeba to spakować w dwa różne opakowania itp.
Coś jest na rzeczy, widocznie ten produkt nie działa, stąd też producent nie stosuje tego u siebie w oleju. Podchodzę to tego sceptycznie, jak do lekarstw, "aspiryna na ból głowy", ma pomóc a w ulotce możliwe skutki uboczne. Pewnie jest tak samo w dodatkami do oleju, tylko nikt nie czyta lub nie ma ostrzeżeń, bo prawo nie wymaga.

Zły test, nie zachowałeś proporcji. Cały pojemnik Cerateca jest na aż 5 litrów oleju.
Oczywiście po części masz racje, ale głównym założeniem nie było tu zachowanie proporcji (chociaż się starałem), a pokazanie jak zachowuje się Ceratec pod wpływem wysokiej temperatury. Dzięki za zainteresowanie tematem

Test was corrupted. Ceratec containers come completely sealed. They have a pull-out plastic seal tab under the cap.

Piotr Tester i would like your tests to be more standardized.
you must perform the same test (exactly the same conditions to test all oils)
1.heat source not moving and a constant flame that covers the entire surface;
2.heating time exactly the same for all samples for ex 10 seconds or 15 seconds
3. at the end you should put the burned oil into a thin container so you can see how opaque or transparent the burned samples are compared to each other
4. the final step is to use an optical meter or spectrometry to measure exactly the transparency of the tested samples and sort them from the the most transparent (which is the most resistant to temperature and obviously the best quality) to the most opaque (which will be the worst product you tested)
Nice video.But performing the test in an electric oven over a wide range of temps like say 105C normal up to 130C very aggressive driving would have had more consistent results in my opinion. An open flame creates hot spots and can not accommodate for an even temperature distribution.But i can relay to that because you get a hot spot inside the cylinder right after combustion and that tiny film of oil is going to be exposed to high temperatures for a very short period of time. Although very interestingly, is that the fresh Ceratec appears to have a lower boiling point. I checked their datasheet and the initial boiling point is not specified. It might be that the suspension fluid is meant to evaporate and leave out only the ceramic compound behind.An interesting observation to keep in mind when adding it to your oil.

You boiled the oil. Who pays to you for make videos like this? this products are for ordinary combustion engines not for Jet engines like your test temperature. Over 150 c degre your engine is out as you know. Thats why your video is useless. But i respect your work and effort to make the videos.

Nie jesteś wiarygodny bo robisz to na zlecenie handlarzy tymi produktami ..zresztą sam nim pewnie jesteś.
Tak jestem "handlarzem" któy handluje ceratecem na bazarze obok starszej pani w chuście... Proszę chwilę pomyśleć, zanim napiszę Pan takie bzdury. A tak na poważnie, testuje sam wszystkie produkty, na niczyje zlecenie, tylko z własnej ciekawości. Wszystkie oleje i inne produkty kupuje za własne ciężko zarobione pieniądze.

Coś wspominałeś że masz tego opla w automacie? Jak się spisuje skrzynia? Podobno nie grzeszy trwałością... Ile masz przejchane km na liczniku? Jaki olej masz w skrzyni?
To zależy jak go szanuje. Przy jeździe łagodnej bez ostrych startów itp.. chodzi bardzo dobrze bez żadnych wycieków i remontu. Z racji że to jest moje pierwsze auto dla mnie jako młodego kierowcy to mnie zawsze interesował mnie to auto z automatem bo mieliśmy identyczne tyle że kombi też z automatem sprawdza się rewelacyjnie. Auto wcześniej jechało bez CeraTec na Oleju GM 5W30 tyle że on trochę pił bo był na przeglądzie w ASO. Teraz wypłukałem i wymieniłem na Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W30 (mnie na Motula narazie mnie nie było stać ale miał być olej w którym nie zawierał sadzy). I tu zaskoczenie. Po wypłukaniu był czarny jak smoła dlatego że było dużo nagaru więc skróciłem przebieg ze względu że nie wiadomo jaki poprzedni właściciel lał olej. Wlałem razem z CeraTec i na razie w porządku. Co do oleju do skrzyni tu muszę się informacji dowiedzieć bo nie był olej wymieniany jakie parametry ma być olej do skrzyni bo w najbliższym czasie dla bezpieczeństwa ok. listopada będzie wymieniany. Co do licznika aktualnie ma przejechane 187 263 KM jak na rocznik 2003 to dla mnie nie wiele.
Według informacji od Motula powinienem lać olejem albo takim www.motul.com/pl/pl/products/oils-lubricants/multi-atf

dexron III od motula po co? szkoda kasy mannol robi tanie oleje
