Actually, Malaysian Indian curry is not exactly the same as the one in India. It depends on the shop u go to. If it is catering to a lot of Malaysian, the curry also has a lot of Malaysian influence and will be slightly different.

I think must give a second chance to Asam Laksa. If use to it you will like it. If you live in penang,you must already live in heaven of food. Many food you must try,I guess you must another kind of laksa,some laksa follow recipe according the states. Maybe you should try laksa Johor or Sarawak. Maybe suit your taste.👍
If u stay at Penang..you should try Nasi Kandar because they are like signature dish of Penang...and maybe make reaction about it..just recommend...Btw like ur video stay strong and stay healthy

There many variation of butter chicken Indian version and Malaysian Version, malaysian version typically light in flavour of spices, you should tried it someday.. Nasi lemak kinda similar to korean food, we mix rice with “sambal” which is sauce that mixture of ground dried chili and chili paste, shallots, garlic, shrimp paste and achovies and fried all together. Similar with korean eating rice with gochujang or other chilli mixture. Laksa has acquired taste but there are many variation of Laksa in Malaysia.
