- Since the war in Ukraine began there has been a mass exodus of Russian opposition activists, agitators and journalists.
Forced to flee their homeland following a Kremlin crackdown on dissident voices inside Russia, many have fled to the former Soviet satellite states of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
In Vilnius, a group of opposition reporters have been working to uncover the
true death toll of Putin's war in Ukraine, work that would likely land them hefty prison sentences in Russia.
In this excerpt from an Exclusive Sun documentary, the reporter's reveal how they are tracking the hidden Russian death toll of the Ukraine war and how many Russian soldiers they believe have really died in Ukraine.

Please do not go there , you will whitness horrors so cruel & evil i still cant fathom how humans can do these things to one another. I helped a lot of people while there but now psychologically im broken.

I have such deep respect for these young Russian patriots. I can tell how much they love their country and miss their home. They are dedicated and understand their duty as journalists. Unlike their countrymen inside Russia, these journalists see firsthand reality without propaganda. If only there were a way for them to communicate the truth back home. Would they be believed or seen as traitors? I guess they will just have to sit tight and wait.

Yesterday at 10 a.m., an aid organization's vehicle was fired upon with heavy weapons by Russian troops near Ivanivske in the Bakhmut region.
After a direct hit, the vehicle caught fire.
Of the 4 helpers in the vehicle, 2 were seriously injured but are in a stable position.
1 helper was killed and another person is missing 😢😢😢

A Russian General just announced that no Russian troops will be rotated out of Ukraine until the war is over. This is a shock to every single contract and mobilized soldier and will have a large impact on morale. This could be 1917 all over again.

It is very sad to see these figures it is a shame both sides don't share the true numbers of dead and wounded perhaps the call for peace talks would be increased.
And to think that this is not the only conflict now in the world. And every 10-20 years we have a major conflict somewhere, maybe the war in Iraq, before that Vietnam, then Korea, then WW2. That's just the last 75 or so years. When you start to add it all up, Humanity is nearly constantly at war somewhere and destroying itself almost as fast as it grows. 60K? I just heard a report that says 380K KIA with 720K WIA. So a total of over 1 Million.
From what I read, my best guess would be probably 600,000+ total casualties, 150k+ Kia and 450k+ wounded. Many of the wounded will have either surrendered/been captured, or are wounded so badly they'll never fight again. So I'd guess perhaps 300k+ would be hors de combat. Remember, a lot of the wounded Russians have survivable injuries but just get left to die of infection or exposure.

You realize that ruzzia is not fighting any of the armies that you are speaking of? They are in fact being dismantled by the Ukrainian military, and a few thousand foreign volunteers (which happens in every war), who are using weapons donated by freedom loving nations around the world.

I think they miscalculated the death toll because Putin is mobilizing new recruits frequently and also there are many disappeared soldiers who weren't counted as dead ones.
