It's a toilet bidet, you can clean it using the water itself. How you use your bidet is depends on yourself with high/medium/lower intensity towards your bum, I never had such trouble with it. Also, using a bidet contained clean water isn't hygienic? what a joke.

I’m Malaysian and a muslim. I use water bidet to clean up after no1/no2. But I don’t agree with the idea of wash the toilet floor while using the toilet. I’m prefer dry floor. It was a skill to use water to clean up without watering the floor.

In some places in Malaysia, the owners or management of those places choose not to employ workers for toilet upkeep but contract or source out the upkeep to third parties for no fee. So these third parties that charge each user a small fee to use the toilets. Personally I think this is a not a good practice.
The water hose is like a bidet. Some people (not necessary muslims), need to have a clean bottom before using tissue. It is better using water than having a dirty bottom as tissue cannot clean 100%.
Oo...Now I know that Mcdonalds in Korea don't have Fish Burgers. It's my favourite burgers when I was a teenager. Now I feel sad that the size of the burgers getting smaller compare to a decades ago. About the pork thing,we muslim can't touch anything related to pork,swine,pig..that's why the cashier won't touch it (assuming she/he is a muslim)..other than that, we also can't use any item that mixed up with swine related things..that is why u paid the pork at non-halal cashier..

Its just like antidot to it, then only we can perform prayer, if only wash with water is not enough, its hard to get soil also during working in supermarket, so we rather not touch. I found that your culture shock experiences here in Malaysia is kinda cute 😅🥰 Btw, about the hose in the toilet, as Malaysian people are majority Muslim, we are suppose to make sure our body & clothes that we’re wearing to pray are clean (most importantly clean from any ‘najis’ which are pee/ excrement residue, after we did the no. 1 & 2 stuffs... it does not only focus on human residues, but also if it’s from animals as well) So, as we Muslim need to perform 5 times of prayers daily & not everyone can go back to their home whenever they go outside for activities/working/shopping etc & change into new & clean clothes (especially underwear) before they pray, right? So, it’s more convenient for us to have those hose in the toilet + tissue paper for extra cleaning purpose whenever we use the toilet.. in that way, we could make sure that our body are completely clean & can perform our prayer perfectly after that..

Eunae은애라라 oh yeah, btw, about the pork, it’s part of ‘haram’ food or non-halal food which mean forbidden stuffs in Islam... there are many other food/drinks that are consider as ‘haram’ in Islam, such as alcoholic drinks, dog meat, cat meat, monkey meat, etc... Even those chicken/lamb/cow meat are consider as halal meat/food in Islam, however it could turn into haram if the way they’d been slaughtered are not compatible as Islamic practices or if they’d been infected by any harmful viruses.. Those haram meats could only consider as lawful in emergencies when a person is facing starvation and his life has to be saved through the consumption of this meat... Oh yeah, as we’re talking about pork, as a Muslim, we are not only forbidden to consume the meat from pigs/boars, but also we can’t use any items that integrates or made basically from their body parts or even their DNA.. If in case we did touch any of them physically, we Muslim need to perform ‘Sertu’ which is a purification process of mughallazah najis which are dog and swine by washing it seven times and one of the washing is with water mixed with soil, whether the najis is aini or hukmi. If it came into contact with clothing, body or place... Same goes to alcoholic drinks.. we can’t eat food that contain alcohol in it as well... There’re more into these topic, as it’s a wide topic & could be a complicated one to discuss here in a short amount of time.. However, don’t get me wrong here ok? 👌🏻 As a Muslim, I don’t hate when non-Muslims people are consuming those pork meat or drinking alcohol, I respect your culture & your preferences.. especially in term of drinking alcoholic beverages, as long as if you’re taking it moderately & not doing it excessively & not become as a harmful to anyone else, it’s ok for me..
In Malaysia have three people are Chinese people, Malay people and Indian people. Also in our country Muslim women must wear hajib when it is her father tell her daughter must wear or her husband call her must wear the hajib. Remember don’t pull Muslim women hajib because Impolite.
We have hose in toilet is to wash our 'thing' after doing number 1 or 2. Using water is much cleaner than only using tissue. We wash our have hand using water after eating(or doing something) to clean our hand, why not we wash our thing using water after number 1 or 2? or else some poo may still stick to our bottom skin.. right? 😁 About the McDonald, try the fish burger, FilletOFish + ApplePie + ChocoTop + Water(any). Non halal among malay muslim usually related to dog, pork, and alcohol. This is very common. So some place that serve pork and alcohol, you will not find muslim there. Actually other than muslim, jewish also don't eat pork. So if you meet jewish you will encounters the same situation. About the toilet bidet, people will find it hard. In village usually we have gayong(this is more traditional) among malay. The modern malays start to use bidet these days. The third is hijab. In Malaysia, you will find muslim woman hijabis in different way and color. These day they are fashionista. Other than muslim, there are other minor religion that wear head covering like nun of catholic, buddhidt nun, jewish druze, sabian, and other minor religion, some of them are more strict. You can search about it. In arab where the place was hotter than Malaysia. They still wear hijab, i think hijab to keep from hot weather, which mean hijab also helpful during hot weather than just a religion rule.

In Leviticus 11:27, God forbids Moses and his followers to eat swine “because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud.” Furthermore, the prohibition goes, “Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.” That message is later reinforced in Deuteronomy.this from bible...we muslim also told not to eat and touch pork in quran..and for water hose in a toilet it is part of our religion and culture to clean from najis(unclean such as feces/urin etc) with water(there is a guidance in islam for what type of water can be use) until no colour, smell and feel then it's consider clean.
I had the same problem when I was in Korea ... Why is there no water hose, but now I know, every time when I go to the toilet in Korea I should bring along bottle to fill the water.

If you want to find pork easily, stay at chinese area. There will be wet market you could buy fresh pork meat.
It is better to use tissue after using the bum pump or bidet. It will be 99.9% clean. Using tissue paper alone is not clean enough.

Hi pretty Eunae 👋 as for the muslims, we can touch pork and alcohol but it would be better not to touch because we must wash our hand after touching it ( also called 'tayammum', can try google it) its just because of our religion not that we dont like or hate it✌️
I also recommend you to try Mcdonald's porridge. As for me, every time i have fever and cannot eat well, McD porridge is daebak 😊

I found that your culture shock experiences here in Malaysia is kinda cute 😅🥰
Btw, about the hose in the toilet, as Malaysian people are majority Muslim, we are suppose to make sure our body & clothes that we’re wearing to pray are clean (most importantly clean from any ‘najis’ which are pee/ excrement residue, after we did the no. 1 & 2 stuffs... it does not only focus on human residues, but also if it’s from animals as well)
So, as we Muslim need to perform 5 times of prayers daily & not everyone can go back to their home whenever they go outside for activities/working/shopping etc & change into new & clean clothes (especially underwear) before they pray, right? So, it’s more convenient for us to have those hose in the toilet + tissue paper for extra cleaning purpose whenever we use the toilet.. in that way, we could make sure that our body are completely clean & can perform our prayer perfectly after that..

Eunae은애라라 oh yeah, btw, about the pork, it’s part of ‘haram’ food or non-halal food which mean forbidden stuffs in Islam... there are many other food/drinks that are consider as ‘haram’ in Islam, such as alcoholic drinks, dog meat, cat meat, monkey meat, etc... Even those chicken/lamb/cow meat are consider as halal meat/food in Islam, however it could turn into haram if the way they’d been slaughtered are not compatible as Islamic practices or if they’d been infected by any harmful viruses.. Those haram meats could only consider as lawful in emergencies when a person is facing starvation and his life has to be saved through the consumption of this meat...
Oh yeah, as we’re talking about pork, as a Muslim, we are not only forbidden to consume the meat from pigs/boars, but also we can’t use any items that integrates or made basically from their body parts or even their DNA.. If in case we did touch any of them physically, we Muslim need to perform ‘Sertu’ which is a purification process of mughallazah najis which are dog and swine by washing it seven times and one of the washing is with water mixed with soil, whether the najis is aini or hukmi. If it came into contact with clothing, body or place...
Same goes to alcoholic drinks.. we can’t eat food that contain alcohol in it as well... There’re more into these topic, as it’s a wide topic & could be a complicated one to discuss here in a short amount of time..
However, don’t get me wrong here ok? 👌🏻 As a Muslim, I don’t hate when non-Muslims people are consuming those pork meat or drinking alcohol, I respect your culture & your preferences.. especially in term of drinking alcoholic beverages, as long as if you’re taking it moderately & not doing it excessively & not become as a harmful to anyone else, it’s ok for me..

In Malaysia have three people are Chinese people, Malay people and Indian people. Also in our country Muslim women must wear hajib when it is her father tell her daughter must wear or her husband call her must wear the hajib. Remember don’t pull Muslim women hajib because Impolite.

We have hose in toilet is to wash our 'thing' after doing number 1 or 2. Using water is much cleaner than only using tissue. We wash our have hand using water after eating(or doing something) to clean our hand, why not we wash our thing using water after number 1 or 2? or else some poo may still stick to our bottom skin.. right? 😁

Usually for non halal, you need to pay it at non halal station which serve by non muslim. Non halal among malay muslim usually related to dog, pork, and alcohol. This is very common. So some place that serve pork and alcohol, you will not find muslim there.
Actually other than muslim, jewish also don't eat pork. So if you meet jewish you will encounters the same situation.
About the toilet bidet, people will find it hard. In village usually we have gayong(this is more traditional) among malay. The modern malays start to use bidet these days.
The third is hijab. In Malaysia, you will find muslim woman hijabis in different way and color. These day they are fashionista.
Other than muslim, there are other minor religion that wear head covering like nun of catholic, buddhidt nun, jewish druze, sabian, and other minor religion, some of them are more strict. You can search about it. In arab where the place was hotter than Malaysia. They still wear hijab, i think hijab to keep from hot weather, which mean hijab also helpful during hot weather than just a religion rule.

In Leviticus 11:27, God forbids Moses and his followers to eat swine “because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud.” Furthermore, the prohibition goes, “Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.” That message is later reinforced in Deuteronomy.this from bible...we muslim also told not to eat and touch pork in quran..and for water hose in a toilet it is part of our religion and culture to clean from najis(unclean such as feces/urin etc) with water(there is a guidance in islam for what type of water can be use) until no colour, smell and feel then it's consider clean.
