I love your tutorial. I have searched through about 20 tutorials trying to figure out how to get the sides to go vertical instead of just wider and wider. Thank you so much for sharing. And now I have a new idea.
I could get totally hooked on this. I've been wanting to do some. I will have to shut myself in my room, so the cats don't "try to help".😂But, maybe I could make them them each a hideaway basket pouch for napping as practice pieces.
You're not the 9nly one that has "helpers". I have one that likes to set on my back with his head on my shoulder. If some movement catches his fancy, he tries to attach the area where the needle is going up and down..it has led to many...discussions
I never thought about sewing a rope bowl in reverse over the arm of the sewing machine! I definitely have to try that. And adding a hanging loop is genius too. Perfect timing for spring cleaning/organizing!!
I really want to make some for my sewing room. But I just found some that were a 1.00 so I bought them. I am going to try to make one. Now, I have a better understanding of the process. Thank you. You are a great teacher.❤
Wow...Love this and all the tips, especially the math, NICE! These will make great gifts...for non-crafty...family members....Wish I had a smidge of your creativity and patience.
I've been wanting to make one of these forever now and your tutorial gave me the confidence to give it a try! Love how you added the fabric scraps to add a pop of color!
I need a cute little waste basket, I was going to buy one. Of course the ones I liked were expensive. I’m so glad I decided to check out rope basket video tutorials. Thank you, I will be making one soon. You do Beautiful work. ❤
I am a new plant parent, with more on the way, and I adore the plant pot cover usage! Love the tip of turning it over and inside out to get a bit of height for a narrower container. Never would have thought of that. Thank you!
I really enjoyed your video. So easy to follow and def. Something I would love to try. All he information left nothing for me to wonder about. Such smart baskets
I always wondered if a Flexispot desk would rattle and shake with a sewing machine on it. Glad to see you use yours standing. That gives me another option for a sewing table since I like to stand. Thanks for the tutorial. I think I can do this now!
Someone on Instagram was charging money for this kind of tutorial. I just came here and searched. I can’t thank you enough for your generosity and in taking the time to share this for free. You have a new follower. Thanks again. 🥰
You are so creative! I cannot wear what you wear, not because I'm 56 years old, but because I have a completely different body type. I still watch your videos though. It is inspiring and motivating. Thank you.
I keep finding all of these super cute crafts that require a sewing machine that I don't have 🤣♥️ so glad my birthday is coming, I'm bumping this to the top! Gosh these are so dang cute!!
So good! Thank you! And thank you for the Brigit Tee! I made a long sleeve one last week in a medium weight sweater knit and it is lovely. More to come.
I have made a few bowls and couldn’t figure out how to make the sides more vertical. So thank you for this tutorial! And also, I appreciate the math for estimating the amount of rope needed. Your bowls are beautiful.

I love this! So gorgeous and easy. I'm thinking I'll try to leave a little hole in the centre when starting off the coil. Then my plastic hanging plant pots can still drain any excess water through if needed.
Loving these and now want to make several; they'd make great gifts, especially for Easter egg hunts 🐰🐣💖 I've also seen this sort of thing as bags 😍, made of two flattish discs with a handle, which I think could be cool for summer..... 👏👏👏👏
